We've had the pleasure of working with Herdman Plumbing on several occasions for projects of every size. Every technician has been polite, knowledgeable, and skilled, fixing each issue and explaining what they were doing and why along the way. I called Herdman Plumbing about a potential toilet leak and fix to my bathroom drain. Ken and Kyle, our technicians, arrived early, quickly assessed the issue and got to work. I truly value the service they provided! read more

Dakota and Drake came out to upgrade my plumbing under the sinks. They were very professional and listened to what I wanted done. I appreciate their courtesy and advice. I put my trust in them. Thank you! read more

Christopher and Kyle arrived to assess our water connections for our new washer. We were told, by the installer, that the plumbing had to be replaced. Contacted Herdman Plumbing. Their inspection of the hookups revealed that there were no problems. They proceeded to hookup the washer and dryer and test both. They were very polite and knowledgeable. Great job by both. Pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

On a Saturday in November 2025 our hot water heater began acting up. The water out of the tap was approaching 190 degrees F while it was set at 130. The water was bubbly and steamy. I knew something was wrong but being a weekend I decided to wait it out. Sunday evening I attempted to take a shower and there was no hot water. The heater had kicked. My wife, daughter and I needed hot water so I began calling plumbers first thing Monday morning. Herdman Plumbing had great reviews and were local so I called them. They had a crew at the house within a few hours and were able to remove the old heater and replace it before I even got home from work. My wife said the crew was personable and friendly and they explained everything they did. Not only did they swap out the heater but they also brought it up to code. I like that the heater they installed was not a cheap bottom of the line model but a solid commercial type that is much better quality than what we had. When I inspected the work I couldn't tell they had been there except for the new heater. The area was spotless clean and no packing material or debris was left behind. I'd absolutely use them again and highly recommend Herdman Plumbing to anyone needing their services. read more

Brett and Brett came out to find a leak. They were very polite and very professional. They quickly found the problem. They told us the fees up front. I will recommend them for any issues. read more

TLDR. Special shotout to Brett and Eric for coming in today. Brett is very communicative, well-spoken, and detailed in his explanations. He also makes sure that everyone involved understands what he is talking about and that you aren't confused about the problem. We called in today because there was blockage in the main line that was flooding one of the bathroom floors in my aunt's house. My uncle called and within 30 minutes or so, they arrived swiftly! The shower upstairs, kitchen sink, all were making the bathroom flood whenever water was used. Brett walked us through the whole process, told us what they were going to do, and gave us recommendations going forward. One of the problems was that a tap root from a rose bush got into the pipe line, and was a contributing factor in creating blockage. He showed us all this via the camera on the snake he used to clear the blockage and even told us how far the blockage was (41 feet out). We then went outside with a GPS to locate the snake which was about 37 feet away IIRC. My family will remove the taproot that broke into the sewer line at a future date. Personally, I wished more people from various industries were just as clear and communicative as Brett. Wonderful man, wonderful company, owner should give him a more senior position as his communication skills are strong asset for the company. He is someone many people can learn from and model themselves to be. read more

Double kitchen sink's plugged up. Water's filling both sides and nothing's clearing the clog! If this happens while cooking dinner it's disaster--you can't wash dishes nor utensils nor nothing! What are you supposed to do? Hope you can find a plumber to come out to your place the following morning to clear the clog and fix that sink. Which was this morning. Of course I first looked on Yelp for local quality plumbers. Herdman was one of the ones I found. But oh no! The earliest appointment time is next Tuesday but they'll put us on the Cancel List. Within TEN minutes I get a callback from Gina--there was a cancellation this morning and the plumber can be there this morning. Oh joy! Rapture! We're getting the sink fixed today! Brett and Vladmir arrived and got right to work. They brought in the large Drain Auger Machine aka snake and other tools. In about 30 minutes they were done. Brett was the lead tech but both men were friendly and efficient. Easy to see why Herdman Plumbing is so highly rated. We would definitely call them again. It's a pleasure to add my own high rating for their business. read more

Very good work on installing a minisplit heatpump and replacing a broken water heater. They came when they said they would, did a quality job, and made sure all was well before departing. They patiently explained how the unit would operate to the dim owner. And they were honest about there being no real need for a maintenance contract on a mini-split beyond maintaining an extended warranty and dd not try to upsell on an OK existing unit. Price was OK considering the hours needed complete with a sub-contracted 240V electrical install. read more

We were very impressed with the quality and reliability of the father and son team who came out to install a gas line for a propane tank we plan to install. Showed up on time and went above and beyond to help us out. read more

Jim and Volod were excellent and professional. They quickly found the root of the tankless water heater problem and fixed it. What's even better is that they were able to come a day earlier than expected! They gave me a phone call before they came out, which I appreciated and even sent a reminder email. Thanks so much. My only concern was that the charges were a little strange. A $15 fuel fee and $225 for "Open an access point in ceiling or wall to work on piping or locate". When I called the company to ask what the charge was I was told that's the minimum charge, like the service fee. I guess it was typed into the receipt incorrectly. Anyway, I hope I won't need to use their services again, but I'd I do, I'll be sure to call Herdman Plumbing. read more

