I have now been to 3 Rocco's locations - yay me! haha I had a nice time at this Rocco's Tavern in Pasadena while sticking to just drinks and fun with the OCA Homies. We somehow walked in at the perfect time to snag the last round booth of the bar. Prime spot and comfy seating great for a group hang. It really seemed like more of a sports bar playing all the games and being quite loud inside. But we made it work and were able to get some good chatting time in over drinks, as well. I do wish their craft beer menu had some more exciting options, perhaps dipping into some local options. However, I was able to find a couple things on the menu to suit my fancy. Plus can I really complain when my second beer came super sized but priced the same as my first pint. Cheers to somehow landing within their happy hour & the server automatically upgraded us! My happiness was instantly upgraded, as well! Overall, good times were had at Rocco's so what more could I want in a local pub!

Party in Pasadena!! Finally stopped into Rocco's w/ the squad for a post dinner hang, great convo and our table board game via my homegirl Sarah S. We caught the happy hour w/ a round of craft (IPAs and Hard Cider). Had a great table, view of both Green Street, where this Rocco's Tavern resides between De Lacey Avenue and Fair Oaks Avenue in Old Town P(asadena.) There's parking in front, but it goes as fast as a home run. Local street parking and garages close by. Most street parking is metered and limited to two hours, so a lot of people opt for garages, rideshare and the local metro. We didn't do food, but a local frequenter and overall incredible human being Miori I., knows all that's good here - from their cool Noon - 7pm happy hour (Monday through Friday), 3pm to 7pm (Saturday and Sunday) to their 10pm to close every day happy hour. Restrooms are solid. Layout is trendy, Rocco's location have a very district modern vintage style with those rustic features, old style booths and tons of sports memorabilia. It's a sports bar at its core, so it can get pretty loud in here. Luckily our group knows how to navigate big spaces and events. Was nice to bond before the holidays with this awesome people aka my co-friends/co-workers and we're definitely up to do it again. Security in front was a gentle giant. And we got checked on fairly regularly by a ready to take on the world server. Pours are very generous even outside of happy hour. Rocco's only downside for me is there lack of a solid vegan options. A House Salad is nice and all, but it's 2025... All their locations have the same menu. Some buffalo cauliflower, fries without parmesan (Rocco's Italian Fries) and a plant-based pizza or burger/sandwich... Please and thank you... Before recently I hadn't been to a Rocco's in well over a year maybe even two because of this. It's nice to have some food everyone can have or at least the option. You can Build Your Own pizza w/o cheese. Not sure if they've got anything gluten-free... for my fully gf and celiac friends. But it's a sports bar first so I typically wouldn't expect most to accomodate or be able to, though I would expect a well know local chain to. Would and will absolutely be back for drinks, games and vibes.

Came to Rocco's with my wife, son, and 2 of our friends and we really enjoyed it. It's a great location and has a great atmosphere. We sat outside because we had our son with us and they brought out a high chair for us. TVs were both inside of the bar and they had about 4 tvs outside. Service was great as our waitress made sure to check us on and brought out the drinks and food quickly. My friends live close so not sure about the parking situation. We had the pizza, boneless wings, and some fries which were all good. If you're in the area, I would recommend checking it out.

5/5 ambiance. I went on the first Sunday of football and they had multiple games playing and all fans seemed to be represented 4/5 food I wa stood they were famous for their pizza. I typically like cheese that's a little more "baked" here it's pretty gooey and the texture was a little congealed. Michelada was great but on the lighter side of spice. 5/5 service again I was there on an extremely busy Sunday and the waiters were still so attentive when it came to food and drinks. Only thing we had to chase and search for was the bill Parking not really giving staying since it's the city. But you do need an app to pay for parking if you don't carry change. The meters don't have card options

Simple food done right. This is the best Rocco's location I've come across. Has a nice shady outdoor patio plus the servers are super kind and knowledgable about the menu. I appreciate a very well-dressed nachos platter and a super crispy mozzarella stick. Great place to chill and watch a game inside. Came during the NBA Finals and it was a nice rowdy crowd. Opt for the Chicken nachos because they're surprisingly well-seasoned!

