I used to use Robison Plumbing. I recommended them to my parents, who are in their 80's. They had a new hot water heater installed and asked the plumber to replace a small item in their shower. It took him 15 minute. The plumber didn't tell them how much they were going to be charge. That 15 minutes was over $500! My dad called about the charge, but they would not adjust the bill. They took advantage of elderly retired couple. I will not use or recommend their services to anyone. read more

I will not use Robinson Plumbing ever again. They bundle and astronomically inflate the cost of repairs, especially compared to independent local businesses. They do not provide an itemized breakdown of charges before or after the service to help clarify what you paid for. The receipt showed one bundled flat rate of $760 for three items and service. In total, I was charged $800 for replacing a flapper, flush valve, and fill valve for my toilet. Alone, these three products cost around $50. The length of the repair/service was less than 45-minutes. While I appreciated the same-day service, 1-year warranty, and customer courtesy of the technician, the corporate overhead charges for under an hour of labor and less than $50 in retail parts are predatory and equate to an astronomical hourly rate. Even the technician told me I could fix this problem on my own and demonstrated how to fix it in the future. I have been a loyal customer with Robinson Plumbing and wanted to use them as a reputable local brand. I trusted the technician's expertise in a stressful moment, but looking into standard plumbing rates following the estimate, it is clear they have thrived on a lack of transparency with customers and overcharged people for 40 years (a reputable plumber the manager told me). The manager offered me a 5% discount for my troubles, which would have amounted to $40 off my $800 bill. I appreciated the gesture, but felt it was insulting and did not fairly resolve my concerns as a loyal customer. Robinson's secretive bundled pricing, extremely high inflation, and stubborn manager make it impossible for me to recommend their company to neighbors, friends, colleagues, or my family. read more

100% happy with their service. Came out on Labor Day and didn't charge me extra. Cost to repair was surprisingly very reasonable, especially considering they had a 45min. drive. The gentleman (Rick) was very competent, friendly and fast. I was so impressed by their service; I opted to get a maintenance agreement for life which covers the basic charge of service. A lot less than expected to pay. Final cost, including maintenance agreement was less than $200! My new plumbing company will be Robison. read more

Replacing a 1 inch gate valve in our outdoor water system. It had cracked and was leaking so thought a ball valve would be a better replacement. It was completely dug out and exposed and the technician came out and quoted a bid for 1500 dollars to replace. I mean I dont know how this company stays in business. Was charged 70 dollars for the bid and we sent them on their way. Had a friend stop by and he said he could do it for a couple hundred bucks. Its just to bad that companys like this prey on people's desperation or people not knowing what stuff should cost. My husband and I walked out to the garage yesterday and it smelled wet. We look up on the wall by the water heater and it looked like something in the wall was leaking. We haven't had the need to use a plumber since moving here two years ago, so I turned to the google. Robinson came up, and it said that they were open 7 days a week, and it being a Sunday afternoon, they seemed like a good choice. I called the main line and the woman was super nice. She said she would tell the person on call and we could decide if the problem was urgent or not. Marcus called and was able to figure out the problem from my husband talking to him and a few pictures sent via text. He told us it wasn't in the wall, it was a small tank over the water heater and would be an easy fix! He even offered to get us in that night when he finished the appointments he had set up. Marcus was super nice and helpful. He got the problem fixed in no time! Robison will be our go to plumbers and we will be sure to mention them whenever we can. read more

Every plumber from Robison's Plumbing has surpassed my expectations. Robison's is the best plumbing company I have ever worked with.

I had them out to fix a leaking hose bib. The technician did not believe me when I said the hose bib was leaking even though I told him that the soil and concrete is consistently wet, that there is always water dribbling from the release valve, and pointed out the green calcification from the leak on the brick under the nozzle. I told him that I had been monitoring it and that I know what it's supposed to look like around my own hose bib but he had the nerve to tell me that the soil and nearby concrete was wet from rain. When it told him it hadn't rained in 2 weeks, he said that it takes a long time to dry. When I pointed out that there was water dribbling from the release valve, he said that was left over from when I last used the nozzle. I told him that it was dribbling even when I hadn't used the nozzle in weeks and he didn't believe me. Then he had to call someone with more experience than him and after HE relayed the information (ignoring my facts) he told me there was nothing wrong with it. Of course I was still expected to pay for the service call, which I did.a I asked for quote to replace the nozzle anyway. He said they would have to break the brick on the front of my house and permanently cover it with a piece of plastic and the estimate for the new nozzle was over $900. I waited a couple months and of course the problem got worse and became a steady stream that I had to collect in a bucket and empty twice a day. I called a different plumbing company who acknowledged the obvious problem, replaced it without any damage to my brick and no plastic cover, and the cost was $400. Robison is sending out people that are not competent. Shortly before the hose nozzle visit they came out for something else (installing a kitchen faucet) and I also had them repair a drain stopper that wasn't working. A few months later the drain stopper was broken again. I fixed it myself. They can't even fix a drain stopper properly? read more

Called to fix toilet tank overflowing. 3 plumbers came, one plumber (Sean) checked the problem, said it'll cost me about $600+ to fix it. I declined, but then I had to pay $148+ for them to come in. Ridiculous. I called a friend and fixed the problem less than 3 minutes for free. Why would Robison be dishonest to good customers? I will not recommend Robison to friends or anybody. A delivery truck drove over and broke our main water line to the house. I called Robison and with in an hour they had two clean and professional plumbers at my house fixing the broken line. I was so impressed by the response time as well as the professionalism of the staff. They were very affordable and exceeded my expectations as far as cost and time. Had them out to do warranty work on our Navien hot water tank. They charged a lot and wouldn't help with the warranty claim. I soon learned that they charge more than Navien is alloting for the warranty work. Now I know why they won't help. They overcharge. A waste of money! I called with a clogged sink pipe. I told them what I had done already tried to solve it on my own. They were not up front about how much they charged or that they do not guarantee the service they perform. They charged me over 700 to do what I had already done myself. The tech had no idea what to do when it wasn't an easy fix and left after 4 hours without ever figuring it out. He also said it was a different problem, which it wasn't, and wanted more money to look into that. In the end another plumber did what they should have done under the original contract by snaking another part of the plumbing. read more

