Don't go. I had extreme pain after surgery for a torn meniscus. He kept shutting me up when i had questions. He refused to do any followup tests. From another doctor's MRI I learned that there was a fracture in the knee, as well as arthritis. He also left a floating fragment in the knee. I might need a knee replacement. The care I received from Dr. Eifler after the surgery was unacceptable. read more

lousy and rude and staffed by twits dr.eifler is a pompous ass and didn't even look at my film's or medical records.. well, that's what i thought,the receptionist is the worst and will not own up to her mistakes and let doctor just think you'd wasted his valuable time and no showed two appointments and that's absolutely not true.i showed up for the follow up appointment half hour early hoping to get in sooner because of the fact it was my anniversary and first time ever my husband in seven years planned on anything about it.and made romantic plans.she said it was my appointment the friday before it was now monday and i had the original note she had written it on with me ,i said why didn't anyone call me id have been there and so i came on my anniversary 45 min.from home and wasted all the fuel to not get seen.well the dr.is already left for a surgical procedure and your going to have to set another appointment well you better put what happened in the notes and i am not being held responsible for your not contacting me about the change.so on way to the next appt date and time 20 min.away my truck break caliper and rotor on back of my dully mega cab completely came apart and wedged in-between the two wheels.and the public bus heading that way 15 minutes away by car just went by chandler another in min.30 minutes away so i called office and explained what happened and i would expect to be by bus hour away.no cant i take cab.i had already missed the previous appt.no i don't have the money to do that.she said id have to rxl..i said i guess were even ,actually i wasnt at fault eithet time.and dr was livid and didnt to t me at all ,said i was fine wasted his time and milking work comp.come to find out my lawyer office never sent over any of my case medical records and images or surgery reports and only thing he seen was a tendon repair on my bicept. and nothing about me being a field service technician for hvac service call's and what the job requires or entails.so he.closed my case and released me 100 percent no restrictions.i had previously surgery where they removed the 14 cm end of my collarbone and i had fought all 12 yrs to get to go back to work as hvac service agent i was first woman in az to be in the field and let alone with degree in hvac. read more

Dr Eifler took care of me urgently regardless of issues with my insurance, gave me a functional brace for my wrist fracture and enabled me to continue working that very evening (I'm a professional acrobat and my work is essential to my livelihood). Cannot thank him enough and I am beyond grateful that I ended up at his office by chance (I somehow had his office number in my phone when I was struggling to find a doctor urgently). I went to see Dr. Eifler for an elbow issue to find that he didn't deal with elbow issues which is odd. Instead he suggested I'd get a MRI and referred me to another orthopedic surgeon who was not in my network. Didn't even offer a diagnosis. Wasted my time and his assistant was not friendly. I'm taking the time to leave a review in the hope that my experience will help the next person, just the way reading reviews from other patients has helped me. I suffered from a sudden severe pain in my leg and knee. After a couple of doctor's appointments, I received a diagnosis from MRI: meniscus tear. While I waited to see the orthopedic surgeon referred by my doctor, I started reading about what a meniscus tear is and why was I in so much pain. I came to the web page azorthopedic.com and clicked on "Pain Condition." I continued researching and came upon Dr. Eifler's YouTube video about my condition. I read most of his reviews and decided to call his office. The receptionist, Ember, was very nice on the phone, and after I explained her the pain that I been in for the last three weeks, she gave me the first opening she could manage (two days before my referred orthopedic appointment). I took it immediately! I thought to myself, "If Dr Eifler is too good to be true, then I will just have my second opinion in two days." I went to the his Scottsdale office terrified because I thought for sure that I would need surgery. The receptionist who greeted us was very welcoming and friendly, and Dr Eifler came prepared to my appointment. He read my notes, reviewed my MRI, and did a physical examination on my leg and knee. Very knowledgeably, he explained my condition and treatment. I was thrilled because surgery was not recommended! The next day I started physical therapy and will be continuing for six weeks. I was sent to another doctor by my primary and thought this is a production mill, the doctor didn't seem to care or listen. Then I did my own research and found Dr. Eifler and so happy I did. I had major reconstructive shoulder surgery and I'm progressing well and going to be 100%. I can't say enough good things about this doctor. Sorry for auto correct on previous post. Dr. Eifler did my knee replacement surgery four weeks ago. Staff works together for a common goal of excellence. I was made comfortable and had any questions answered. The Diginty Specialty Hospital on Sight in Chandler is A fine facility. I walked the first day. Second day was difficult to slow me down. Nurses were top notch. Most everyone was friendly and focused on getting you the patient to better health. Dr. Either is skilled, up on new technology and has a kindness in his bedside manner. Dr. Eifler has treated both my knees and shoulder in the past 2 years. Recently, while in Aruba on vacation, my wife broke her wrist. I immediately contacted Dr. Eifler and he came in on his day off, had my wife's wrist x-ray'd, and scheduled surgery for 4 days later. I had an appointment scheduled and I am a new patient with a knee injury, so I arrived 20 minutes early in case I missed something in my paperwork. They took my copay up front. I had cash to pay but they didn't want to give me cash back and said that I could just apply it to my insurance. I refused and paid with my back card instead. They took me into a room where I waited 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. During this time several other patients had been seen and left. So I left the room and stated to the girls at the desk that I shouldn't have to wait that long when I had been early and already waited another 20 minutes. I asked for my money back. They did say they would refund me (I'll be checking my back account), I should have just given them the cash off is known I was going to have to wait so long. The only nice thing I can say is that at least I got my refund and the girl at the desk was nice about it. This definitely doesn't set a good experience for a new patient. Looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I've seen Dr . Eifler twice for my knee...The 1st he gave me a steroid and that lasted almost 4 months...Almost 3 months ago I went back to get another shot after waiting almost a hour he told me about a shot that would last 6 months or longer...I said let's do it and he said I would here back from my insurance in a few weeks...So after dealing with my 3rd party provider, which is another issue, I called to talk to the Dr. about which other product I could use because the one he suggested to use my provider didn't cover...I left a message with his assistant and 4 days latter she called me back to tell me that my provider won't cover the shot..I told her I knew that and told her there were other brands they will cover and that all the Dr had to do was contact them. Another 2 days went by then my provider said they found one that They will cover...Of course it's 1200.00 which I'm not paying...Now Im waiting for his assistant to get back to me, going on 2 days now, so I can get them to send a prescription to a Canadian pharmacy that I found for where the shots cost 240... After almost 3 months dealing with pain in my knee and not able to do normal activities.. I don't know how this is gonna turn out but so far I'm not very impressed with his practice. . read more

Dr Eifler is great, but his scheduling and office staff are the worst ever. When you can get in to see him due to his odd schedule at different offices, he is a nice guy, good manner, skilled, and caring. The problem is his staff is forgetful, slow to call back, and bordering incompetent. I have seen it now for more than 6 months and will be moving on to find a better managed office. Last year it seemed better, but the folks he has now are clueless. He is certainly loosing money on this group as I can take my dollars elsewhere and others will too.
