Time in the waiting room is minimal, I'm called back and seen when my appointment is supposed to be, and the Dr. shows up and addresses my injury, offers treatment options and plans for recovery. Through some MRI scheduling and some procedures involving ultrasound assisted cortisone injections I'm well on my way to recovery now with a Physical Therapist Dr. Rich recommended. The entire staff has been friendly and communicative through the whole process and I'm very happy with my treatment and Dr. Rich's care.

The closest Clinica La Familia office is in Casa Grande, 1 1/2 hour away. But the staff is super friendly. Front desk, helpers?, nurses, PA. My assigned PA is amazing and I am so grateful for the care I get. YES, waiting time can be way off. I had a 11:20 AM appointment, showed up 20 minutes early, was brought in 1 1/2 hour later and had to wait for another 20 minutes for the PA to show up. Later, for my blood work, the young lady was super new and she kept checking my forearm. I am one of these guys my veins are huge and pulsing in my forearms. But she did super well and I didn't feel anything. Less than 24 hours later, I got the results from the blood and urine tests. The office in Casa Grande is 1 1/2 hour away from my place. Yes, It is going to take some time there in waiting. But overall, It is so worth it for the care I actually get.

This office later went and double billed my insurance by submitting a claim almost 2 weeks after my visit. This is medical fraud. Their demographic clientele is Hispanic people, I can only imagine how they take advantage of these people in need of medical services. If you visit this place, inform yourself on what they can and can't do.

Dr. Hatfield did a full knee replacement on me a few years back and he was fantastic. I loved that he was honest and upfront about what to expect--so many doctors sugar coat things (i.e. severe pain is not the same thing as "discomfort"). I healed up beautifully and went on my merry way. Now that my other knee is acting up, I'm back. I have full faith in Dr Hatfield's advice and care. He is not the doctor who insists you have a consultation first then sends you for X-rays then had you come back again for treatment. He had me get X-rays first then come in one time. He looked at them, diagnosed, and gave me my cortisone shot all in one quick visit. No nonsense! His staff is also very kind, knowledgeable, and caring.

Dr Purcell did amazing work on my shoulder, and his staff has gone way beyond what is required of them. I had problems with other places, imaging, labs, things like that, and they were so quick to get on the phone and fix all those problems even though it wasn't their fault, just to make sure i was taken care of. They even delivered to my house, a pneumatic cryo shoulder brace, because they thought it would help with my pain and recovery. To my house, they personally brought it to my house and showed me how to use it! While my Physical Therapist was personally very kind and attentive, I would only work with her for about 10-15 minutes per session and was then passed on to the assistants who were NOT attentive. They would give me my exercises to complete but rather than staying and ensuring I was doing them correctly would run to another patient and work with them, and then I would be sitting there for several minutes inbetween exercises waiting for the assistant to come back. I came three weeks in a row and every week was like this-the facility just seemed like they had too many patients scheduled at once and not enough employees to properly take care of all the patients. As someone who has done physical therapy at several facilities over the years I was disappointed in my care and would not recommend coming here. I gave it a two because I liked my physical therapist but if it wasn't for her I would give this facility a one.

After getting two treatments from another PT place, I was referred by a friend to Matt at Foothills and I'm extremely grateful Matt squeezed me in to help me with my shoulder injury, doctors wanted to do surgery but Matt suggested PT along with dry needles/deep tissue massage and it's worked out AMAZING. Talk about night and day difference between PT places, I'd definitely return if I had another injury. The care here from Matt and others is top notch. The facility is clean and orderly, up to date machines and every kind of item needed for exercises for any injury. This office also runs ON TIME, there is never any waiting or wasted time during treatments, very important to me. Totally recommend Foothills PT on Val Vista and definitely see Matt Midkiff.
