Yesica was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. After a few days of nothing I get a text from Claudia asking me to come in for a second interview at 10:00am at 1:00pm not even 24 hour notice. Okay, whatever I just have three hours to find a sitter quick get myself ready for an interview, get my one year ready and make sure my dog is feed. Most importantly get my Child is dropped off and taken care off last notice and be there for the interview before 1pm. Parents you get were I'm coming from anyways, I really wanted this job so, let's do this. It's my chance to prove that even with little to no notice I can be on time. I will how serious I am about working for them and how realible I can be . My second interview went great. Claudia , stated she would call me at end of day that same day. She even repeated it said it twice. I heard nothing from her! I decided to text her as that's how we have been communicating, that she said she would call me today. I'll call her then I need to know if I got it or not before New Years so I wouldn't be in doubt and enjoy the holidays. She responded about two weeks later and tells me that I've been selected. That they are going with me but I mind waiting a while because they hire another person for a different position and want to get her train first before they can start to train me. I exciting accept. Sure no problem. And basically saying I hope she can give me an estimate time frame as to when I can start. This was Nov 29 it's now Dec 4 and I still heard nothing. I called them the first week of December and basically been ghost after they have hired me! I'm in disbelief on how unprofessional a staffing company can be. These business are in place to help people get employment . I get a call at the end of February! Job was offered verbally on November 29th. I get a call and then a text asking if I was going to be able to start as a recruiter assistant literally 2 month later after being verbally offered the position! Lol. You think I have time to wait for $18 an hour job while I have bills and a baby to care for. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. For people looking to find assistances in finding employment. I do not recommend this job agency. I am now a human resources recuritor and makes way more than what this company offered me and had the decency to treat me the way I was treated. I would never treat people looking for employment this way. I know how it is to be stressed out and not knowing how you are going to pay your rent and holding and declined other jobs for a company who has the balls to call me up to come in to work two months after the verbal offer was offered. I was going to be a direct internal employee! Imagine how they treat other candidates they are trying to hire for other hiring managers (warehouses)?!

I must have submitted my resume into a dozen job agency ads/websites, various online portals (Monster, Ziprecruiter, LinkedInetc) and spoke with many representatives while visiting their offices. Over time, the search became repetitive and discouraging, as it stretched longer than anticipated and I was getting the same dead-end responses from recruiters. It was a breath of fresh air when Elite Placement reached out to me. Right away I noticed the differences in their service. John and his team are certainly the experts that were there to support, ready to communicate, and sincerely want to go above and beyond to find the right job for me. My main contact was John. He was very professional, stayed transparent and accessible to answer any/all questions via email and phone. This was comforting for me because I was not familiar with the "temp to hire" process and I had moments when it was easy to let negatives creep into my thoughts. Please note it is so important to not give up or settle for any offers that are on the table especially if it doesn't fullfill all your requirements. From my first conversation with John to the time I received my official offer letter, it took a total of 6 months. A lot of sacrificing and adjustments were made along the way, but John and his team stayed supportive and encouraging the entire time. Remember that they are on your side! I feel really lucky to have found Elite Placement Group. It is a wonderful feeling and a great sense of accomplishment when finally signing that offer letter. I now hold a position that aligns with my career and within the company of my top choice. I am beyond happy and this is the best gift I can receive right before the Holidays. While I didn't wind up doing any temp gigs in that time (my program was too demanding), I did continue to get their emails with potential job listings, which I liked as it kept me in the loop about what was out there. After graduating last year I began my job search and last month decided to check in with Glocap and see what they had to offer. I updated my profile on their site and adjusted my email preferences so that I received the emails with the job listings that were best suited for me and my skill set/experience. At the end on May this year I submitted to one of the positions that was emailed and soon after was contacted by Miriyah who coordinated my first interview with Glocap in Century City. She was helpful and sweet and lovely to work with and promptly emailed me the info for my interview. On the day of my interview I first met with her briefly and we covered some basic information and then I had my in-depth interview with Brock, who would become my main contact at Glocap. He was friendly and we discussed the position I had applied to, my skills, my ideal work environment, etc. Later that week Brock got me the interview with the perspective employer of the position I had applied for. I was very pleased with the detailed and prompt email I received from him with all the info I needed for the job interview. I got the job, which began on the temp side and within two weeks received a full-time offer. It all happened very fast, but I believe that came from it being a good fit, that was realized by all parties involved. My whole experience with Glocap, Brock, and Miriyah was very positive and successful and I highly recommend them.

Wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone and was a general waste of precious time. One recruiter, Anthony V. is literally unstable and harassed me on the sabbath last year; browbeating me for all but an hour all because I reached out to retrieve my personal belongings from the temp company instead of burdening 11th hour with trivial matters. But to his defense his Mother was in the hospital so I guess it's certainly understandable but otherwise unprofessional to use your very client as a surrogate punching bag for the evening. I guess bypassing the temp agency to get your things is taboo, but this policy was never really made clear. And In all honesty, if someone gets their feathers ruffled for trying to communicate with them, their anger is terribly misplaced. Btw, Anthonys broadside against me was simply by the fact he had to squander the companies money to order me a courier for my wrist rest. This is precisely why I simply communicated to the company directly. No! We wouldn't want to communicate now, do we? Hollywood communication breakdown indeed.
