I settled for a more understated option, and while it was perfectly alright, at $10 a drink, I'm expecting something memorable not just mediocre. That said, the person helping us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the different options and spoke very enthusiastically about the drinks. Despite there being a huge line, our drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time. Ultimately, the price was the dealbreaker for me. Good coffee and great service, but I'm not sure the experience justifies the $10 / drink price tag .

Not only is their house roasted coffee the best in the valley, the preparation is consistently fantastic. The service is unmatched. My aunt insists on going every time she visits us, because Michael, one of the baristas, is so lovely. He remembers her every time. He found my husband's hat that he had left there and saved it under the counter until the next time we came in. Their house made pastries are insane. I dream of their sour cream coffee cake and ham and gruyère hand pies. Don't even get me started on their soft pretzel. Everything is crafted to perfection, including the atmosphere. Cozy (not sterile like many third wave places) without being cluttered. Perfect lighting. Good music.