Rocco's is very welcoming. Walking down Green street you come across a bar filled with people, sports playing on their tvs and there are no doors. Just walk right in. Its a great place for a pub crawl or to hang out to watch your favorite sports team while having a beer and some food. The service is a bit slow for the handful of times I've been but honestly I am there for the games, atmosphere, and bites. Since majority of times my visits are spent expecting to be there for a couple of hours it doesn't bother me too much. But if you are expecting a quick in and out, be prepared. Rocco's Tavern is a sports/bar atmosphere, but you would be foolish to look down on the food. It is home to Pasadena's single best pizza, the White Pie. I've tried every single popular non chain pizza location in Pasadena in search of a decent reliable pie and it's ok Pasadena doesn't have that minus the white pie here. The wings are decent if not a bit expensive. They accommodate my Atlanta style request of combined hot sauce and lemon pepper which they don't have to do. Harder to get wing places in SoCal to do that for some reason than you'd think. Service is great and casual, no pressure or rush. Had some stellar service experiences here with a visiting manager (studio city, Bridget). They also have the pandemic style street seating so you can bring your dog. Happy hour is a good deal too, buy 1 get 1. Glad to have this place in my neighborhood.

I remember I was hungry and craving some pizza. So after searching for a while, we decided on Rocco. The pizza came out hot and looking pretty good. However, some slices were more salty than others?? Not sure why...it was also kinda wet. Overall, it was ok because we were hungry. Don't think we will get pizza here again.

Came into Rocco's Tavern in Pasadena and had such a great time! I ordered an extra, extra spicy Bloody Mary after a long night of partying the day before and it was amazing! They nailed the spice and flavor perfectly. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super attentive and friendly. Service was on point the whole time. I got the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza (so good I didn't even get a chance to take a photo because I devoured it ) and my husband had the shrimp tacos, which he loved too. This is definitely a great spot to catch a game, TVs everywhere, great energy, and good vibes all around. It was our second time here and just as great as the first. Highly recommend coming here for drinks, good food, and to watch your favorite sports!

came here for superbowl. Service was terrible. Staff disappeared most of the time and where mote concerned about their squares. If you came for superbowl, check your receipts, they have a ridiculous hidden fee and tried to round up our bill to get the tip to 18%. Def. reporting this shady scheme to the BBB.... spoke to manager, they said it was their right since they're a private establishment or some pathetic explanation. Hope thos isn't what Pasadena is turning into.

Surprise surprise surprise... I was in town for a concert and time to kill with some pre gaming. So I took to my handy dandy Yelp app and started searching. Soon after I found Rocco's. After a quick uber trip I found myself seated in front of what appeared a fun place to hang out. The bar was full as were the indoor booths. But that didn't bother me as the outdoor seating makes you feel emerged in the vibe. Moses advised it was happy hour and what the specials were. He also provided a menu to peruse. The menu contained your typical bar favorites from wings to pizza, to mozzarella sticks and oops they were out of zucchini. They also had sandwiches and pastas which looks really good as I saw them going by about to be served to other tables. We went with beers, served in nice sized beer mugs with sturdy handles, pizza and wings. The 911 was HOT and very tasty. Maybe too hot for some but just the right amount of heat for me.The lemon pepper fries were also tasty. The pizza was really good. Made in a this crust with fresh toppings and gooey cheese. The service was good and friendly. The food was delicious. The location was fun and friendly. I do look forward to going back. Thanks Rocco's...I'll be back when you get some zucchini for me to try :)

This place pops off!! Came here for Dodgers vs Yankees Game 1, and the place went wild. I dont remember much if the service was great or not, but it was just a great time. People were having a good time and drinks were getting served. Definitely consider one of the more social spots in Pasadena, I would come here to watch big sporting events. They will play the audio for the games!

