I first heard about Perla from my cousin's wedding back in June in Woodland Hills area. The service here is beyond amazing since we get to try the samples multiple times. The ambience was nice. It had plenty of seating.

The mais con queso and white coffee flavors were the winners for me and the ube was great... The Louisiana banana is a little bit sweet for me but it did have good flavor, and I love that they use real banana (I found a banana piece as I finished it). I also really like the touch of Filipino family pictures placed on the wall, it gives it a nice homely feel inside. For LA, the price is going to be about what you'd expect, but I would definitely come here again and get myself a waffle cone on a hot day... especially on a Sunday when I tried this place because it's quiet and peaceful outside. I hope to see this business do well
