I arrived for what I believed was a routine crown fitting appointment. Once seated, I was informed…read morethat I would need to be numbed and receive an injection before the fitting. This was never communicated to me beforehand. When I expressed surprise, the hygienist explained that decay needed to be removed before the new crown could be fitted. I responded that I strongly dislike numbing medication because it makes me nauseous and said, "I hate the numbing medication." Shortly afterward, the hygienist left the room. The dentist then returned and informed me that they would no longer have me as a patient because I had allegedly used profanity toward his staff. At no point was my comment directed at the hygienist or any staff member. I was expressing frustration about the medication itself. If my language was a concern, a simple request to avoid profanity would have resolved the issue immediately. Instead, I was dismissed as a patient based on what appears to have been a misunderstanding. I found the situation unprofessional and disappointing, especially as a new patient. Better communication regarding treatment expectations and a more reasonable approach to patient concerns would have gone a long way. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

So much to type so little room... I started going here a while back. But the past 6month I've had…read moreto go somewhere else to fix all the issue this place caused me. I got an unnecessary root canal that failed and had to be redone by another dentist. And cosmetic veneers that I was not properly fit for and broke almost the same day I left there telling them my teeth felt loose still. I had to have my root canal reposted and was lucky I had enough left to even do that. Now I'm on a 10k plus journey to fix the original problem and the damage done by this office. Other than the problematic work I received from this place the staff is very friendly and they at least communicate. Do they give you right or best information no... but they get back to you. I've given this dentist office thousands of dollars my veneers alone were a wasted couple thousand that lasted me less than a month. With the amount I've spent here and having to go thru and have everything completely redone by someone else I wouldn't recommend going here at all.

THANK GOODNESS I went to see Dr. J. in 2020 and we determined together that the pain I off/on experienced must be just clenching/grinding I was unaware of doing. FINALLY some honest and very informative feedback! Long story short: being mindful along with a drugstore mouthguard for during the night sometimes, the pain was indeed gone and I converted my family to this practice immediately. Dr. J's recommended replacement (he's now retired) is as wonderful as I expected too with the staff all just as impressive. I'm so glad I decided to find a well received practice on my own vs. the awful AHCCCS list of providers or I would have had so much unnecessary work done! Do your research! It definitely pays off!!

The quickly squeezed me in and within 15-30 minutes from the time I entered to the time I left it was analyzed and decision made that it held, was solid and "USER ERROR" I.E. ME may have mis-assessed things :) All in All Dr J and team performed admirably and professionally. Another great visit to Dr. Juestesen's Office.
