They will not hold up their end of the agreement but will villanize you anyways. I can careless if I'm being paid when temp work value comes from experience not money(though yes money is important). So if theres no experience to be gained why am I here? It's insulting. I'd rather slave a way at a retail job in between work than inflate the pompous ideology the recruiters hold towards potential applicants. My experience with Robert Half/Accountemps has been nothing short of stellar. I did not know what to expect when I reached out to Robert Half, but Joseph Sapida, Jonathan Sanchez, and Dominque were great when it came to getting me placed in my current position. I live and go to school in Orange County, CA, but I originally applied at the Torrance office looking for employment and spoke with Joseph. Joseph normally places people for work in the Los Angeles area, but he personally connected me to a Robert Half location closer to Orange County, which began the process of me getting hired. He could have just given me the run around because I wouldn't be looking for work in his area, but he recommended an office closer to Orange County to minimize any potential commute in the event that I was hired for a position. All three kept me in the loop in reference to how their placement process worked, and kept me in the loop about jobs they were trying to place me into...they didn't just toss me to the wolves per se. The same day Joseph forwarded my information, I received a call from Jonathan at the Cerritos office and within a few days, was placed into the exact position I was looking for. They have passion for what they do and it shows in how they treat prospective employees. Once I was placed, Joseph, Jonathan, and Dominque regularly followed up with me via text/phone, just to make sure that the work environment was a good fit, personality wise...and I can say that it is a perfect fit. This location of Robert Half is not good, with unprofessional recruiters who don't really listen to you as a candidate. They only care about the markup they make with their clients. My experience was years ago with a guy named Anh Do and I will never forget it. The guy paid me 40% of what he billed the client and lied so much and loved to corner his candidate. Imagine getting paid $12/hour while your recruiter billed the company you worked for $30/hour, so basically they're making $18/hour on you for every hour you work without doing anything. Make sure you understand how these crooks work at this type of staffing agency and negotiate your pay. Otherwise, AVOID them at all costs!!!!! read more

I had just moved out from a rough situation and finished my degree and to top it off, I needed work badly and was having trouble finding something that paid more than minimum wage. The wonderful Torrance branch of Office Team really helped me get back on my feet during that time of my life. If you are looking for work or need to get some experience, there is absolutely no reason not to work with this organization while you job hunt. You will make some money, receive support from the friendly and professional staff (shout out to Elizabeth Stadler for being super cool even during a pandemic), and accrue EXPERIENCE. This is your foot in the door if you want to get a forever job but do not have as much experience as other candidates. A lot of people complain that their assignments are not permanent and I understand that since permanent employment is the dream, but this is a temp agency so it kind of goes without saying that not all of the assignments will be permanent. I would say that the app they just rolled out is pretty cool too. It is great for updating your timesheets on the go. I will be frank, the job listings in the app are a bit lost to the void and you will get a better understanding of what is available to you if you speak to a recruiter directly. Take the time to do that since they are ready and willing to help you out if you work with them. I would say my overall experience with this organization was pretty good and I would recommend it for anyone else who needs a hand during tough times. read more

I began working with officeteam a few years ago, to be honest this was my first time ever going to an agency to find a job. At first i was shy and not really having a clue if this was the best option for me. Regardless i submitted my resume, and the following day i received a call from vanessa garcia. She gave me the option of 3 interviews with her. Either phone, via webcam or in person. When i heard how genuine these options were from the tone of her voice i felt comfortable. From the reviews ive seen they're really old and looks like the individuals that posted them are "entitled" to some odd philosophy and dont comprehend the meaning of a temp agency and obviously their expectations were crushed. Sometimes some positions are filled and you have to have patience which i see alot of individuals do not have. i had a really amazing professional experience with both and now its completely different. The experience I had here is exactly why people try to avoid staffing agencies. Being unemployed means we don't have time or gas/money to waste, but why would they care? I was contacted by a recruiter with a position that would be "perfect" for me. Per the recruiters request, I hauled myself and my two year old daughter down for an interview. The position I was being considered for was interviewing the following morning and the recruiter didn't want to waste any time. I spent about an hour with the recruiter. He said my resume had been transferred to him by another branch and my name was on the top of the list. By the end of our meeting he had scheduled my job interview and requested that extend my resume and forward it to him. He said he would "fix" it and "you won't be sorry". He also said he would be sending it to my interview the following morning. He also presented several other jobs, including one working for Robert Half. I arrived at my job interview the next morning and the supervisor had not received my resume. I also did not have a resume with me because I did not want to present them a resume that differs from the "fixed" resume they were supposed to receive. Immediately, the interview was a failure. I sent a message to the recruiter immediately after leaving the interview. I requested that my resume be forward and additional information on the other possibilities we had discussed. I never received a response or any other form of contact. This was approximately one month ago. I wasted my time. I wasted my money. I wasted my gas. I have a two year old to care for, companies/people like this should be ashamed of themselves. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! read more

I had just graduated from college and did not have too much experience working. That made it very hard for me get an interview, much less get a job offer. I reached 6 months into unemployment before I decided to look for a staffing agency. A little after, I found officeteam and I decided to work with them. My only regret was that I didn't find them sooner. OfficeTeam was able to find me a job in 2 weeks. At first, they offered me some unattractive part-time positions and I rejected them all because I wanted a fulltime job. But they had a lot of opportunities for me and called me on a consistent basis. After the 2nd week, they found 2 full-time positions for me. I interviewed for both of them (both great companies btw) and I was offered a position after my first interview. It was a temp to permanent position, meaning they will decide if they will fully hire you after 3 months of work. I chose to accept the position. This was my first full time job after college and I worked hard and did my very best to make myself helpful to the company. That wass very important. It has been 4 months since then and I am a official full-time employee who gets very decent pay. OfficeTeam is the worst temp agency I have dealt with. I have contacted more than 1 location and they all equally have the worst service. I emailed my resume and not one person called me back. I have great office experience, over 7 years supporting executives and office support and a college degree and they ignore me. Other staffing agency always call me and want to work with me because of my experience. If they treat me someone with excellent experience like this I would only imagine how they treat those with less or little experience. I would avoid all OfficeTeam offices like the plague. read more

This Staffing Agency OfficeTeam and Robert Half parent company and especially this office location but other locations now too have been the best I have been registered with. Usually I interviews and do testing for staffing agencies and do not hear anything back. I have gotten multiple assignments through them and my staffing manager Vanessa Garcia has reached out to me often to let me know she is still keeping me in mind and checks to see if I am available periodically. Unlike other staffing agencies that always want you to keep updating them weekly with your status. Vanessa thanks again for all your help in the past with trying to get me assignments. You have been the best staffing agency representative I have ever had in Vanessa. I just want to reiterate or clarify this location is especially wonderful because of Ms. Vanessa Garcia. Thanks for all your wonderful help. I do agree though that this location and others could do a better job with letting you know when assignment will be done. Since with my first assignment with them which ended up being a long term assignment I only found out my last day when I asked Human Resources at my job site about what their plans were for me since I knew assignment was coming to a close possibly in next few weeks. I was told oh your assignment is ending tomorrow didn't your agency let you know. I replied no I wasn't informed and still wasn't informed till I contacted office to let them know my assignment was done. Most of my assignments since then had a set time period for me to complete a project so I knew approximately when assignment would be over. But I still do not fault them to harshly regarding the lack of notice for assignment end date since they have found me assignments and at least I am earning money unlike with other staffing agencies I am registered with.
