I definitely should have stood on not returning here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we walked in it seemed pretty slow. Only seen 2 men sitting at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We stood at the host stand where they had a sign that said to ring the bell for service. We rang it and someone came from the kitchen right away to seat us. We were sat near the back of the restaurant but a football game was coming on soon (which they have tv's in the bar area) so I asked if we could be moved to the bar area and she handed me the menus and said to sit where ever (she was nice about it). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did notice a few tables had plates on them, as in haven't been cleaned off from the last party that sat there, no one ever came out to clean those tables the entire duration we stayed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As I mentioned earlier there were 2 men at the bar then us in the restaurant as customers. The bartender/waiter came out and served us, he was cool but would disappear to the kitchen for long periods, when we were ready to pay I had to get up and go to the kitchen to let him know we were ready to pay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One of the men sitting at the bar (by garnishes, bottles and glasses) was coughing and wiping/blowing his nose at the bar and placing the dirty tissues on the bar top which was gross.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The two men went out side a few times to smoke and the guy would come back in coughing even more aggressively and post pandemic that was concerning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As the waiter was bringing our food he could tell we were grossed out and he stood back as the man was coughing before placing our food. He made a comment to us about the guy coughing but didn't say much to him directly. I've never worked in the food industry so I'm not sure how these situations are handled but I was definitely super uncomfortable and eager to leave. Needless to say not my crowd. We ordered the basil fried rice w/ chicken, jalapeños wontons and a few drinks. Rice portion was still iffy especially for the price. The wontons were just okay. Overall I wasn't too impressed.

It has been a LONG time since I've been here. It used to be my favorite Thai place, but that was before I explored other great places MN has to offer. Honestly, it held up. The flavor's are great. However, I ordered Pad See Yew and Drunken Noodle and I honestly could barely tell them apart. I know they are similar dishes, but a little more variation could help. Lastly, I remember the Fried Rice being really good, and that's primarily what I wanted to review... but they forgot my order and I didn't want to correct the issue (luckily I ordered too much anyways). I'd go back.

The spring rolls were light and fresh. I had the pineapple fried rice, it was amazing! Even the left overs were delicious. I cannot wait to come back!

Counting down the days until I return to MN so I can come in for dinner!!! Must try items in my opinion. Sriracha Fried Rice (my all time favorite, and a must order every time) Panang Curry with Chicken Grilled Beef Jerky (Appetizer Menu) Delicious offerings from the Happy Hour Menu: Pork fried spring rolls Cream Cheese Wontons Chicken Satay Calamari Thai dumplings Photos are from the last few visits when I dined in over this past summer. Salivating as I write this post. Must try if you live in the Twin Cities or surrounding area. Or plan a day trip or date night and take a little road trip!!

The interior is very inviting and they have a small bar- not many menu items tickle my fancy - would prob stop by the bar for HH or their patio if in the area but pass on the food

So I had to check it out! I was a first timer and just went with a build your own bowl. It was so damn good. I'm going to be craving this spot again. Definitely will come back and search for other locations. I got half romaine half quinoa with black pepper chicken, cauli, roasted corn, raw cabbage, olives, roasted mushrooms, fresh jalapeños and 2 types of dressings on the side (just in case one wasn't good. lol). The jalapeño green goddess was amazing. But the ranch was so good too, lots of fresh dill in it. I ended up being fat and dumping both in my bowl. It made it so good to balance the quinoa. Idk if it's because I have been up since 4am and haven't eaten or that it was just perfection. But I am going to be dreaming about it all week. lol. I may have to hit them up again soon. Ps the fresh fruit teas are interesting and very low sugar. I was grateful they had sugar packs to add to your likeness. Usually I drink iced tea with no sugar but it tasted off to me without adding a packet. Ps the gal who helped me build my bowl was so patient and did a great job giving me input. Excellent service. Everything looked pretty clean. And they had fresh avocados not the nasty spread crap. Again, I loved it. Would be back. Update: literally the next day I ordered it again when I was in Duluth. lol same exact order. I'm obsessed. It doesn't look overly exciting but the flavors are there. Give it a whirl and thank me later. lol