Rocco's Tavern in Pasadena is one of those spots that just gets it right. Whether you're popping in for a casual lunch, a game night, or their legendary happy hour, you're in good hands. I came by around 1 PM for lunch with a husband, and the place had a great energy -- not too loud, not too quiet. The staff was friendly, quick with the drinks, and super chill even when the tables started to fill up. Let's talk food: The pepperoni pizza is legit. Thin crust, crispy edges, melty cheese, and that classic NY-style fold. Super satisfying, and perfect for splitting or taking down solo if you're hungry enough. Portions are generous, especially for the price. Their happy hour (which is two for one, thank you very much) is where it's at. Discounted apps, beers, and strong cocktails you can definitely post up here for a few hours without breaking the bank. Plenty of TVs for the sports crowd, big booths for groups, and a solid patio area for when the weather's nice. Rocco's isn't trying to be fancy it's just consistently good, reliable, and a great spot to kick back.

it was a fun experience dining in at rocco's. very lively atmosphere with lots of people (mainly friends or couples) and a great happy hour deal! lots to choose from the menu - we ordered a pizza and rounds of drinks with their BOGO deals during happy hour. really generous portions of food and alcohol. it does get pretty loud in the restaurant, and there's only one bathroom available for each gender so there may be a line. food: 8/10 customer service: 7/10 read more

i came in for dinner with four friends and really was amazed MOISES walk us through the menu and all his suggestions was on point he recommended the cheese bread ay he said to add the pepperoni it was amazing my friend wasn't sure what to have to drink and he said the bartender made an amazing lemon drop and the doubles were a better deal she absolutely loved it then he suggested a large antipasta salad for the table I wanted fettuccine and he suggested the garlic Alfredo with shrimp delicious then he suggested the brownie for dessert and our drinks were never empty we will come back and ask for him again we've been to the west hollywood location much better service here read more

Went in there to watch an NFL game (Wk1) 10am games and none of the TV were broadcasting the correct games (couldn't watch my team play) .. Over priced food and drinks.. The food item I ordered(spinach and egg breakfast burrito ) was bland, no flavor from the spinach or cheese, and the Mojito was totally watered down.. The servers you can tell were tired from yesterdays college festivities, and then turn around and deal with early NFL fans.. With tax and all, I spent nearly $40 dollars... Mind you two little items..Naw.. I'm cool on this place, wont see me there ever again. besides parking is a major issue around there... Ya'll can miss me with Rocco's Tavern.. read more

Went to the Pasadena location. Walked in and someone come over after 10 minutes and took our drink order. He asked for our credit card to start our order which was weird because we were sitting at a table. Drinks came and then after 25 minutes we were never asked what we wanted to order. We then asked for our check when he finally came back over, he forgot he took our card. I came here once before with a coworker months ago and loved it. I should of taken picture of guests but there was only three tables with people sitting at them. I am not a complainer but this was my anniversary dinner and after a long day at work, I just wanted quick nice dinner. I have attached how many people you had working. Not much to say about this spot. I've been to Rocco's a hand full a times. Each time hasn't been bad. The service is chill, meaning don't expect them to attend to you like royalty but at least they are nice. Right on the Green street close to Gyugaku(Japanese restaurant) and Bucca de beppo(Italian restaurant). Parking will be difficult to find since it's on a one way street. If you are planning on drinking.. I strongly suggest to be responsible and take a ride share instead of driving here. Why? Because they have a buy one get one special most of the evenings. And they give a generous amount of encouragement if you know what I mean ;) Whether you are here for the drinks or not.. The pizza here is surprisingly good! Inside is pretty dark with lots of televisions like your average sports bar. If you come here during winter evenings, make sure to bring a jacket or a sweater because it gets cold. I was in from out of town...seriously. My son and I wanted to watch the Colts game while in LA. We did a little research prior to out trip and thought we'd check out Rocco's Tavern Old Town-- here's why: 1) we were staying North of LA. 2) we knew we needed a bar atmosphere so we could stay for the WHOLE game 3) it's was an early game (10am pacific) 4) my son is 16 (would not be allowed in actual bar) Rocco's came through on all these necessities to help us cheer on our Colts (who lost). We were able to procure a table with perfect view of 4 TVs AND by the open window. Atmosphere was total neighborhood bar--which my son found kinda fun (he hasn't been to a place like this). The food was great! We were intrigued with Mac and cheese as the appetizer, it would have been great as an entree too. Nice garlicky flavor to it and VERY CHEESY just the way it should be! We also each ordered Rocco burgers served on a delicious brioche bun. The fries came as a side to the burgers and were cooked perfectly. Crispy outside, soft inside. Loved everything about our time together at Rocco's! Thanks everyone working Christmas Eve first shift. read more

