*Updated 6/23/2024* Over the last year 50% of the time there's been something wrong with the order. The pizza is still the best in the area. But what seemed like missteps in my first review now seem more like habits. It's not worth the hour drive anymore.

Brick oven goodness with original combos and delish toppings? Best "Hey, let's get pizza moment" EVER! One small pizza yields four large slices that served two people well. Delicious sauce and perfectly cooked. Perfectly cooked means none of that burnt crust that frequently happens to the brick oven pizza that I truly dislike. everyone in our group of 6 tried a different combo and everyone was impressed. The hours are only 4-8 pm, so plan accordingly! Beverages are canned sodas or beer, but large bottles of chilled water are provided for the table. Remember to order at the counter before you sit, and check out the ice cream menu for dessert.

Someone gooned on my pizza and it lowkey tasted better. It had very good flavor and I liked the texture.

    Veni Vidi Vici pizza. Yum.

Roberto's has great atmosphere, excellent pizza, superior service with friendly staff and good beer.

10 * stars ! Simply delicious. Please don't compare Roberto's to your local town pizza parlor, this is a collection of artisanal creations in a country setting. Great outdoor space out back, very picturesque setting. Great crust, thin and chewy... A must if you are in the area..Hannah Bella is amazing.

My doggie attended as well. A perfect celebration!

So much fun to have my birthday party at Roberto's. Pizza was fabulous. Everyone raved. They also loved the wine and beer selection. Service was great. Appropriate for all ages. I even got to hire a musician of my choice to play. And had a local baker deliver my birthday cake. Robbie could not have been more professional or more accommodating!

Being from Brooklyn I've had a very hard time living all over the state of MA. Was so happy to find Roberto's Pizza. We eat here once a week and always look forward to it. Roberto's sauce is the boss! I love getting their specials whenever they have them and love the New England clam chowder as well. Great staff too. Always friendly and helpful even when they are swamped.

Great pizza, I had someone pick it up for me so I can't speak to the place itself, but I'll be back for sure.

His family background really shines through in his new place. While in The Berkshire , my wife Bridget and I longed for a good pizza. We ordered a creative radicchio salad for appetizer that was outstanding and enough for 3-4 people. The Funghi Pizza and The Margherita was remarkably delicious. Add original Coca Cola soda with cane sugar ingredients a big hit. A French Press coffee to finish the evening.

And then the food arrives... and it's extraordinary. The pizzas are simply out of this world -- the kind you think about long after the meal is over. Perfectly blistered crust, incredible flavor, and toppings that feel both creative and beautifully balanced. Truly the best pizza we have ever had. But the magic doesn't stop with the pizza. The appetizers are fantastic (the meatballs are unforgettable), the salads are fresh and vibrant, and everything on the menu feels thoughtfully crafted. Pair that with a wonderful, carefully chosen wine list and the whole experience becomes something truly special. What Rafi and his entire team have created is exactly what the Berkshires has been waiting for -- a place with soul, warmth, and absolutely outstanding food. Hilltown Hot Pies isn't just a restaurant. It's a destination. We are thrilled to have it here. Run, don't walk -- this place is a gift to the Berkshires.

Pizza party @ Boema!…read more After searching high and low to find a good restaurant for pizza in the area we found Pizzeria Boema. They mentioned that they are closed normally on Sundays but they opened for school vacation...Yipee! Decor is classic Italian with a large bar and pizza oven looking right at you. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks along with their wood fired garlic cheese bread. Kasey our bartender was extremely nice and conversational. She suggested a few of her faves! We also ordered the Polpette pizza xtra crispy. The restaurant was extremely crowded with families due to school vacation. You can tell its a popular neighborhood spot. The garlic cheese bread came out and it looked more like a mini pizza, but still delicious with the marinara sauce on the side. Afterwards, the Pizza came out and although not as crispy or well done as we would like, it was still good. We were full but had to look at the dessert menu because how could you not. Kasey recommended the Pistachio Risotto Cake and boy was it worth it. Actually to die for! Flavorful, soft and a delicious way to end a perfect meal. If you are ever in the Berkshires and trying to find a great pizzeria look no further than Boema, its the place for good conversations, excellent food and the perfect service! Cheers~

The restaurant is decorated beautifully, in a minimal aesthetic. We sat at the bar where the service was fast & friendly; we enjoyed wonderful old-fashioned while we perused the menu. I ordered the gluten-free truffle mushroom pizza, and my husband had the vegetarian pizza with regular crust. Both of which just knocked our socks off! Great, fresh toppings and the crusts were perfect. We can't wait to come back the next time we pass through town. Highly recommended!

It honestly takes a really good pizza from a 8/10 to a 5/10. The mozzarella has that block quality with a little bounce and squeak to the cheese rather than a creamy pull. That's my only complaint. The sauce is nice as well as the toppings and the dough. Crust is thin with a little sag, it's not new haven pizza, no char and not a lot of crunch or blistering. Most items are well portioned and enough to share between at least 2 people if sampling. Caesar salad is enough to share between 2 people if you want to sample the menu. Great lettuce quality and better than most restaurants. It's not the bagged precut garbage with all stalks. They use little gem variety. Fries are shoestring and oh so delicious to snack on. Not an insult, but if you like McDonald's fries, these are even better. IYKYK Meatballs were ok, nothing super special. Nice texture, but not dry. Doesn't really have a fresh flavor. The meat flavor reminded me of a mass produced meatloaf from a diner. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but for someone with a very refined palate, I think it needs a little "life" mixed in. The sauce helps that a bit. Cocktails were nicely done. You could taste all the flavors listed in the cocktail. Not overly strong and not weak. Definitely would come back to sample more food. ORIGIN: Fern is located in a former firehouse that has been…read morerecently renovated and redesigned for commercial and residential use (an apartment is located on the second floor). Although largely serving Italian dishes, the chosen name of the restaurant -- Fern -- refers to the abundant flora of the surrounding landscape. Nature is woven into the design of the restaurant's interior, with several glass garage doors inviting streams of sunlight and fresh air into the space. Potted plants line the walls. ATMOSPHERE: The design is eclectic. The dining room has a concrete floor and is lit by industrial pendant lights that hang from the high ceiling. Chunky large plank wooden banquettes divide the space, mixed with several tables surrounded by hefty wooden library chairs. Mirrors, paintings, and dainty fabric-shaded sconces adorn the walls. The result is an innovative mix of simple, industrial, and graceful elements. Near the entrance, a long C-shaped bar connects two dining spaces. The design supports interaction between guests. The bay doors that once allowed volunteers to zip into action now allow fresh air to drift into the restaurant's dining rooms. Patios with cafe seating line two sides of the building and are marked by fragrant herbs and shrubs. During a summer evening visit I enjoyed the sweet honey scent of mature Sheep's Head Hydrangeas that was captured thanks to the verdant boundary at the restaurant's entrance. FOOD: Contemporary Italian cuisine is served at Fern, with house-made pastas and wood-fired pizzas dominating the menu -- gluten-free options fully available for both. Sample menu items include: Bianco Pizza (ricotta, mozzarella, pecorino, crushed pistachios, thin slices of crisp garlic, spicy honey drizzle) Garganelli (hand-rolled tubular pasta surrounded by blistered tiny tomatoes, roasted garlic, mozzarella, and basil) Fluke Crudo (slices of fluke and radish, topped with basil oil, crispy shallots slivers, and begonia flowers) Chocolate Budino (Valhrona chocolate pudding topped with whipped creme fraiche and toasted coconut) SERVICE: Service is uneven, and at times unwelcoming. You will find others here have reported the same.
