She's also a great educator and teaches prenatal and postpartum classes at Willow once a month. Her Tempe office is located in the building complex right next to Embassy Suites in a picturesque setting. You'll go up stairs or take the elevator to the second floor where her suite is. The space is such a tranquil, peaceful place to relax and unwind. Each room has complete privacy and although the complex is along a busy street (Rural Rd) you don't hear any of the traffic going by. I've had several treatments with Kari Ann, including a gua sha treatment and amazing acupressure treatments in conjunction with acupuncture and after each appointment I've left feeling better and a lot more relaxed. You know you're at a good place when you start dozing off in the middle of your treatment! In the past I had acupuncture done but in a community setting where it was harder to get comfortable due to all the other people in the room so I definitely feel that acupuncture in a private setting is the way to go in my situation. Rates are reasonable and she does offer discounts for prepaid packages which is a nice little perk. Kari Ann is also such a wealth of knowledge about nutrition and other health care providers that offer related services. I've gotten some good recommendations on books and referrals to other health care specialists from her!