Herdman Plumbing - Plumbing Near Me - Silverdale, Washington

The plumber Brett was very professional, efficient, early and reasonably priced. I will use this service again

We recently needed to replace our water heater. I asked a neighbor for a recommendation and he suggested that I call Herdman Plumbing. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get someone out in a day or so to look into the issue. They send out a young man, Brett Dyckman who was super knowledgeable, courteous and easy to deal with in every way. The water heater had to be replaced and Brett tracked down a replacement unit and kept us informed of its arrival date. Installation went smoothly and we had hot water again! I strongly recommend Herdman Plumbing. read more

We are having a new shower put in and Jim and Michael showed up for the plumbing side of the install. We were very pleased with the attention to detail and professionalism. Jim was willing to change the height of the shower head even after completing the first height request. It made more sense to extend it to the higher position and they completed no problem. They laid floor covering down as to not track dirt into the house. Overall we were very pleased with the work performed. When we have the next plumbing addition/install we will call Herdman Plumbing to see what they can offer. Thanks again Jim and Michael. read more

Dale and Micheal got our sinks cleared out and ready to go. I really appreciated the in depth diagnosis. Our house is old and we will want to redo all the plumbing soon. The first local plumber I called only serviced commercial establishments but had recommended Herdman Plumbing. When I called, a friendly voice answered and set us up with a date in no time. Herdman will be the company we choose hands down. Thanks guys! read more

Our hardwood installer nicked the waterline to the fridge and we had a leak on our brand new wood floors. This was quite stressful, so we called end of day to get an appt. No one was available, but they sent someone out the very next day. He texted me when he was on his way and replaced the waterline and fixed a leak in another sink for only $350. They were very professional and prompt. I didn't catch his name because it was only over the phone as this was a day before we moved in. We would definitely recommend them. read more

Prompt response to leak between meter and house. Chris and Bret were the plumbers who performed the service. Although the leak source was under the driveway, they performed the repair without breaking through the concrete. They were respectful of the property, took care not to disturb the planter area, and cleaned up the driveway afterward. The charge was less than I anticipated read more

I had Herdman Plumbing come out to re-build a toilet which the previous owners had installed non-manufacturer parts into and resulted in a barely functional flush lever. Furthermore, the previous owners didn't have the toilet mounted on straight which was an eyesore in the bathroom. The great folks at Herdman ensured that I had the correct parts on hand and helped to re-build the toilet and even straightened it out for me! Furthermore, after their initial re-build I noticed that the toilet tank was refilling every 10-30 minutes at all hours of the day. I called Herdman Plumbing and let them know the issue and they had someone out the next day to fix the issue free of charge. I would definitely use Herdman again and recommend them to friends. read more

Called them up to fix a leak around the base of the toilet. They arrived kinda early without letting us know, which is usually a good thing except I wasn't home yet from work so I rushed home to meet them. The first group was fine, did quick work, but they misdiagnosed the problem and the leak continued. Problem ended up being a broken toilet of all things. Herdman agreed to reduce the price of replacing the toilet by the amount I paid for the first visit, which is fair. I bought a toilet and a different plumber - Dale and a second guy (I think his name was Devan or David) came out this time to replace. They did great work, very professional and knocked out the job quickly. I'd hire them again. read more

This company is top notch and is/will be the only company I will call for service. This is a great company; highly recommended! Two weeks ago Eric and Mikey came to repair a leak under a bathroom sink and a leaking toilet in another bathroom. They found the issues and repaired them. They also checked if the same problems existed in the other sink and toilet, found that they did and repaired them also. In that same visit, Eric checked my kitchen sink and dishwasher for slow drainage issues, gave suggestions, didn't find a problem in the drainage but recommended an update to dishwasher and recommended the current most reliable brand. Due to my current concerns with my plumbing, have scheduled Herdman to install my dishwasher and a new shower head in the bathroom. Today, early this morning, noticed water dripping from my ceiling & found water leaking from the toilet tank, separate issue from earlier toilet leak. Although Herdman had a fully booked schedule today with one person out, Craig their Service Manager came within a short time to check and fix the issue and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Craig took the time to explain the issues, answer my questions in a way I could understand (Eric and Mikey also did this) and let me know what to look for if there is a bigger plumbing issue. Also, need to acknowledge Doreen in the office who answers the phone calls and schedules the appointments. She's wonderful to work with...courteous and helpful. All of them have been. Due to the age of my home, have become concerned about the plumbing. At the end of my interactions with these technicians, my concerns are lessened due to their professionalism and expertise. Seriously, Herdman Plumbing and employees are my super heroes! So glad their located in Silvetdale! read more

