They replaced the tile floor in the shower, and removed and replaced broken tiles around the tub fixtures. The work Alex and Oscar did is beautiful. They did the work exactly as I wanted, arrived promptly, were polite, and tidied up the work areas each day. Communication with me was excellent before and during the project, from project manager Ryan and the workers on site. They listened to me and asked good questions when decisions needed to be made, offering useful suggestions when appropriate. They even helpfully coordinated with my plumber about project sequencing and options for removing and replacing the broken tiles around the tub fixtures. Straightline Grout sets a high bar for quality of work and customer service, one that I wish every contractor would meet.

I called 5…read moredifferent local companies for quotes. 1 of which refused to do a quote in person another that never showed up to 2 different appointment. Of the 3 that actually showed up I decided to go with Affordable Glass. The salesman/owner Zach was the most professional of all the companies and he took the time to go over options with me and explain how they install. Even sketched it all out on a diagram to provide me with a visual aid. I decided to go with Affordable Glass for my project and I am very glad I did. They had very competitive price and communicated clearly with me throughout the whole process. They installed the glass on the date and time I requested as well and went over care And maintenance with me. When installing there was one bracket missing from the kit and the installer David promised he would be back on Monday to complete. Which he did they called me early Monday to again schedule a time to come back out and install the last remaining bracket. I will refer this company to anybody that I know is looking at doing a project like this. I think some of these other reviews that were negative on here were likely from customers that had sticks up their butts and embellished on how the process went. Good price Good communication Great staff.

I want to preface this review by saying I really like these guys. They are friendly and honest. My…read morereview of 2-stars is due to the lack of professionalism and accountability. I had a significant job and was told the glass for my doors would be in within 5-7 business days. Almost 6 weeks later the job was finally completed. Long story short-they made significant errors in measurement and cuts. Additionally I had installers leave tools and caulking guns on my carpet when they easily could have put them on the tile. No effort was made to ensure they didn't dirty the carpet, i.e....no drop cloths, etc. in fact, I had an installer show up in flip flops. Not professional or safe at all!!! These guys are working with heavy glass-flip flops are not only gross, but dangerous. Imagine a cut foot bleeding in your home! I want to like these guys, but unfortunately a lack of professionalism makes this outfit look like a Mickey Mouse business. Just being honest. I am in the construction business and was hoping these guys may do future work for me....won't be happening.

They acknowledged their mistake and they offered to credit me the difference or replace it with the correct one. I opted for the correct ladder to be reinstalled. 5/5 stars still remains for their communication and good install quality. Mistakes happen! Was a bit confused since I see they have locations throughout Texas. And reviews mentioned their names in different cities. But I'm in Houston and spoke with Kevin (owner) over the phone. Anthony was the installer. Maybe all the Texas locations use an alias Anthony and Kevin? Anthony was the technician that came out to replace my broken attic ladder. His install was so crisp and clean, very meticulous to detail. He did a better job than the plumber and electrician I hired. I wasn't home for the install so he had free access to my property and treated it with respect and didn't leave a messy work area for me to return to. His install quality impressed me more than the product itself, not to say that it's a bad product, not at all. But his work was that good. Kevin was the owner/sales rep and was very communicative every step of the way. Very transparent pricing and I think it was reasonable for the quality of the product, but most importantly, Anthony's installation quality. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you need an old attic ladder that is sagging or broken, to be replaced.
