As far as pizza in the Berkshires id say they are the best. I especially recommend the Salad Pizza (I have cucumbers added and sometimes bacon) Its delicious So good I had to have a slice before snapping a pic

This review is at the request of my 7 year old kiddo. He says: I would give it ten stars. I loved the chicken fingers with fries. And I really liked the server's voice. It's a great idea to come and eat here.

Menu

Good pizza! They serve it by the slice as well. No gluten-free. Haven't tried the other food yet but would like to. Daily specials on the board inside the door. Haven't eaten in yet.

Quick stop for giant slices.

Not my favorite at ALL! Maybe I hit a bad day but the sauce was bitter and the dough tasted "blown "

Vivaldi's Pizzeria - DELICOUS PIZZA FROM VIVALDIS IN GT BARRINGTON

Vivaldi's Pizzeria

This was our second time ordering takeout from Vivaldi's and it was even better than the first…read moretime. We've ordered their Mexican, Plain and Pepperoni pizzas. The Mexican was better than I remembered from last year. Vivaldi's is not far from Four Brothers. For me, it is a better pizza. Four Brothers tastes like what it is -- pizza you'd get someplace outside of a metro area. I don't even think pizza is what Four Brothers does best. Vivaldi's feels like they're trying to bring a decent pizza to the Berkshires and they're in a good position to do so despite the influx of competition. On their Mexican pizza, I'm not a huge fan of the black olives. They just have too strong a taste for me. Once you bite into one that is almost all you can taste. The pie would benefit from a bit of pico de Gallo to give it more of a Mexican flavor. On the plus side, they don't load it with so much stuff that the slices become impossible to pick up. Parking in this area is hit & miss since they share a gravel lot with several other businesses. Depending on when you go it can be adventurous. The place isn't exactly visible when you're driving on Route 7 so keep in mind that if you're already past the Price Chopper lot you might have missed this place. Vivaldi's gets a four from me based on their location in Great Barrington. Be thankful there isn't a Papa John's or Domino's up here.

My friend and I found Vivaldi's Pizzeria while we stayed at Holiday Inn Express at 415 Stockbridge…read moreRoad, Great Barrington, Mass. There are several restaurants next to Holiday Inn along Stockbridge Road. Vivaldi's lies behind, not visible from Stockbridge Road. The main business of this small restaurant is for take-out, although it has two small tables for dine-in. We ordered 6" tossed salad with house dressing and 12" Hawaiin pizza with ham. The total price came to be $30.10 (including tax). The quality of the food was very good. The vegetables for the salad were fresh and crisp. The pizza crust was thin. The pineapple melted into tomato sauce and cheese, not sliced or diced and spread on top. The pizza was very tasty but not greasy. The prices on the menu had not been updated. The prices charged, although still reasonable compared with other restaurants, were higher than those on the menu. The receipt showed only the total price; it did not list itemized orders. We gave this restaurant a 4-1/2, instead of 5, star rating because of these two minor issues with its menu and receipt.

I had the special , a brisket in a ciabatta with toppings was melt in your mouth great , as was my wife's fried chicken , macaroni salad and corn bread . Ruth, our waitress , was very attentive to every need , friendly and cheerful despite being super busy, otherwise. The coup da grace was the desert a ice cream espresso and pumpkin biscotti.... It topped off a delectable meal and night. Kudos to the chef and staff for making our anniversary celebration extra special

We arrived for our reservation and were offered a very small two-top. Because we were dining with our dog, we politely asked if it would be possible to wait for a larger table where she would not be in the way of other guests or staff. We were not demanding a different table -- we were told it would take approximately 30 minutes for another table in a different section to become available, and we happily said we were willing to wait. We sat quietly outside with our dog while waiting. The owner then approached us and told us that waiting for another table would interfere with future seating. We were surprised by this, as we had simply accepted the wait time that was provided to us and had not caused any disruption. The interaction escalated when the owner used profanity toward my husband and threw the water bowl that had been provided for our dog in our direction. We were shocked by the hostility and left without eating. We completely understand that restaurants have to manage reservations and seating, and we would have accepted being told that our request could not be accommodated. What was unacceptable was the way we were spoken to and treated by the owner. We came here excited to spend our money at this restaurant as part of our trip, but we are grateful that Great Barrington has many other excellent establishments where we were welcomed and happy to spend our money instead. Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite of the hospitality we expected.

The bread will go home with us. The pizza is for dinner. Each pizza would probably serve one adult man and are absolutely delicious. Cooking instructions are on the wrap - put them right on the rack. Crispy crust has plenty of air pockets to keep it light with a good chew. The BBQ onion is sweet. The roasted garlic had a bunch of garlic scattered all over. Lots of cheese on both. The last pizza, roasted red pepper, will be for another day. They had about five pre-made frozen pizza options when we visited. If you prefer, call ahead and they will build one fresh to your liking for you to pick up and bake at home. The interior shopping area is small. By the register is a pastry display case with the most enormous stuffed croissants, scones, cookies and other sweet treats. Behind that is a display of fresh breads. On a rack by the door are bagged bread goods. Freezer and refrigerator cases are along the wall. If I lived around here I would without a doubt be a regular customer and try all their offerings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cozy seating area by the front door to enjoy your purchases on site. Big parking lot.
