So many open spots and they try to put me right next to someone. Luckily they were able to move me. I will never understand that business model. Easy check in, lots of room on our site, the bathrooms were clean but the shower never got hot. Overall good experience. I would be back.

I can't say enough good things about this RV park. Let me start with the location. From your site you can walk out into the expansive desert for miles. There is red rock formations, walking paths, and beautiful views in every direction. The out buildings are new and well-kept. The front desk staff is nice and helpful. The front office offers many delicious beverages and snacks (even Kevita!). They have delicious local coffee and non-dairy creamer. The whole place is amazing! The reason behind the "4-stars" is the internet is non-existent. They say they have WiFi, but the signal is so weak it is unable to do anything at your unit. With so much to do outside, it seems silly to report on this fact, however, it is nice to be able to back-up photos or update the phone. Also, check out the sites before committing to one as many are un level with a large bump to get into your site or a huge down slope.

Pulled into our RV campsite and was greeted by Jared who was friendly and very helpful with maps and info. Our stay was quiet with a gorgeous view from all sides of our RV. Showers, laundry facilities, and bathrooms were heated and there was plenty of hot water to go around. Laundry was inexpensive $1.50 to wash and a $1.50 to dry. Also, I accidentally called the office a couple days later, and at my surprise, TJ return my missed call to ask if I needed assistance. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was! We went to the horseshoe canyon and lower antelope.Thank you to the staff and the beautiful grounds.

    Beautiful!

This is a brand new park so there aren't many reviews yet so I wanted to make sure and leave one. This place is beautiful! The park, the bathrooms, the views are amazing. Not everything is open because it's winter time and new but even so it is great. The campsites are a nice size with full hookups. I stayed by the dog park and the views are beyond beautiful from that end. The bathrooms were warm with laundry facilities. There is also a dining table there which was nice to have extra room to eat dinner because we have a tiny trailer. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I am definitely going to go back.

On top of that, the "amenities" that you are paying for with their high prices are not even available during the winter. No hot tub. No pool, (understandably of course). This review is basically only about their tent spots and their fees for them. I do not recommend this place for tent campers nor for van people. Especially during the winter months. I reserved a dry tent site for $50 after taxes. It had no picnic table so I had to steal the one from the very close by neighbor campsite because there is nothing between sites. I tried the faucet and realized why the website said dry. The restrooms and showers were well kept and very clean as others have said. I'll give them that. They have a laundry room, but 75% of the machines were not working. The basic tent campsites are next to a parking lot with very bright lights as well as by the road where you hear every vehicle. They have "glamping tent" spots that are nothing to brag about with no privacy between the adjacent lots. They need to charge a lot less for the tent spots. Both the "glamping" and the $40 basic. Especially during the winter months!! They don't even have a veteran's discount at this location. I should have just slept in my van by the side of the road and paid $10 for a shower here. Only good part is that I found a great Italian deli in town that made this stop worth it.

What an amazing campground!…read more We spent a week here in October 2025 and fell in love with the campground!! Wonderful friendly staff!! Can't say enough about Ashley who checked in on our fur babies while we out exploring the area! She is professional but yet treated our 2 standard poodles like they were hers. We were out longer than expected, sent her a text saying we would be later than expected. Ashley went and checked on our girls providing true peace of mind!! I wish more campgrounds offered pet setting services. This is a wonderful place for photographers and astronomers of all levels. So much to see and do!

The amenities alone stand out--clean, well-lit facilities, warm showers, and even heated floors (yes, heated floors!). Everything is thoughtfully provided on an honor system, which adds to the welcoming, trusting atmosphere. When we arrived, we realized we had accidentally booked our stay one day too early. Instead of turning us away, they graciously offered us a boondocking spot and invited us to a once-a-week complimentary dinner for all guests. It turned into a wonderful evening around the fire pit, connecting with fellow travelers. Meeting the owners was an added highlight--they were as warm and inviting as the meal they shared. We feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this special place in the middle of such a beautiful desert.