There had been a constant dripping in the bathtub that I attempted to fix on my own. When I finally was able to call a plumber, Herdman's staff was incredibly helpful. From the person (I apologize I didn't catch your nam) answering the phone, to the plumber, Dale, who showed up. Dale was able to assess the situation, get everything situated and fixed, and I am really glad to have called Herdman Plumbing, and getting great service from Dale. I highly recommend contacting them! Thank you! I can't wait to use my shower again! The neighbors have been complaining about the smell! read more

My home is over 100 years old and I have used several different plumbers on numerous occasions, some better than others. I have used Herdman Plumbing twice now, and they are by far the best at diagnosing the problem and the most reasonably priced. The first time was to fix a leaking toilet and second time to replace a kitchen faucet. Brett is friendly, professional, reliable and awesome at problem solving. I highly recommend Herdman Plumbing and will definitely use them again. read more

They came in for a kitchen sink hookup that required new pipe installation due to the kitchen remodel. They did an awesome job and were very reasonably priced. They got the job done quickly and gave me some good pointers on some other things that I should switch up to avoid future issues. Strong reccomend. read more

This is the company you call! The last time I tried to contact a plumber I had a heck of a time. No return calls and they wouldn't even answer their phones at times. It took weeks to find a plumber willing to come out. Not with Herdman Plumbing! These folks are AWESOME! They answer their phones and they make appointments and show up on time the day day they promise. The work was perfect and the plumber was friendly and positive. I whole heartedly recommend this company. Look no further. Thanks Herdman! read more

Herdman Plumbing is a company that clearly cares about the quality of work it does. They were the initial plumbers on my house when it was built 5 years ago. When I found a leak from something that happened when the house was built, they came out and fixed it for me at no cost, because it was the right thing to do. Good company with good values. Would recommend to anyone. read more

The tech that came to our place was very nice. He worked fast and did a decent job. He was very polite face to face. Unfortunately, we discovered after he left that he had gone into our bedroom and bathroom without permission. We felt pretty uncomfortable and even contacted the company. I was told a manger would contact us but we haven't heard. It's been a few weeks. To be fair, I'm pretty sure he went into our bedroom looking for the bathroom but he really should have asked. Since he didn't, and no one has contacted me, I can't say I would recommend this company to anyone. When you trust a company to be in your home, you shouldn't have to watch them the entire time. In fact, I looked in and out on the tech every few minutes and still did not notice he had wandered. Also, the lack of response to my complaint continues to be of concern. IF you use these guys, and I wouldn't recommend it, keep an eye out the entire time. read more

Edited Nov 2016: Turns out the plumber from Herdman used the wrong part (I found out because I ended up having the same leak return & had another plumber come out). Because of this I'm changing my rating. What an underhanded thing to have done! Reliable, knowledgeable, and good customer service. When I had a plumbing leak, I called several local plumbers but was only able to get someone from Herdman out same day. The woman on the phone was great--quick, polite, intelligent, and obviously experienced with this. They assigned the job to a company they use, apparently, called Express Plumbing. The plumber was quick and efficient and the charges seemed to be fair. They also have a "preferred customer" list you can join which lowers your cost a bit, gives you priority for emergencies, and signs you up for annual maintenance check-ups. Highly recommended! read more

Normally, I wouldn't take the time, but Herdman Plumbing far exceeded my expectations and thoughts towards customer service in today's society. I called Thursday morning spoke with Haily at Herdman Plumbing and explained that my Rheem tankless water heater had gone out again (second one in two years). She explained, that their (Herdman Plumbing) warranty was only good for one year and referred me to a company in Seattle that was authorized to work on the Rheem water heater. After speaking with the company in Seattle, they referred me to call Rheem directly for help with troubleshooting the unit. Rheem asked me to take detailed photos of the unit, exhaust, intake and outside where it exits. Once I emailed the photos to Rheem. I called back and spoke with a representative, that asked how far is the distance from the unit inside to where it exits outside. I explained it seemed about 20-25 feet. He stated it should only be about 5 feet and the exhaust vent should be a three inch, not a two inch. Additionally, he stated it would be hard to warranty the unit because of the issues. I called Herdman Plumbing, spoke with Adam Herdman (owner) and explained the situation, he requested me to email him the photos that I just sent to Rheem. After reviewing the photos, Adam called me back and stated that he was going to send a superintendent out and install a new Rinnai tankless water heater on Friday morning. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this. Herdman Plumbing took ownership of the issue, even though it was the builders fault. Just when you think in today's world, customer service is nonexistent, Herdman Plumbing changes my mind. You have a customer for LIFE!!! read more

In an area with very unresponsive contractors Herdman stands out above the rest. They went above and beyond to help me out with a service/warranty issue. The owner was very friendly and went out of his way to fix a manufacturers issue on a short time frame. Have dealt with them several times and the whole staff is friendly and helpful. They are on the top of my list for plumbing needs in the future. read more
