I loved my sessions and everything I learned from Dr. Allyson Collen at Orthopedic Sports Therapy…read more I went in with a couple of scripts from my primary doc, one for my shoulder, and one for the pelvic floor. Every 1/2 hour session is one-on-one. We covered not only exercises for each body part in its turn, but also the reasoning behind what we we doing. Theory and practice. I appreciate understanding 'why', as it helps me be more conscious about my movements as I go through my day. I have all the exercises on the portal Allyson created for me, each with a short video to help my recall when I'm working at home, and a brief synopsis of which muscles I should engage, and what I should feel as I do each exercise. I am in part a visual learner, so when Allyson got her plastic pelvis to show me layers of muscles, it helped put the pieces together in my mind so I can better visualize what I should be accomplishing with the work we were doing, and that I continue to do. We covered occupational exercises as well, such as learning the stance and proper muscles to use when picking up a box, or how to get off the floor with less difficulty and more grace. How often does one say that they love going to Physical Therapy? I do! I look forward to going back to Allyson and Orthopedic Sports Therapy in the fall for continued work. Additionally, the staff is super, and the office is welcoming and has a great vibe!

The staff and therapists at 360 Therapy is way better than all the therapist I've seen in my career. Alex, not only helps me heal physically, he has also helped me heal emotionally by explaining what I am going through. He is also a good listener. He tries to reassure that everything will be okay and boosts my confidence by showing and telling me how I improved. Matt, is always a pleasure to work with. His humor keeps me going and calms my nervousness about what am going through. He shows genuine concern with not only me, but also the other clients there too. Paul is really knowledgeable about my condition. His insight is unmatched. I'm 52 years old and I have never had my neck cracked. After he did it one time, I can tell you that it's the best feeling I've ever had. I actually kinda wished my neck was cracked everyday. Amanda is really concerned about my progress. She measures my grip all the time and pushes me to do more every session. And my grip has significantly improved. She was also kind enough to get me a traction for my neck, even though I've never asked for. It's really helping me at home when I do my exercises. Today I felt happy coz the receptionists knows my name. Most medical people just see you as patients and nothing else. They are so easy to work with when it comes to scheduling and they are very accommodating and pleasant. Going back to my 22 years in the medical field what sets the staff here above the rest, is in one word, empathy. After my session I was in the parking lot and the guy said, aren't they great. I replied, yeah they're amazing!!! And just in case you are wondering who is this Kai reviewing us, it's Clarence. The Asian guy. Hahaha. I guess it goes without saying, this 360 location in Tempe comes highly recommended. 5 stars is not nearly enough for what they do for you.

The three techs there at the time were really cool folks and worked their magic getting me back up and running. I thought I'd check them out today about getting some more flexability, etc in my old body...It did not go well. They ask me intially and today do I have insurance and I said I would just rather pay cash. So on their forms they wrote no insurance. I,looking over the forms, wrote in I do have insurance I just prefer to pay cash. Sometimes insurance is just not worth piddling with. When I get to the front counter with their forms, they saw my corrections and asked 'you do have insurance?' I'm say yes I do have insurance I just prefer to pay cash for this. Then she starts with 'well if you have insurance we can't give you the pay cash rate which is $80 per session. We'd have to charge you a lot more like $300 a session.' Of course I asked why? She just said I wanna pay cash and I have insurance they have to charge me more. That makes no sense. So I said 'I lie to you and tell you I have no insurance it's $80 but since I corrected your form and told you the truth that I do have insurance, I just prefer to pay cash, now you're saying it's not $80 it'll be $300+? Make that make sense. I look at her and I say so if I lie to you it'll be $80? She says well now she knows I have insurance so it's be the $300+ if I still want to pay cash. By now I'm tweakin'. I never said I don't have insurance. I simply said I'll pay cash the entire time from the initial conversation forward. But since I was honest and corrected their form to say I do have insurance but I still prefer to pay cash, now they're saying it's $300 a visit or use my insurance. I ask why and she shrugged the ole 'I dunno'. I stood there perplexed trying to figure out are they trying to scam me or scam the insurance? If $80 bucks is ok as a cash payment, it should be ok for everyone. I told her to shred my forms and walked out. If you have a policy and can't explain it to the consumer, that's a bullshit policy.

Bill is by far the most amazing therapist I have ever encountered. My wife had a total knee replacement, and I have had three surgeries to reconstruct my feet. I don't know where we would be without the gentle encouragement and knowledge of the human body that Bill Kentopp puts to use every day. Some physical therapists give you some exercises to do and sit back as you struggle through, as if they were afraid to touch you. Not so at Succeed Physical Therapy. Here the treatment is very much hands-on. Bill inspires other therapists and PT techs to do what he does. With good humor, compassion, and infinite patience as well as awesome knowledge, he guides every hurting patient through the difficult journey of recovering strength, movement, and well-being. He has a servant heart. It's so amazing to see him never hesitate to do tasks that PT should have done and overlooked. There is never public correction, which would be humiliating to the tech. She was unable to walk, was in constant pain and was using a wheelchair. When her cast came off we attended Foothills and Lindsay started to work with my daughter. At first it was hard. My daughter resisted because of the nerve pain around her ankle. Lindsay was understanding but encouraging and she didn't let my kid slack. She set goals for my daughter, she asked questions and got to know her. Lindsay used all of her knowledge and explained things in a way my daughter could understand. My daughter finally got why she was being challenged, and she decided to want to be active in her recovery insted of fighting it because of the pain. Lindsay was great at finding ways to get Lena to allow her to touch her ankle, and in the pain she was in that was a big deal! Linsay has a way of listening to her, acknowledging her but still finding a way to encourage Lena to try. Lena loves Lindsay, she looks forward to her PT. In few months Lena went from wheelchair to crutches. Carlos worked with her and he got her to move by being creative, and playing balloon toss! Lena started putting weight on her foot becauseof that game...then a few more weeks of PT she allowed us to put on her brace. The first time she walked with Lindsay I cried, because it had been so long in that wheelchair and I was relieved that they were able to help her. She's getting better everyday. Now she's walking and doing lunges and jumping, balancing, pushups, dancing! She wears her brace, but soon she will be back to normal with no brace. Thanks to Lindsay, Carlos, Daniel, and the rest of the staff that is so fun and friendly. From the reception staff, to all the therapists. All are welcoming and they care. I paid almost $300 for an initial assessment. I waited painfully in the waiting room seeing the staff talking amongst themselves while they were doing treatments. One staff member was using the patient machines. My assigned physical therapist finally came to greet me 20 minutes after my appointment start time. He looked me over for about 5 minutes then put me onto exercises. The whole time I was doing them, he was talking personal patient information with another staff member right in front of me. He wandered around chattering with the other staff. Not paying any attention to me to see if I was doing my exercises correctly or needed guidance. Even while he was massaging my back I could see him gesturing to another staff member while I was talking to him. I paid good money to come get one on one care to improve my acute back pain, to only receive the complete opposite. I ended up canceling all my future appointments to go to a different facility. The receptionist was so kind when I called to cancel that I didn't have the heart to tell her the real reason I didn't want to return. I was going to let it be. Then I received an additional bill stating I owed more money for that absolutely terrible assessment! I couldn't believe it. It saddens me to see that this is an acceptable level of care and service at this facility by licensed practitioners. I hope the managers see this and try to improve for any future pain suffers that may come to your facility.