I purchased a gas dryer from Costco which included delivery & installation. Delivery guy unable to install. I called Robison and they connected it. Total time in house: 40 minutes. Had a toilet with a leaking wax ring. When I set up the appointment they said there is a minimum charge of 129. Great that's fine, I'll pay for the minimum labor. They took a look at the toilet and came back with two quotes one for $426 and one for $489 for something that should take under an hour. read more

What a strange range of reviews.... we had Robison out today for a broken pipe repair on our water-well main-feed pipe to the pressure tank / house. From the time I called to the time they arrived was less than an hour - at dinner time on a Sunday night, no less. I was expecting a horrendous bill but was in for a good surprise. Plumbing technician Travis was SUPER nice on the phone, and in person. I had started digging before he got here but he quickly took over and figured out the break right away. The price IMO was GREAT considering it was a Sunday at dinner time - and we were facing the potential of a night at a hotel (with no water, no showers, etc.). But the billing cost for the repair was totally reasonable and that wasn't necessary. Travis was just awesome - professional and friendly and just a "great guy" and fixed our problem in no time for a very reasonable cost. I had asked for an estimate for replacing my natural gas 50 gal tank water heater on 24 Feb 2022. They send out a plumber (Anthony) to review the existing situation and provide an estimate. Not only did Anthony arrive late (3 hours late from the appointed time (10AM - 1 PM)), I am still waiting for my estimate. Have reminded them twice about the estimate - no response. Reminded the VP of Operations Tom Bozeman also and NO ESTIMATE! Very unreliable - an un-responsive contractor is always a unreliable contractor! PS: The photo they have posted on their website shows glue smeared all over the pipe joints - very sloppy! read more

My family has used Robison plumbing for almost 20 years at our Poulsbo beach home. After a king tide flood our shower was clogged and backed up. In less then 24hrs of our call Sean was here. My mother has cancer and has made this now her home. After fixing the backup Sean seeing my mother in need grabbed some Ajax and scrubbed the shower clean removing all the sand and dirt. This is above and beyond and absolutely touched my heart. What may seem so little to some can truly touch a family and mean more then words can say. Worst water heater installation ever. It was a pretty simple job. The water heater is in the garage - easy access with plenty of room to work. I live in Silverdale, WA not, San Francisco as the review location shows. I was supposed to be the first call in the morning. Tech didn't show up until 1130. The tech installs the new water heater on the old stand (its a gas water heater, so it needs to be elevated 18 inches to be within code). Problem is, one of the legs on the 26 year old stand is corroded with rust. I mistakenly figured the tech would replace the old stand - wrong. Next problem - the new water heater is not centered on the old stand. Part of the new water heater extends beyond the edge of the stand on one side - while on the other side the edge of the water heater does not go all the way to the edge of the stand. It's off-center. Third problem - I go out to my garage this Sunday afternoon and there is water leaking out of the tank inlet valve that the tech replaced - due to poor soldering. I chose Robison because I wanted a good plumber to do a quality install. I ended up paying way more than I should have and got a very sloppy installation that is now leaking 3 weeks later. Thankfully I saw the leak in the afternoon. If it would have happened at night while I was sleeping, I would have woken up to a disaster. I'm now waiting for the Sunday emergency tech to come out and fix the leak. Bottom line - if you want a quality water heater installation - don't choose Robison. read more

They were the only plumbing service I could find that would come promptly to unclog an underground drain on a rainy dark Autumn evening. On a second occasion they were the only outfit I could find that had a Jetter - a machine to unclog underground storm drains. That fixed the problem. read more

Was out of town so unable to go out to see about the leak under kitchen sink. My wife was told need air gap and tail piece for dishwasher- $260, but should replace all other pvc piping too as no telling if it will last more than a year! An additional $300. So I got about $50 worth of parts and $500 labor for an hour work! Then was told I get the discount included because they back end charged $89 for a warranty and free future inspection. I have a tree business and I have 4 guys out on jobs with $300k worth of equipment and do not charge this much even at the risks we take. TOTAL RIP OFF ! No they never charge overtime because their rates are already at double time ! I guess ethics and fairness do not apply here... read more

Robison came out for a big job--plumber had to reschedule for a day he could bring a second pair of hands. That got canceled at the last minute. On the re-re-schedule he showed up 3 hours late without the second pair of hands, couldn't do the job, asked to re-re-re-schedule only now with an excavator and an even higher price tag. When the job was finally all done, it was missing one of the pieces I'd been told was included. The answer for that seemed to be some combination of "my supervisor told me to do it this way" and "what we told you we'd do was hard". I'm not sure what the job should have cost, or what it should have looked like...but I feel like I got played. read more

I had Seth come and attempt to hydro jet nut down spout gutters which was unsuccessful. He then rigged a quick fix so my sump pump could drain my crawl space and told me He was going to need a city permit to tie in to city storm drains. I waited three weeks while calling every week to check the status of the permit only to have Tom the service mngr tell me they don't do that type of job and he wishes Seth had told him sooner. Trash business and they need to be a bit more communicative with the client. Would not recommend any large job be routed to this sad excuse of a company. read more
