I can't begin to say enough good things about Janet Semino, Adrienne Barbee, and the rest of the wonderful recruiters at Matura Farrington. One brief Yelp review won't fully sum up just how indebted I am to these two wonderful women, but it's the least that I can do:

One of the all-too-common pitfalls of working through a staffing agency is that feeling that you're a means to an end - that you're little more than an expendable piece of meat thrown on a conveyor belt that carries you from one job placement to the next.
I should know - I've had downright dreadful interactions with other recruiting agencies in the past couple months. From being given a window of just two hours (!!!) to make a decision on taking an iffy temporary position, to being passed over-the-phone from one recruiter, to another, to another's voicemail...I generally regard working with staffing agencies as a total nightmare. In the case of many other staffing firms, it becomes readily obvious that the recruiters themselves couldn't care less about your personal & professional well-being, and that you're nothing more than a means through which they'll receive their commission.
Such is not the case with Matura Farrington.

+ I must give credit where it is due - and that credit, in this case, lies largely with the efforts of Janet and Adrienne. These ladies worked tirelessly to seek out potential positions that were tailor-made for my academic and working skill set; I never once felt as though I was being rushed into a hasty decision or placed into consideration for roles that I was unqualified for. Throughout the recruiting process, both Janet & Adrienne remained in constant contact with me, giving me up-to-the-minute status reports on my pending applications and continually seeking out new job openings for me to pursue. Investing my trust in Janet and Adrienne proved to be easy and seamless, as their upbeat friendliness, attention-to-detail, and willingness to answer the tough questions (with minimal sugarcoating!) all scored high marks in my book.
The Matura Farrington staff also went the extra mile in terms of their interview prep, giving me comprehensive, precise information to ensure that I was never blindsided by or unprepared for any interview process. While the prospect of landing a job lies largely with one's ability to sell his/herself as a candidate, it certainly helps when you've got people in your corner supplying you with the information you'll need to succeed.
+ In the end, what Janet's & Adrienne's tremendous efforts resulted in for me was a placement in a position that I couldn't be more thrilled & happy about. The staff at Matura Farrington managed to secure a permanent, growth-focused, challenging, and rewarding position for me at a company that I'm thrilled and humbled to be working for. Not a day has gone by in my first few weeks of employment where I haven't been saying a quick "Thank You" in my head for what Janet, Adrienne, and Matura Farrington have helped provide me with.

For those getting cold feet when it comes to working with staffing firms - believe me, I know exactly how you feel right now. That being said, do yourself a favor and see what Matura Farrington can do for you. The recruiters here have a genuine, vested interest in bringing about your immediate and long-term success.
