Extremely nasty rude attitude with an accent (it's people like her who give latinos a bad rep within the conservative community and those who want to diminish the Latino cause). AnDek Staffing is run by bad people! What they do is advertise fake jobs, with the sole purpose of getting you to come in and fill out an application to get their worker inventory up. I saw an ad on craigslist, and went to a job fair to find out more about the job. Jesse, the recruiter I dealt with, immediately said without asking any questions, you are hired. Then he said to go to the home office and fill out an application, to which I did. I found this strange that they would select me for a job, not knowing anything about me, but I was desperate. After I went to fill out the application, I tried to reach Jesse several times. He never returned my calls. I wasn't born yesterday, so its obvious I was taken advantage of. Please don't make the same mistake I did, and stay away from this evil company. read more

Love the agency, I've worked with a few but the folks at AnDek really push to get you placed, they call and actually follow through with you about positions that fit what you're looking for. No wasted time, went in there and didn't have to sit and fill out the same information others agencies ask you to, then just be ignored. I have had a few experiences with staffing agencies and I must say that the team at AnDek Staffing has been the best by far. From the beginning of the process and all the way through my placement at a great job for a reputable company (which took only about a week), AnDek made it known that they were there for me, by way of their touch of personal service. My initial contact was with Judy. I appreciated the fact that she tried to make it easier for me when scheduling my initial appt. to interview & fill out all of the standard new hire agreements, disclosures, etc. Since I live in LA County and AnDek is in OC, Judy was considerate of the traffic and set up an appt. when there would be less traffic. Karla, the office coordinator has also been very helpful. She always does her best to answer any questions/concerns I have in an extremely timely manner. Same goes for Karen in Payroll. And finally - my recruiter Kori - I can tell by her work ethic that she truly takes the mission statement of AnDek, to heart. I have been working for the same employer for the past 11 years and he will be retiring very soon. It's been years since I've had to deal with resumes & interviews, so I was a bit nervous and Kori definitely made the process easier. It was obvious from our first meeting that she knows what she is doing and I am very blessed to have her on my side. Kori was very thorough in explaining the job and the company that I was interviewing for, as well as the expectations. My initial contact with AnDek began when they reached out to me on Oct 19, I met with Kori at her office on the following Monday (10/22) and she was able to get me an interview later that same day and exactly ONE week later, I began working! This is just to show how fast Kori and her team work in getting their clients into the work force! One last thing that I'd like to point out, to show just how much AnDek does go above and beyond for their clients(employees) - even AFTER I had been offered and accepted a job but BEFORE i actually began working, Kori had notified me that she had another opportunity that, in some aspects, was better than the position I was going to be starting. But when I weighed everything out, I decided the best decision was to stay with the first job offer. ANTI-LGBT establishment. I have plenty of experience and I was told I would potentially start the following day of being contacted. The onboarding paperwork did not work on my android so I came in to the office to complete them. They all made me feel so uncomfortable. Their lack of professionalism and what little knowledge they have sets them apart from every other staffing agency that are at top of their game. I was told by Jesse Hernandez that I would hear back the next day. Two days later, I receive a call from a different recruiter from this office who had no idea I was already in contact with them. I told her this and she claimed she would follow up with Jesse and give me an update. Nothing yet and it has been a whole week. Clearly they don't offer jobs to transgenders despite my experience that would make me the better candidate for the position offered. I will be consulting my attorney and the DFEH for job discrimination. read more

Jesse was supposed to help find a job, the first one was far out in Lakeforest when I live in Anaheim. I got a terrible cold the first week I started and the company asked me to stay home to not get others sick , so I did that. The day I was supposed to come back I was 3 min late due to traffic and later that day I was asked not to come back, meanwhile they had such unorganized file cabinets that I broke my back filing and making sure were neat soon as I was done they let me go... The second job he had for me was def something i had never done before. I asked for receptionist/admin assistant jobs he gave me a sales rep job, I had no experience in that department! So after some days I was also let go. After that assignment was ended I reached out to Jesse and have not heard back. He said he had some other jobs for me but when I email him he does not reach back out to me and I have been told the same from others who have him as a recruiter! Such an unprofessional individual. AnDek staffing was a nightmare to work with! My recruiter was very polite and nice to work with, but you could tell that her management did not care one bit about their employees. I had brought several matters to the directors attention that happened at my work site. One of which was constantly being physically pushed out of the way by another employee at my work cite. When I reported this matter to the director, he explained that he was documenting everything on AnDek's side of the matter (clearly wasn't) and that he would report the matter to the management of my work cite. Over that weekend, I was then let go from my position and was notified by an email, (not a phone call) on a Sunday that my assignment was ending and did not receive anymore information on why my assignment was ending. I was not offered another job position and then had a difficult time collecting my pay, due to their offices poor communication. I would not recommend anyone working here and suggest they find another staffing company to work with. This post is actually a edited post, because the staff at Andek asked me to write post before I actually started working at my work cite and I did not know this was how they treated their employees. read more
