The food arrived ice cold and thrown around inside the box. I was missing the ranch and chips. When I called for a refund they were ignorant and refused to refund my money. Ordered a large Deluxe pizza, a side Caesar and a Cannoli. Pizza was hot and fresh. It wasn't a crispy crust, but it was very tasty with a good amount of toppings. The marinara dipping sauce that came with it was a bit sweet for us. Salad was good. Cannoli was pricey ($3.50 for one small Cannoli). Small dining area, but it looks like takeout is their main business. It's been around since 1968, so it must be doing something right. Don't let the exterior appearance turn you away (grass next to the restaurant needed mowing). read more

I love this place! Great food and awesome service. It's nothing fancy, it's small and clean. Our waitress , (Carly) was very knowledgeable about the food. She said the calzones were the best in Springfield (they were the best!). We also had lasagna and pizza. Many of the items like the lasagna and sauces are made in house. Went by for lunch for the first time with my fam today. What a spectacular joint in the heart of Springfield! It was very, very clean... friendly service from a great staff, well decorated... great parking. Lunch crowd was bustling with families and professionals. Had a very "Neighborhood" feel to it. Had lunch calzones that were made with authentic crusts and sauces. Loved them! We even were welcomed by the owner, Phillip, who was a great joy to meet. Great Gluten Free pizza!! I have celiac and have not found a really delicious gf pizza. This one is so good. They avoid cross contamination. The sauce and toppings are great. The crust is so good - not soggy! Usually I have ended up just scraping the cheese and toppings off the crust to eat because the crust taste bad, but I eat the whole pizza here. My kids and husband really like the regular pizza and calzones here as well. So nice to eat pizza again! read more

I don't really like New York style (and thin crusts in general), I must admit that Rocco's is good quality. Their sausage is some of the best I've had here in town. I'd prefer the topping coverage to be a little more substantial, but I'm not sure that super-thin crust could handle it. The pizza seems larger in pictures. However, due to the thinness of it, the pizza is much smaller in reality. I suppose this is the way it is meant to be--New York style. It's so thin, you need to eat a lot more of it to be satisfied. I suppose that's OK. [Be prepared for their less-than-spacious parking though. I saw some cowboy hat-wearing numbskull park his pickup truck to the left of a row of stalls, blocking part of the entry way. In town a lot for work but haven't order delivery yet. The front desk ladies said it was the best in the area, so why not. I got a medium meat lovers and it was great. Crust was not to thick or thin and plenty of toppings. Plenty of pepperoni, bacon, ham and steak. It was a little greasy but what good pizza isn't. Next time I'm here I'll try the calzone. read more

Hey Rocco's, when you deliver a pizza and salad to a hotel you may want to include some napkins....and some parm or red pepper packets.....and a fork!!! Other than that, the pizza was pretty darn good, the salad certainly wasnt anything special (of course eating w your fingers makes any salad somewhat less enjoyable) and the delivery more or less on time. read more

Pizza does not get much better than the pizza that comes out of Rocco's. This restaurant is one of the hidden gems of Springfield and continues to impress me every time I go. Nothing on the menu is bad, the staff is really laid back and chill, and the atmosphere is very hole in the wall. I always get excited for the Alphredo Pepperoni pizza here. Went there my first time on a Friday night, it was busy but I still got my pizza really fast. The staff was over the top friendly and it is a really cozy place. We tried this place n a whim one night. One of those nights where neither one of us felt like cooking after working all day, and they were just down the street from our house. We ordered the hot subs, and the kids had a couple of their pasta dishes, and we all enjoyed it. They were decent priced, so the next time we didn't feel like cooking we tried them again. This time we ordered a small pizza for the kids, and a medium for us, and again we were very satisfied. The orders were always correct, and the people on the phone and in the store when we picked up our orders, were friendly and helpful. The place was clean, so that was a plus too. It was a nice change up from Dominoes, Pizza Hut, and Papa Murphy's. The definitely earned a spot in our rotation when ever we feel like ordering pizza. read more

While I am normally a big fan of Rocco's today was the exception. We used grub hub and ordered on line for the first and last time. The order went in wrong so we asked for a correction in arrival a few minutes later. They refused saying the order was already cooking. So we ordered the correct item. I can only say it was not surprising that it did not happen. There seemed to be a staff issue with arguing in the kitchen. Left without correct order. read more

The crust on the pizza that we got was very thin. So thin that it wouldn't even hold the toppings on. But all in all, it tastes good and that's what counts. It's definitely better than the big franchises but it isn't the best I've ever had or even the best in town in my opinion. Definitely worth a try if you're just looking for a different place to go though. read more

This place takes the cake for the Springfield. I only order large cheese pizzas because when it comes to hand made thin crusts these people do it correctly. I have ordered from the Rocco's on Division St in Springfield MO several times for delivery to my place of work and every single time the order is incorrect. We always order lunch specials and call a few minutes after 11am which is when they open, to place the order. We either get incorrect food orders, missing food or missing drinks etc. After the first couple times this happened when I would call to place an order I would tell them I have never received a correct delivery order and beg them to make sure it's right. They either promise to do so or blow me off. It had been several months since the last order and we decided to try again....and once again it was wrong. I ordered the calzone lunch special with ham and mushroom but got pizza instead. Thankfully the rest of the order was correct and they did get the toppings right. I love the food but gave them a one star because of the lack of concern for getting delivery orders correct is appalling. Please advise the staff that delivery orders are just as important as dine in orders and a customer shouldn't have to beg for a correct order every time they call. read more