3.5 STARS I wasn't sure how I felt about this place when I actually arrived. I came for the late night happy hour which was after 10pm. When I got here I sat myself down at a high top table (they all are I think) and pondered if they have servers. I decided to give it 5 mins for someone to show up as I did not want to physically walk up to the bar and order drinks and food. I came for the half off wings! They have half off pizza too. Their 2 for 1 drinks is kind of confusing and I'm not sure if each person needs to order two or can each person just get one ??? A server did come and she asked me if I just wanted a double so I said yes. I don't think my drink was strong though. I got the St. Germain drink and the s/o got a spicy marg. Drinks came in huge mugs so ask for a straw if you have a weak hand like me. We both got an order each of boneless wings (10 pieces). We each got two flavors. This place is usually pretty chill and a good place to watch a game. But when I last came here (6/30/24), I was having margs & appetizers and the margaritas came out extremely salty. As if there were a layer of salt on the bottom of the drink. I complained to our server "Papers" (older Hispanic dude) that my drink was salty and he basically told me that since I tasted it, I have to keep it and pay for it. That didn't sit well with me bc I'm a paying customer and the drink was made poorly. I was still willing to pay in exchange for a better drink. I brought it up the female manager / or lead & she was willing to comp or exchange it right away. Meanwhile, I get the bill and he charged me my drink and the drink he "exchanged" me for. Doubling my bill. I brought it up to manager and she was quick to comp out the extra drink. Our server "Papers" gave us a tough time about the whole situation and definitely dampened our night and experience at Rocco's. read more

Rocco's is one of my favorite sports bars. Definitely a great place to go to for happy hour and/or a late dinner when you don't feel like cooking during the week. The buffalo chicken wings are so good and I also recommend the buffalo chicken wrap! read more

I've been going to Rocco's for years and they've NEVER failed me yet!!! I food is seasoned well, the drinks are always on point, the music is Poppin, and the service has been the way service should be! I was craving for chicken wings and thought of a few places, but decided to go to Rocco's because they had happy hour. They only had happy hour for drinks which was basically buy one get one free if you purchase the same drink. Pretty good deal, but honestly the drinks were okay. I mainly ordered specialty drinks because I wanted something fruity and refreshing. However, I probably should of just ordered something on the rocks since the cocktails weren't as good as I thought it would be. In addition, I ordered a 10" deluxe pie (choose up to 5 toppings) for about $16 which was a reasonable price considering that the pizza was really good! Going back to the wings.. they were super tasty! I ordered the 10 piece famous wings and was able to get two different flavors (original hot & hot honey bbq). Both very flavorful with plenty of sauce. Since I came on a Friday afternoon, I felt that they were understaffed. I only saw two people at the front of the house. One of them being the bartender and the other a waitress. I didn't mind the wait since I knew they were a bit busy, however, I did see a couple of people leave before the waitress even got to them. FYI: gratuity is included, NO MATTER HOW LARGE THE PARTY. My husband and I visited for dinner, had to wave down the server multiple times, horrible service. Despite this we were automatically charged gratuity because the check was more than $150. Would not recommend for anything other than happy hour and even then be careful how much you spend. read more

