We were seated right away on a Saturday night around 7:30 p.m. We were the only customers, and the hostess was really nice. Had the linguine with clam sauce and was so surprised how good it was. Then tried the shrimp pizza; this was good too, crust was perfect, no flop, but it could've had more shrimp, and the garlic taste was lacking. Prices were unbelievably cheap compared to places like this in the greater Danbury area. I'd be here frequently if it were closer to me. read more

We live about 15 minutes from Lakeville, and we used to get pizza in the town we live in but after having issues with consistency we were wanting to try somewhere new and we are absolutely hooked on Mizza's. We rarely build our own pizza because the different specials they have are always so good. (Luigi's Favorite just so happens to be our favorite) The salads are always fresh, consistent, and packed right to the top of the container. I feel like I'm actually getting my money's worth. We also get the bruschetta. Something about their bruschetta is SO good. It's perfectly chopped, it has peppers, onions, tomato, and a tangy dressing that is nicely balanced and goes so well as a side with a savory pizza. We usually just order online (who doesn't love a nice and easy ordering process?) and pickup is always a breeze. If I order extra dressing it's always in there, they are always on top of making sure the order is completely together which I appreciate. Whoever helps us is always kind and willing to help us if we need anything else. Always worth the 15 minute drive. read more

Went there once after Eddie sold Mizza's. Was charged $5.00 for sharing a grinder (plate charge). The person was rude. Never returned and this was the place we went to at least once a week for over 50 years back when it was owned by the Four Brothers. Have heard that all the locals refuse to go there. Tried Nino's, wonderful pizza, super nice owner, it's my new go to as well as most of the entire area pizza esters!!! read more

I have patronized Mizzas for years. I waited 40 minutes and had to finally ask to get my food to go and then waited 10 more minutes. The wait staff have masted the ability to not make eye contact. Very disappointed, it used to be a gem and is now under new ownership. read more

LOVE EVERYTHING ON THE MENU - I'll start there. This holiday I was looking to lessen the burden of preparing food for my mother so I convinced her that having one dish catered wouldn't look bad on her part so my first thought was Mizza's. Wow, they totally went above and beyond for us. We got the chicken Française (which is my favorite dish there) and they did such a great job on it. I wasn't expecting it to come with a tray of salad & dressings and a huge amount of bread. We had so much food and everyone loved the chicken it was the "hit "of the party!!! Wow!!!! The Seafood Fra Diavlo was incredible. By far my favorite dish, I order it whenever I see it in a menu. Fantastic Job thank you. I ordered food for four people while we were at work. They charged me in total $128.94! The meals only cost $56.17 and a $5 tip for a total of $61.17. They gave themselves an extra $5 tip. So it was $66.17 instead. The previous charge of $62.77 hasn't been returned to me yet either. They added items to my order that I didn't want so they had to reimburse that charge. Nothing yet. Every time I've ordered there, I've had issues. Sad because the food is actually good. Driver doesn't carry change either. The previous time we ordered, driver was supposed to bring our change. This was by far the worst dining experience we have ever had. We were a group of 8 seated outdoors and though there were only a few diners inside, the waitress seemed to forget about us. From the time we sat to the time we go salad, was about one hour. Then we went inside to ask for bread and water and that was another 25 wait. Then our food came but you honestly wouldn't know what was what by looking at the plate. We ordered lasagna and chicken pesto and the presentation was awful. Our waitress also mixed up the kids' order but that was the least of our worries (we sent back the extra cheeseburger but still got charged for it). We kept sending children inside to ask for ketchup, water, the bill, etc snd every request seemed to be completely dismissed until it was made repeatedly. Mizza makes a very decent pizza, and, if you find yourself at the Lakeville Town Grove, they are glad to deliver to you right on the beach. Much easier than collecting a herd of kids and taking them to the pizzeria. read more

No matter what you deliver it always takes over 2 HOURS for it to be delivered... I almost wonder why I bother giving them my business when they are so unprofessional. The food is good. First time here and loving it. The Chicken Florentine on a bed of spaghetti is out of this world. And coupled with the Albanian salad (a kind of chopped Greek salad) and a small pesto pizza made this my new favorite spot even though I live in the East Village of Manhattan. I'm a little embarrassed to write that on top of all this food my girlfriend was curious about the chocolate spoon cake. We ordered it and nearly fell out of our chairs. Yum! What a great little spot to eat. This is our second time here and we'll most definitely be back! Stopped for a quick lunch today and we were pleased with everything from the service to the food. It wasn't crowded, it was air conditioned (which was great because it was HOT today), and it's very clean (including the bathrooms). Service was quick and so friendly. We had the Albanian salad which was so simple but so delicious! Very refreshing and light. I can't wait to get it again. Also had grinders...my husband had the meatball and I had ham. Both were very good, but can we just talk about the BREAD? Seriously....my goodness it's soooooo good. It's homemade and made the perfect grinder. I have gone here several times, and after reading the reviews for this pizza (and everything else imaginable) place, I have to wonder if any of these people have ever been to New York or New Haven (or even to Cumberland Farms). The first time we went here we got three pizzas and some mozzarella sticks - the toppings were okay, but the sauce was sketchy and the cheese and the crust were awful, we ended up throwing the mozzarella sticks away. The second time we ordered 8 pizzas - still sketchy and it took over an hour to get them delivered, but when this place is the only one in town (that's edible), you just have to bite the bullet when you have a house full of people and it's too hot to cook. The biggest issue I have with this place is the ordering. The lady who answers the phone is difficult to understand, and she doesn't seem to understand anyone else either. Every time I have called in the order she has gotten our order and our address for delivery wrong. I think Mizza's could save a lot of money and time if they hired a student to take those orders. Mizza's is a necessary evil as it is the only place to go with edible pizza in town. read more

Stopped by Mizza's for a low key dinner while visiting the area for the weekend. We ate outside because we were able to bring our dog. I had the chicken piccata, which was excellent! Very moist, flavorful and big portion. The taste surpassed my expectations. My partner had a cheesy calzone. The staff and locals were very friendly.
