The neighborhood where this JobSource is strategically placed, is a great location serving the needs of the unfortunate unemployed. And though I may not be a resident of that Huntington Park area, that didn't stop JobSource from saying "HELLO, how may we help you!" I went to JobSource to complete my Application process that I began at their Lincoln Heights facility. The Huntington Park Staff here was fast, courteous, professional, and very busy. "If you're so satisfied," you say, "Then why the FOUR Stars and not Five?" Well, I'll tell ya! Remember initially I said I don't dole out compliments so easily? Remember? This place typically offers factory jobs for men or women, or warehouse for men. Most, if not all the applicants, were Spanish speaking only which made the experience all the more uncomfortable and as you can imagine, and aggravating from the uncommunicative employees. Once half of us went inside the male workers were talking casually like they were hanging out meanwhile there was a lobby full of desperate people looking for a job. One guy even sighed out loud like his job was horrible, when obviously these people needed help. Once ANOTHER 30 minutes or so went by with a mere few people being helped, I asked what was going on. I was told they were playing catch up from the day prior before they could help everyone inside. If you want a factory job and have the time and patience for this kind of service... then this place is for you. After I was told I could have something clerical, being that I'm educated and experienced, it was a false claim. The next day I was informed that I got a job at a factory. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I was recommended to come as a last resort but I wouldn't come again.