Very enticing happy hour deals with BOGO Drinks. They embrace this deal and even have big cups for double-servings. The food is pretty good too. I enjoyed the wings and pizza. My issue with this place was the wait and service. After being seated, we weren't attended to for at least half an hour. I had to wave down a waiter to get our orders. I would advise not to sit outside. read more

We love Rocco's!!! Best seating is outside if available. Love the mussels! But haven't had a bad meal. Favorite waiter is Johnny Papers(not sure if got that right) Chris is friendliest bartender in town! He pours a drink like I pour at home ;) Cheers! I'm the guy that rides up on the wheel. read more

Moises did his BIG one. He's a STAR. If you want ranch just ask for garlic aioli SOOO good. Hot honey was not spicy at all, don't recommend it. Anyways 2 for 1 is the move. read more

Rocco's food and restaurant is amazing. The pizza, grilled shrimp, and boneless BBQ wings are our favorite. The service is great as well. Our server was Joi and she was very friendly. She hustled, checked on us multiple times, and made sure that we were well taken care of. She had a positive attitude and refilled our drinks many times without us having to ask. read more

Good food and service. Go for happy hour!! Lots of TVs for your favorite sports. The only negative we don't like how they scan your drivers license when you walk in. What kind of info are they storing on their system. They have your credit cards and scan your identification. A little invasive. read more

MOISES!!! One of my favorite servers and one of the reasons I keep coming back! He's always so kind, despite seeing him during rushes, he doesn't let the stress takeover and he always drops off our order with a smile on his face. Chris, the bartender, is one of the kindest guys you'll meet at Rocco's, with each drink being delivered with love and swag , if you're lucky enough, you'll meet Vanessa as well who is one hell of a server. This place used to be FANTASTIC but it has gone DOWN HILL since the pandemic. They make up ridiculous rules and have raised the prices since then with horrendous customer service. I tried to go eat with my family today and they ask for ID to even enter and if you have family that are underaged no one in the party can ask for alcoholic drinks even for those that are 21+ and the person has the audacity to mock us and say that their rules are not absurd. We used to be great supporters of this place since 2017 and were regulars for 3yrs. Each time I went back since 2020 the service is worse and worse. I had never been asked for ID to eat and then denied drinks because we have a minor with us. It's sad to see such a great place go straight to the ground. All they have going for themselves is their wings at this point but I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE. read more

All I'm going to say is check the bill before paying. The waitress tried to charge the card without bringing us the physical check to review. I immediately noticed all the prices that were offered to us were MUCH DIFFERENT than what the bill showed. Example, our pizza was suppose to be 10 dollars and ranch was included. They had the nerve to bring out 3 ranches when I only asked for one. Another table had bought our table 3 shots. The waiter mentioned they were complimentary, yet we got charged Lol I ordered 1 modelo and got charged for 3. I can see why this establishment takes advantage of its drunk customers. One of my favorite lunch and happy hour spots in Old Town Pasadena. It's a couple blocks walking distance from my work, they have good food (mmm hot wings), and you have to love their 2 for 1 drinks specials during happy hour. It's almost always happy hour at Rocco's. WARNING: They have raised their prices and have not changed them on their online menu. So when I go to pick up my order of 30 wings I got to find out that it's nearly double what I'm used to paying. What used to be a $28 order now costs around $50. I was still excited as Rocco's USED to have my favorite wings in Pasadena. However, what I received last night were some of the driest wings I've ever seen. They were practically jerky and rock hard. The bones were burnt and black, take a look at the pictures. So now I have 27 pieces of leather I don't know what to do with. Sad because this place used to be so good. Won't be going back again :( read more

Good atmosphere, decent food, but service that is laughably inadequate. On the afternoon I visited, there were two servers covering the whole room, and it's not small. Those two were also bartending and bussing! It took half an hour for them to tell me they did not have what I originally ordered and another twenty minutes before they asked me my replacement. I guess the owner has decided to extract his profit out of the time of his customers. You have been warned! read more

