    Clamp and tape

Customers: Read the bad reviews too. There's a pattern. He makes excuses. I think Rob is a good plumber and knows what he's doing, but he's a failure with public relations if things do not go smoothly, and he needs to hire someone competent. His partner made a mess. A copper pipe under the house was leaking and spraying water all over the subfloor and crawl space. He said he'd" replace the pipe" but he didn't. His partner put a metal clamp and black tape on it! It was spraying water days later, soaking my subfloor beams and flooding the crawl space. And he left a tool and a large plastic tarp under the house that covered the flooded area which could cause a lot of mold. I found it when the pipe began leaking again. Rob came and replaced or repaired the pipe. I asked for the old pipe but he seemed reluctant so I let it go. The job was not quite finished, but he came the next day at 9a.m. and wanted to get paid and said he'd send me a receipt, but he hasn't. I paid him in full, and I gave him my email address. Over the next week or so I gave him my email three times and repeatedly asked for an itemized receipt but got nothing, not even a return call. I thought he'd finish the job when he came at 9 am and wanted to get paid. After I paid him in full he left, and I waited for 5 hours and called him, but I got no return call until I called again and left a message that I had put a hold on the check. Then he called back. He was angry and yelled at me and hung up on me. He finally showed up to finish the job, but he was still angry and wouldn't look at me. Earlier, he said he'd clean the mud off the house that his partner smeared while working but he didn't clean it. He placed an industrial fan in the crawl space and left it overnight, but never picked it up. I called and told him I'd cover it and leave it on the side of the house. That was 10 days ago. The fan is still there. And he's sent no receipt. I only have an estimate with no date and writing that is illegible. He charged me $900. My regular plumber was busy. But he came and took photos of the pipes and I turned on the water, and he made a video of the "repaired" pipe that was spraying water and flooding the crawl space. Bad job, Rob, and lousy communication. And pick up your fan before it's stolen. And send me an itemized receipt. Maybe I won't ask you for the $225 I had to pay my regular plumber to come out on a Sunday and document the mess your guy made under my house. Repairing a copper pipe with a metal clamp and black tape? Is that what you call "replacing the pipe?"

He was able to identify where the leak was coming from and clearly explained the situation to us. I really appreciated his honesty -- he let us know that the issue was inside the appliance and outside of his scope, instead of trying to upsell or fix something unnecessarily. Very straightforward and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend!

When my husband mentioned being a Dodgers fan, Pablo said he couldn't support the Dodgers because they are "devil worshippers" -- specifically because they host Pride Nights. I was, and still am, genuinely stunned that someone representing a business would think that was an appropriate thing to say to a potential customer. Calling an organization "devil worshippers" simply for showing support for LGBTQIA+ people is an incredibly hateful thing to say about a community that has already faced generations of discrimination and marginalization. The irony seems completely lost on him: this kind of open hostility toward an entire group of people is exactly why Pride Nights and other visible displays of support for the LGBTQIA+ community continue to matter. Hearing someone speak with that kind of contempt simply because an organization chooses to celebrate and welcome LGBTQIA+ people was disturbing. It's beyond me how someone thinks saying something like that out loud during a professional interaction is acceptable. On top of that, FlowTech quoted us $5,200 for the project. We ultimately had the same project completed for $1,600 elsewhere. Needless to say, we won't ever be using FlowTech Drains.

They highlight the warranty during the sale, but they don't tell you the warranty is between Payless and the water heater company, it's not between you and the water heater company. It's in THEIR best interest if the water heater fails. They get the new heater under the warranty, and then charge a significant amount to install the new one, at, essentially the same cost as an entirely new system. I asked if they could drop off the new heater and we would have it installed by a different plumber, for a SIGNIFICANT amount less, and the answer was no. I pushed back on the cost, and they agreed to drop the install fee by $300 (give or take) if we didn't get the required permit. Do NOT purchase a water heater from this company. It is their best interest if it fails. They make 'free' money. Incredibly disappointing.

Thank God we started exploring other plumbers for a second opinion and came across Jerry's company. He was confident that he could open it up and that we do not have a broken pipe based on his experience. Sure enough he came the next morning and was able to clear the drain with ease! If you have a drain that needs clearing or any plumbing work to be done, go straight to the expert and call Jerry!

So grateful that we've had Jerry's help and used Pro Solutions twice now for our plumbing needs…read more Both times were A+ experiences and I'll be continuing to use them for all of my plumbing tasks as they come up. A few years ago I used Pro Solutions and Jerry came out for a water pressure issue that impacted our sinks and shower. Jerry was thoughtful and a good communicator on the issue. He fixed the issue immediately and that experience stuck with us. Fast forward to this week, we used them again. Thankfully, no emergencies but I had one toilet needing a tweak and needed hardware changed in one of my bathrooms for the shower and sink that was long overdue. Even though my request wasn't an emergency, Jerry offered to come out within hours of my request to fix everything and was communicative even late into the night (when my toilet started acting up so I frantically messaged them) talk about stellar availability and service. Next day I had Jerry at my door, he was punctual, professional and did a great job of explaining everything so that I could understand what needed to be done, the pricing, and options for the replacement pieces. It was all a seamless and easy process. Jerry was also quick and efficient which was another bonus. What gives this company extra brownie points in my books though is their honesty...To elaborate, I had partially fixed the issue with my toilet before Jerry came but there was still something slightly off about the water levels... after telling Jerry he was able to tweak the part that I didn't know how to fix and literally in seconds, he had the issue resolved. Given what a quick fix it was and that he was already out to help with other plumbing issues, he didn't charge me for the toilet fix. Little things like that go a long way because any other plumber would've likely charged me just for even touching it/assessing it. That shows me that they care about their long-term business and customers, so they aren't out to make a quick buck. Honest, hardworking people are the kind of businesses I'll always go back to for repairs and projects. Two separate experiences and I was a happy customer both times. I'd highly recommend using pro solutions, plumbing and rooter for your house repair needs. Thanks Jerry and Team!

Was able to share my issues over the phone and before even seeing my appliances / the work to be done they came prepared with their own replacement parts and tools. The gentlemen that worked on my repairs were Clinton and Cayden. Two young professionals. I was impressed that they were right on time for the appointment. Very friendly, kind and professional. They handled everything with care and explained to me exactly what needed to be done. They were mindful and wore booties over their shoes in the house without me even making a comment. They were able to fix a leak in one of my showers and replace two corroded nozzles in my laundry area. Again I was impressed that 1. They assessed what needed to be fixed quickly, 2. Took care in explaining what needed to be done, 3. Had replacement pieces already on hand, and 4. Accomplished all of my repairs in about an hour. It's funny because another worker guy was actually at my house when they came and he even he was impressed with how timely this duo was. What really sealed the deal in me giving them five stars is they were a very understanding of our financial limitations to do all of the work that they suggested and without being pushy or sticking to their initial quote, they were able to be flexible and make some adjustments on how they handled the repairs to get the cost down. Yes that means they didn't do the repairs 100% as the felt I needed/recommended but they also worked with me to cut some repairs that were not an immediate need to keep the price point reasonable so that I could at least get some of the work done this day. A lot of places wouldn't give you any flexibility or would hound you to maintain their price point but these guys are very reasonable and I would 100% use them again in the future. If you are looking for a plumber in the 805 area this is a great family owned business and I couldn't recommend them enough.