So glad we did! After several days of driving, hiking, and kayaking, it was really nice to finally sit down and enjoy a relaxing dinner. There's also a Native shop attached to the restaurant, which was fun to browse through before eating. The restaurant itself is toward the back, and the restrooms are conveniently located nearby, so I was able to freshen up and change before dinner after being outdoors all day. I ordered the deluxe cheeseburger combo, which totally hit the spot, while my friend got the beef stew with Native fry bread. I'll admit, I was a little jealous when I saw her dish because it looked so warm and comforting after the chilly weather and all the kayaking and hiking we had done earlier that day! Thankfully she let me try the fry bread, and it was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was great, and it ended up being the perfect way to wrap up our Arizona trip. Definitely recommend stopping here to fill up on gas and grab a good sit-down meal while passing through!

The night sky is overwhelmingly gorgeous, and I can't remember lovelier stars than here. If only Van Gogh had visited. As it's the desert, the summer is overwhelmingly hot. Also, the flies that come with the horses next door visit often, but we kept them at bay with our fan and fly swatters, and the scenery won out over the flies. The horses next door are a separate business but were actually great, and conveniently you can book different rides times right from the camp store. The bathhouses were sparkling, the laundry was conveniently next door. The bathhouse/laundry lighting was clever enough to be visible yet not detract from the stars. There are places on this earth that don't feel entirely claimed by man where the air sits heavier,…read morewhere silence hums just a little too loud. Havasupai Falls is one of those places. Now listen I'm gonna tell you straight. You can hike it, sure. Strap on your pack, bake in that canyon heat, follow the mules and the dust like you're reenacting some pioneer tragedy. Or... you take the helicopter. Drop in like you've got better sense than the rest of 'em. Because when you're only staying a night, you don't waste half your trip pretending you enjoy suffering. You get there quick, boots on the ground, eyes wide open. And what waits for you... ain't normal. The water this unreal shade of blue, like someone spilled paint straight outta heaven itself cuts through red rock like it's been there since before memory had a name. The canyon walls stand tall, watching. Always watching. You can feel it. Not in a poetic way... in a you're not alone kind of way. The people there, the tribe they carry a quiet presence. Like they know something they're not in a hurry to explain. Respectful, grounded... but there's history in their eyes. Old history. Night comes different down there. The fire was crackling low. Shadows stretching just a little too far, bending where they shouldn't. That's when I saw it. Across the canyon, tucked behind a tree like it didn't quite understand hiding... something big. Hairy. Not a trick of the light. Not a deer. Not a man. It stood there. Watching. Then came the sound. Tap... tap... tap. Something hitting the tent. Not hard. Just enough to say, "I'm still here." I thought maybe rocks... maybe pinecones. But there weren't any trees above us that could explain it. And whatever it was it had aim. I told the others. Nobody laughed. Nobody slept. We sat around that fire like it was the last safe place on earth, eyes fixed into the dark, waiting for something to step forward... or worse, not step forward. Because sometimes what you don't see is worse than what you do. Finally, in a moment of pure, desperate brilliance or stupidity someone grabbed a sandwich and chucked it out there into the black. We waited. Minutes stretched. The canyon held its breath. And then... nothing. Whatever it was... it was gone. No footsteps. No sound. Just silence again, like the place had swallowed it whole. Now I ain't saying I believe in Bigfoot... ...but I'm also not saying I slept worth a damn that night. And here's the part where I switch gears for ya because after all that spooky nonsense, you gotta laugh a little. Look, I'm just gonna say it .. "I paid good money to fly into a canyon, not to get mugged by a damn woodland gorilla." You got folks hiking ten miles, riding donkeys, sweating like they owe the sun money... and I'm down there getting harassed by what I can only assume is the canyon's unofficial night manager. Five stars. Would absolutely go again. ...but next time, I'm bringing two sandwiches.
