This is going to be a long review. My main sewer line clogged up which resulted in water backing up and coming out of my shower drains. I first went with Roto Rooter (don't recommend them at all) since they were the first on google. They attempted to auger the line which didn't work and cost $600 (way overpriced). Then they used a camera to locate the block and quoted me $10k to dig up and inspect the block manually. This entire process took a week because Roto Rooter had horrible customer service and scheduling. I looked for companies on yelp and found Tom's company Ace works and saw his great reviews. I updated him on the issues and the job that Roto rooter quoted. Over the phone he gave me a quote that was a quarter of the price compared to roto rooter. He was able to schedule me two days later (he already had other jobs). On the day of our appointment he had great communication and called me before our appointment to update me that they finished a job and were going to get lunch then head over. He actually showed up 30 mins earlier then we planned which was nice. Tom and his apprentices were very nice and professional. They were able to finish the job sooner then expected and verified everything worked before leaving. Since it was shorter than they expected, the final cost was cheaper than what he quoted me! Tom is my new go to plumber for any issues and for any renovations. I highly recommend his company and have already sent his contact info to family and friends if they need him in the future. A plumbing leak came up during electrical work on our house, so I needed a plumbing fix on short notice and Ace Works came through. The issue was a dislodged pipe in the basement crawlspace that was leaking sewage into said crawlspace, so the electrician couldn't continue working until the mess was cleaned up and the pipe reconnected. Tom came over to assess the situation with just a couple hours' notice, laid down a substance to absorb the wastewater overnight, and cleaned it up the following day after reconnecting the pipe (which involved rerouting it through a different beam in the crawlspace).
