I see a lot of rave reviews on this practice and if it was about upbeat and friendly people then they warrant 4 or 5 stars. But if you are looking for personal treatment, an at-home treatment plan and a calm atmosphere, this is not the place. It is large and loud with blaring (often annoying) music, a gym-style environment with an assembly line approach to treatment. Most of the time you are one of 8 to 12 people on one of the many tables lined up in double rows. Behind the tables is a ledge where clipboards are set. The "doctor" you are assigned to may spend 10 minutes with you out of the 60 to 90 minutes you are there. All the rest of the care is done by techs and assistants. Behind you someone calls out, "what's next for ______?" You are given an exercise and then the assistant runs off to the next person. When you finish what you are doing, you sit or lay there until someone notices you need to do the next item. All the while the music is so loud it is hard to hear yourself think. Many of the chairs in the lobby are so rump-sprung that they are hard to get out of. Combine that with an injury that makes it hard to leverage yourself out of the seat and it is problematic. The place doesn't feel that clean, maybe because of the gym-like environment. If you want personal treatment, people who work with you one on one during your appointment time and a plan that you can take home to work on, I'd suggest somewhere else. After a few visits to Pritchette, I made the change and have been very happy with my decision. UPDATE: I read with interest the review by the lady who was sent a medical lien after her son visited the practice. We were the recipients of the same. Not knowing what this was about, we asked someone who knows. I would highly recommend that each person educate themselves on this issue. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. Everyone really listened to me explain my issue, demonstrated the exercises, and answered all the questions I had. The PTs made an effort to understand the sport I play (curling) and how the delivery position puts stress on the knees. They encouraged me to keep up with curling and my regular workouts as long as the pain stayed below a 5. The exercises they prescribed helped me learn how to rely on my glutes, quads, and hamstrings to take stress off my knees. I know they helped because I was eventually able to do single-leg step-down exercises--I felt my strength progressing every week I did them. I had the autonomy to work my program on my own, but it was clear that someone always had an eye on me--they would comment if they saw something I was doing incorrectly or had a way to improve my form for an exercise. I like their model of involving as many of the assistants and techs as possible in patient care. I got to know almost everyone there on my first visit--it's nice to be familiar with all the people who might assist you. The PT staff and the staff at the front desk are all very friendly and helpful. Their billing manager even helped me figure out an issue when my insurance changed in the middle of my treatment. read more

I found Pritchette from my son's health insurance site. He went to his first appointment on May 24,2023 and his second on May 26, 2023 and I paid the $25 insurance co-pay both times. He saw a student who was graduating from ASU the next week, both times. We actually really liked him. I just checked my mail June 4, 2023 and on May 26th they filed and sent a Lien letter to my 18 year old son for $250!!! We have not been contacted about payment or lack there of, or the insurance denying him or anything ... we HAVE BEEN CALLED TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, however! We were recommended by a friend for massages. They have 3 different misuses and each have their unique style, open during nights and weekends makes it awesome for our busy work schedules. My wife recently suffered a work injury. We decided to come here for her physical therapy 3 times a week. They have the latest in technology but their greatest asset is the staff, (Janice, Jesse, Sarah, Charice and of course Keith) so great and work so well as a team. they are so enthusiastic and push my wife, in a good way. Spoke to them on Friday 6/22/18 hoping to start physical therapy on my surgically repaired knee as soon as possible, was even willing to start that day but they didn't have anything available. The woman I spoke to said they could get me in first thing Monday and offered two different times so I chose the earliest one at 9:15. I show up at 9:00 am only to be told that I don't have an appointment that day but on Wednesday instead. I never would have agreed to a Wednesday appointment because I wanted to get stated ASAP! They had no reasonable solution other than to come back Wednesday so I left and made an appointment elsewhere. I don't have the time or patience to deal with people who can't keep their scheduling straight. And three days later... never received a phone call to try and get my business back or even just an apology. I guess they don't need my business! read more

Keith, it took you 6 years to respond to my review which, in of itself, is telling. Perhaps you could show me your records because when I mentioned to you that I allegedly suffered an injury while under your "care" you stated that I was 8 weeks into recovery, which I wasn't. It was coming up on 6 weeks and I was then instructed that I shouldn't have been doing that exercise, the exercise you supposedly instructed your assistants to have me do. I'll give you the opportunity to prove me wrong because when I asked for my records you personally told me you didn't keep detailed records, you kept everything in your head. You had way too many patients at one time and you were unable to give me the attention I needed and deserved. You were aware of my injury because I showed you how my shoulder was clicking and locking up and you told me, in your infinite wisdom, to stop moving my arm like that. You never admitted any responsibility and never offered an apology. I still struggle every day and I'm in pain due to an unsuccessful repeat surgery after my injury. My bicep tendon is now torn (no direct responsibility to what I allege happened while under your care) and nerve pain radiates down my entire arm. The only thing that alleviates this pain is a cortisone injection, the last two being on Christmas Eve. I understand this is my opinion or allegation and you are welcome and expected to defend yourself and your reputation. What I have described is the truth. I have never asked you for compensation for my alleged injury because I would hold the burden of proof which is unattainable. I will say, however, this was an unfortunate life changing incident and my life has never been close to the same since my surgically repaired left shoulder was re-injured. *I use the words allegedly and supposedly at the direction of my lawyer so as to avoid any claims of libel. This is my truth and, obviously, there are two sides to every story. read more