I tried to de-escalate the situation and respectfully explained that there was no reason to speak to us that way, but he continued the hostility and ultimately told us to "get the fuck out." At that point, I paid for our drinks and we left. What made this especially disappointing is that this has never been our experience here before. We've always enjoyed this bar and have had positive interactions with the regular staff. If this had been my first visit, I would not come back. I understand that what my friend did wasn't appropriate, but it absolutely did not justify being yelled at and cursed out. Our first dining experience at Rocco's Pasadena was truly unfortunate and left us feeling taken advantage of as guests. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that hospitality is not a priority here. The hostess, who is supposed to set the tone for the entire dining experience was unenthusiastic, did not smile, and made no effort to be welcoming. For a small party of 2, she handed us menus and told us to find our own table. At that point, one has to wonder what the purpose of having a host even is. It later became apparent that the hostess was also our server, which unfortunately explained a lot. The service throughout the meal was completely lifeless not a single smile, no engagement, and no sense of urgency or care. To make matters worse, two small 10-inch pizzas took over one hour to arrive. When the check came, the experience went from disappointing to outright frustrating. An automatic 18% gratuity was added to our bill for a party of only two despite the extremely poor service. While this policy is apparently mentioned on the menu, it does not make it acceptable. I typically tip a generous 20%-25% when service is good and deserved. On top of that, we were informed that any check over $150 is also subject to automatic gratuity, regardless of service quality. Gratuity should always be at the discretion of the guest, not forced through policy. To add insult to injury, a non-cash transaction fee was also added simply for paying with a credit card. Between mandatory gratuity and additional fees, the entire experience felt driven by greed rather than hospitality. The beautiful city of Pasadena has hundreds of incredible restaurants to choose from, many of which truly value their guests and take pride in service. Don't waste your time or your money at Rocco's Pasadena. Unfortunately, this was a very poor first impression, and we will not be returning. read more

I had a really frustrating experience at Rocco's Tavern with a group of three. It took about 15 minutes just to place our order, even though the restaurant was less than half full. After that, things only got worse. We waited nearly an hour with no food and no updates. We finally had to flag someone down and ask about our order--only then did one plate come out about 10 minutes later. The other two meals didn't arrive until another 20+ minutes after that. By the time everything finally showed up, my burger was completely cold. On top of that, the patty literally crumbled apart after the first bite. No one checked on us during the entire wait or after the food was dropped off. The service felt completely inattentive and disorganized. Between the excessive wait times, poor communication, and low food quality, this was a very disappointing visit. We took a sports loving client to this newly opened establishment to catch a playoff game. They pride themselves on their food which is a good mix of Italian/ appetizers/ burgers & sandwiches/ pub grub and salads. We got the wings which come in your choice of many flavors (all yummy) the artichoke, and a pizza. The pizza was very good and not heavy or greasy. We were stuffed, but had to try the brownie dessert, it was so good we managed to polish it off too.They have a full bar with great drinks as well as good beer selection. For watching a game there is not a bad seat in the house with probably two dozen T.V.s on three walls. What it is: A fun place with tasty food to watch a game with your friends or make some new ones. Looks like it would be a good place to grab a lunch too. What it is not: A quiet place for a romantic dinner. read more

Hey there! I was on the hunt for a late-night dining spot in Pasadena and stumbled upon Rocco's Tavern. Guess what? They're open till 2 AM! I've dined at their Westwood location and was eager to give this one a try. The best part? You can enjoy the outdoor seating as it's heated, and the restaurant has open windows too. Plus, they have TVs all around the walls so you can catch up on your favorite sports while you indulge in some delicious food. Our server, John, was amazing and offered us excellent service throughout the night. Great spot to watch your favorite game or for a hanging out to catch up with friends. Bartenders Rob and Chris are the best behind the bar.
