I had the opportunity to work with Miranda and her team. The care and encouragement I received was amazing. I wasn't just a number. If I needed to be there beyond my appointment, the therapists would continue to work with me. I was never rushed out the door. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I may have been in pain, but they always had me laughing and motivated me throughout my recovery. The goal was to reach "functional" range of motion. I am happy to report that in just a few months, I have "full" range of motion back.

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

My wife and I had been using this location for a few years and found the therapists to be very…read moregood. However, we found the business side of the company not to act in professional manner. We were told in writing they are a Tier 1 provider for our insurance company but claims were being processed as a Tier 2 provider. When we confronted the regional director we were told again in writing not to worry and the account would adjusted. The difference between the Tier 1 and Tier 2 was only $35 dollars. To make a long story short they took us to collection for $35 dollars. This was not cool at all. We are informing our PCP and will request his guidance to find another company to continue our treatment.

My experience with the Nelson Pediatric Therapy office was easily the best I have had when dealing with healthcare. Clarysa in Records is who I have coordinated with the most, and she is rad. Super responsive.. calls me, emails me.. She makes sure all my questions are answered. She kicks butt at her job, and my life is a little easier for it. Nelson is blessed to have her, and if the treatment is any reflection of how their front office is run, then I will be satisfied. I was then finally able to get in contact with a clerk I asked her if there were any openings with the PT he already sees and she said yes and schedules me. We arrive to his appointment and it was with a totally different PT. During his therapy she talked the entire time and didn't work with him.

She works with Lenley when we have OT who is fantastic with her and also always has great ideas for home activities to help reach goals! For speech she has improved immensely and everyone around us has noticed how much she has improved in such a short time. My daughter adores attending classes and gets excited, even asks if we can go on weekends. I only give a 4 star rating due to scheduling and office staff. There have been 2 times now that we have been on our way to class and we got a call 10 minutes prior informing us that class was canceled due to lack of personnel. I do completely understand that and that people have to call in some days. However our classes are a few hours after opening, and I have a 45-50 min drive on top of a 3 year old who has a melt down for the rest of the day when we have to leave the parking lot without attending her loved class. So an hour prior at least would be very appreciated. Also the front staff always seem very upset, I've seen them shake their heads at kids being a little excited or roll their eyes and I've only seen one smile maybe once.... It is also very hard to get in touch with anyone. I've in the past tried to call it was very difficult as there is not individual numbers for each location, just one number for the company so that can make it hard for communication. My daughter came down with a fever the morning of one of her classes and I understand the 24 hour notice and have never canceled same day in the past before. But if my daughter wakes up a 102 fever in a pandemic I think it's in the best interest not to attend. I spoke with one guy who then informed me if I canceled same day again he would remove me as a client. I was shocked. This was my first same day cancellation that wasn't canceled by them themselves and we have always had pretty good attendance. We scheduled a make up class and he was just very unpleasant to talk to. I then stressed out since I know how much my daughter loves her classes and they are helping so much not wanting them to be called I decided to call again to make sure she wasn't removed. Thankfully Ben answered and he confirmed we have had great attendance and cleared up what the misunderstanding must have been. So my daughter still had her classes and there was a misinterpretation about the policy for removing a client for a same day cancelation, in my case we were in the clear.
