Really really good for a town-oriented NY Style pizzeria in the Northwest Hills. Has everything "pizza joints" have, but they simply do it a little better/nicer. Dine-in or take-out. The experience is what you would hope in a more populated area. Cozzy's does not try to be anything other than what it is. Really good food. Top of their dining segment quality. Great pizza. It's not inexpensive. However, compared to some in the expanded local area, the food is worth the little extra. Love coming here. read more

Cozzy's consistently has delicious pizza. We usually take ours to go. I'm a big fan of the white pizza aka Bianco. The tomato, pesto and garlic is one of my favorites that I return to frequently. I've also enjoyed the Caprese. The crust is just the right thickness for my taste. The staff doing check out are helpful and pleasant to deal with each time I've been there. People do eat inside the restaurant regularly and in the summer I've seen people at the tables outside. If you've never stopped in, give it a try. read more

Let's start with the good- They've got a very solid BLT pizza. I'm always on the lookout for a BLT pizza ever since Paisans closed many years ago. (IYKYK) The not so good- The consistency of how your pizza is cooked isn't great. Who doesn't love a good NY slice cooked to perfection? I'd give a little leeway if a large cheese and a large pepperoni didn't cost almost $50. I would say their salads and pizzas are fine. Albeit unmemorable, Cozzy's menu may satisfy your salad or pizza cravings should you have them. That said, I can't help calling out that Cozzy's always gives the impression of being inconvenienced when you engage in an actual dialogue with them. I ordered a sub sandwich and the chicken was very rubbery like it was frozen then thrown in a microwave. Service was okay. When I paid I said thank you and the girl just looked at me and said nothing. After a long day on the slopes Cozzy's Pizzeria was an delicious way to end the day. My party of eight called ahead of time to make sure we would be good to dine in due to covid restrictions. Cozzy's was very welcoming. We ordered a mashup of cheeseburgers, Philly cheesesteak, veggie lovers pizza, fries and a few liters of soda. Everything was good! The food did not taste frozen and fake. Presentation was suitable, the pizza was delicious. We all left full and ready for a nap. I would highly recommend Cozzy's for good food and fast service. We came here for lunch today and it was our first time here. I liked it here. You go up to the counter and order and then they bring the food out to you. I was a little bit concerned that the pizza would be not so good but I need not have worried. The reason I was concerned is because honestly there aren't many reviews on this place. We chose it because we happen to be right near it and were in the mood for pizza or at least I was. Also our options were limited because many of the restaurants in the area seem to close in the afternoons and then re-open for dinner on Saturdays. So since we were in the area and the reviews that there were seeing positive, we decided to try it out. So it's casual inside but cute. I ordered a pepperoni small pizza and my dining companion decided to get chicken fingers. We also ordered garlic knots. Garlic knots are not an appetizer that I order all that regularly. I find that most places don't know how to make them. Inevitably, garlic knots turn out to be quite greasy and one tastes the grease more than the taste of the knots. And that is why I am so impressed that this restaurant really made good knots. Man, they were awesome. Cozzy's deserves a shout out for that because I don't know too many places that really make great garlic knots that are not at all greasy and just have a wonderful overall flavor but they did. The pizza itself is quite good and it was the perfect amount of cheese and sauce without having too little or too much of one or the other. My dining companion liked his chicken fingers although he really wasn't all that hungry so he only had a couple and he took the rest home. I should also mention if you are not in the mood for pizza or chicken fingers, their menus really large. They have wraps and sandwiches and burgers and other Italian dishes. It was not a small menu at all so I am sure most people will be able to find something that they like. All in all it was a good experience there. I would like to try some of the other restaurants around but I will say if you're looking for pizza and you're looking for a casual ambience, I can't imagine it being much better then Cozzy's . We are really glad we picked this place and the service was very warm and friendly as well. read more

Ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza. Expected a white pizza, wanted a white pizza but when I got home it was red, so my expensive specialty pizza didn't get eaten. Best pizza in Kent. We went twice in one week (don't judge!) and found the pizza to be consistent. The crust is well done, is cooked thoroughly and has a nice crispy crust. The garden salad is fresh and not an iceberg leaf in sight. Ingredients are fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive. One night the owner was there and is a very nice man. Pizza is amazing but their salads suck. I ordered chicken caesar salad with no croutons. The chicken was dried out and definitely not "grilled". It came with cut up pieces of bread that I guess were supposed to be croutons and the parmesan cheese wasn't shaved like in traditional caesar salads but looked like it came from the green can you find in the grocery store. Everything at this pizzeria is insanely yummy!!! The only place in town where you can get a single slice of pizza too. The entire menu is made from scratch. Some of my favorite things are the cheese fries and their buffalo chicken tenders. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu! Love this place!! read more

Second chance tonight. First night we tried to order a Margarita pizza and were told the kitchen was out of mozzarella. Tonight, no warnings, so we tried again. There is 1 basil leaf on the pizza, really, one, too much sauce and the pizza was cold. When we picked the pizza up, there was no one in the restaurant and no cars parked outside. They told us 20 minutes when we called the order in. My guess is it was ready in 10 and sat out on the counter. Last note, garlic should not be the most identifiable ingredient in a margarita pizza. Guess it is because they were out of basil. read more

I am from NYC and having worked in a top-rated pizzeria for many years, I find Cozzy's pizza a bit on the mediocre side. The pies are over-cooked; they also use a little too much flour, and not enough cheese. The sauce is a bit watery and lacks oomph. It seems they keep the oven too hot, I can tell just by sitting in the sitting area that the oven is at least 50-75 degrees hotter than it should be from the heat in the building. They also put their smaller pies in the back of the oven, which runs hotter than the front or lower ovens; this results in the dough becoming too stiff and makes the cheese too hot & oily, often burning the top of one's mouth. I encourage the pizzeria to experiment with the oven temperatures, as each oven has a sweet spot of its own. Smaller pies should be cooked in the lower oven, regular pies on top, and pies with toppings toward the back of the top oven with heating slices or rolls toward the front. Increase the batter dough balls by a few grams so the slice isn't so thin, and add a little extra cheese in the middle of the pie. With these changes they could go from mediocre to delicious, a pizza that will win over even the most discerning of palates. read more
