It has been years since I've used Select's services, because I switched to Apple One. IMy recent positive experience with Apple One made me remember how the quality of candidates coming from Select was so much more inferior. I have hired temps from Select on three different occasions. The first temp was a good employee, but became unreliable, taking a lot of last-minute time-off due to family emergencies. As much as I can sympathize as a mom, as an employer, I had to let her go. The second temp was also a good worker, but didn't seem like she could acclimate to the demands of the position (Admin. Asst. / Acct. Exec.). She was perfectly fine as an assistant, but I needed someone who would be able to grow and actually learn how the company operates. Therefore, she was unable to fulfill her role as an Acct. Exec.. The third temp ended up being a thief, stealing & using credit card info from the owner's personal files, and then disappearing. We reported back to Select but was given no assurance that proper background checks were performed on these candidates and that was when we stopped using their services. Apple One has been a complete 180. A1 pays attention to the employer's objectives and doesn't waste my time [MONEY] with under-qualified candidates. A1 even gives guaranties to replace an employee at no cost if the originally placed employee doesn't work out for any reason (within a specific time frame, of course). I wouldn't depend on Select Staffing if my life depended on it as far as making a living, first I was sent out to Lakeshores, not everyone has warehouse experience as for as picking, packing, shipping and receiving, the office staff is very rude and Jasmin Bejar is the worst of them all, she gives me the impression of a princess that doesn't want to be bothered with too many applicants and she gave me the impression of being beneath her and the only gthing I can do is just move on since I don't to waste their time or they waste my time by giving me the run around! read more

First it's the Website Stupid ! While I was filling out their application, it Quit then Stated (YOU HAVE BEEN REJECTED ! ). The entire time the pages would stop loading and crash . She is really on top of her work and always got back to me when she said she would. Jasmin checked in with me frequently until i found i job which i really appreciate the time she took to do that. I definitely should've taken the advice from the reviews below. I went there and Michelle helped me out. Very vague with explaining the job, very bland when answering questions. Seems like they just want to send you anywhere whether or not you will be good fit or not. All they offer is warehouse jobs when in reality there is office jobs available they can place you at but they never tell you that. I've been to this office 3 different times and no one ever mentioned it. Especially being a woman, I don't understand why you wouldn't lay out all the options on the table. Very unsympathetic regardless of your situation. I'm assuming they get some type of incentive for the number of ppl they sign up for assignments. It would make sense why they don't try to get to know you or your background to make sure you sent to the most appropriate job based off your experience. I can say Dorri is VERY NICE, and seems to have a heart. Unlike Michelle. When you call their office they all appear to be very nice. Just beware. I have had such a great experience dealing with select staffing especially Jasmin. I sent her my resume and a week later I was going on an interview and about a week after that got hired. Jasmin is very polite and energetic, you can definitely tell she loves and cares about her job. She answered any and all questions I had and I didn't feel like I was a bother to her. If I could not give a rate at all IT WOULD BE NICE. Do not come here. I have been to plenty employment agencies and this has been by far the worse when it comes to caring about people. They are rude over the phone and have no type patience. In that case they need to find another job where they won't deal with helping people who are serious about trying to get money for a living! To be honest I seen the reviews & thought about coming in , but we all have our own opinion and I always know theirs ALWAYS two sides to a story . I wanted to go in and see for myself and I'm very glad I did . My experiences with select staffing was nothing compare to others experience they were all very nice and had good manners when walking in everyone seemed very polite , Jasmin was very helpful and understood how badly I needed this job , she really put in the effort and took the time to find me a job that fitted my past work history. Do not work at this place unless you are looking for a headache and more stress on your plate. Ever since I started working there they never gave me a job longer than a week never wanted to work with me and continued to be rude everytime I begged for another shift tried to switch with paramount but my assignment that was supposed to only be 1 day didn't end yet michelle never wanted to work with what I wanted just gave me a shift and was upset when I called and said I'm unfit for that position . Didn't mind cause I'm willing to work and learn I loved to work but working with people you have to compromise and understand what your employees are asking for she should not be there.