In these very dangerous times of the pandemic, this place is one to STAY AWAY FROM. When I entered for my pre-op physical therapy session, there were about 10 people exercising, along with the receptionist sitting at the front desk. No one was wearing a mask. I asked about why they weren't taking precautions, but, it was obvious that they were clueless about the dangers of spreading viruses. It is mostly fine to not wear a mask outside, unless you are in a crowd of people, but inside is a different story. Viruses can spread through an entire huge room on microscopic particles. And, then on top of that, people exercising shed huge amounts of viruses compared to people sitting or standing. The risk of being in that room without taking precautions is extreme! And, the impression I got was that they didn't understand the nature of being contagious and didn't seem to care. And, they claim to be a healthcare facility! They are more like a hot spot waiting to burst open. FOR YOUR SAKE AND THE SAKE OF OTHERS, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. read more

Excellent is the first word I can think of when it comes to this place. I came in Initially for personal training with Seth. He's great too by the way. I've always had tender knees and made working out difficult. After our workout I mentioned to the Dr, that's located and the same location , that my knees were hurting when I did certain exercises he suggested I come in for evaluation. I do NOT have insurance and I'm visiting from CA. The prices are very reasonable and well worth the time and effort Dr Pritchette and his staff took with me. I was referred to this facility by Integrated Orthopedics (thank you, Gretchen Post, PA-C!) in North Phoenix, and I was very impressed, right from the initial phone call to make an appointment. Got right through and was able to set up first appointment within a few days. Keith Pritchette, the owner and PT, spent a considerable amount of time with me on Day 1, having already reviewed the X-Rays, MRIs, reports, etc. that I brought with me, asking relevant questions and exhibiting a keen knowledge of my lumbar issues and the appropriate treatment of same. I have been to physical therapy many times in my life, but this clinic offered some modalities that were new to me, and very effective, as well as gradually introducing me to a comprehensive home exercise program. All this being said, the proof is in the pudding, as they say, and I was very gratified to notice improvement in my symptoms after just one day of treatment. This immediate positive feedback creates more incentive to be consistent with your home exercise program and scheduled physical therapy sessions, thus maintaining a constant sense of improvement. I broke my shoulder in early December of last year. Depressed and not looking forward to months of physical therapy, my doctor referred me to Pritchette Physical Therapy. I was happy to find out it was in Ahwatukee and that I wouldn't have to travel far, but I can say now that even if it wasn't nearby I would still come here for any physical therapy. Rehab Plus is an excellent facility with every piece of exercise equipment imaginable from tread mills, boxing, pull sleds, hurdles and tire pounding. Rehab Plus has body rehabilitation PT, as well gym patrons. Owner Keith Pritchette (PT, DPT) is very well trained with all aspects of the body's muscles, joints and their repair. Keith has a staff that works together as a team with excellent attitudes and results. The staff makes you feel as if you are part of the family not to mention the music is also good. IMPRESSIVE. I started 10 years ago at Rehab Plus before they opened this location. I was so excited that my favorite therapist Keith was opening a location near me. I have really been excited about the ahwatukee locations quality of care however, the services they offer encompass so much more wellness than any other pt place PERIOD. I don't go there for only injuries, I can train with top notch trainers that really understand my body's injuries while still being safely challenge. A gym trainer was the cause of one of rehab stints. They offer water therapy Pilates and yoga too. So I go there for those other services instead of the gym because the people who work there are all humble gracious and over qualified. I am amazed to have a training session with Elena that's tuff and learn about professional dietician strategies for helping me at the same time. I met the Pilates instructor Revonne 12 years ago at a local gym as a yoga and Pilates instructor. Her sessions at rehab are a zen-like work out. Hard work but full of positivity. Just another example of how this place will exceed your expectations and offered extras you won't find anywhere else. I had foot surgery and afterwards had a complication that held me back from getting physical therapy. Once things were a little better, it was time to head to PT. A friend referred me to Pritchette Physical Therapy. It's always a little daunting to get started with a program of any kind, but I can truly say that from the minute I got to Pritchette I felt comfortable and cared for. Beyond that, they challenged me! And I needed that! I was used to babying myself for months, so while they worked within my capabilities, they offered me exercises each time that added onto the previous sessions, and they knew when I was ready for it. The result is that I am so much stronger and so much more confident than I was before their services. Today was my last day and I can honestly say I'm going to miss those guys! What a great group!!!
