Her enthusiasm really elevated the entire day. Exploring such a beautiful place on Navajo land, away from the crowds, made the experience feel even more special and unforgettable. He shared extensive knowledge and experiences with us as we traveled on Navajo lands into the slot canyon and out to Horseshoe Bend. From his knowledge of desert plant life to assisting his tour with phone photography, Bob's passion for teaching was palpable, making the experience all the more memorable. As for the tour itself, we did a little off-roading to the slot canyon, which was an adventure itself, all while learning about the history and geology that preceded us. With a much fuller camera roll, we drove to an exclusive viewpoint of Horseshoe Bend that was remarkable. If you're looking for a more intimate experience of the slot canyons and Horseshoe Bend, look no further and book it today! Well done, guys.

Amazing experience at Upper Antelope Canyon! Our tour guide, Jecquana or "Quana," was truly…read moreincredible and made the entire experience unforgettable. She shared fascinating insights about the canyon, Navajo history, and even local flora and fauna, weaving stories throughout the trip that made everything feel meaningful and immersive. The tour begins with about a 15-minute drive to the canyon in either a Sprinter van or large SUV. Once there, the walk through the canyon takes about an hour. The hike itself isn't long, but there are currently around seven different tour companies, so everyone pauses frequently for photos (for good reason!). The route is a one-way loop, you enter from one side, exit the other, then walk up a short trail and down some stairs around a small mountain to return to the vehicles. I suggest wearing good shoes. Helpful tips we learned from Quana: There are two main Antelope Canyons: Upper and Lower. This tour company only offers tours of the Upper Canyon, which is shaped like an "A" (narrow at the top, wider at the bottom), making it easier to walk through. The famous light beams shining straight down only occur during monsoon season (July-October). The Lower Canyon, on the other hand, is shaped like a "V" with a much narrower floor. It often requires sand to be added for footing and is more prone to flooding after rain, which can lead to cancellations. Because of this, it's important to book your tour with weather in mind, clearer skies make the colors pop so much more. Quana didn't just share this knowledge, she also helped us adjust our camera settings, gave us the best photography tips, and was kind enough to take multiple photos for us. I truly left this tour feeling inspired, excited about Navajo culture, and grateful for such an incredible guide. If you can, request Quana, she made all the difference. I sincerely hope I get to come back one day. Thank you, Quana!!

He showed knowledge and passion for the area since he had his childhood here. I found the company adventurous antelope organized and efficient. They take the tour individuals on multiple small Air condition buses rather than one huge bus which I liked .The tour is expensive but well worth it if you can afford it. There's no place in the world like antelope canyon. And this company will give you a good experience.

This isn't one of my usual reviews--this is Yelp, and I mostly use this to review food. But hey,…read morethis is a profile I use for reviews, and I can vouch for these tours being really unique and the pictures they posted being real and unaltered--the views really are that good. Alicia and Jalen know this land really well and are skilled at telling you what to look for and why it matters. On the drive out, they pointed out neighbors by name, and we stopped by to meet some local flocks of sheep and goats on the way out. I also learned about Navajo history--despite living in Flagstaff I'd never heard of The Bennett freeze, which kept this area underdeveloped (there's no running water or electrical grid once you're west of the highway). The views and hiking are also really unique. The South Rim is so crowded and developed that it's easy to lose sight of just how crazy it is for a long plateau to just give way to a gash in the earth--here it's the same dirt roads all the way to the rim, with only the looming North Rim of the distance alerting you to any presence. Then it's a vertical cliff you don't see anywhere in the National Park. Alicia and Jalen know the paths for sure footing, since there's no developed trail. And perhaps more importantly, the river is right there. At the South Rim, you might know it's there, but you only get occasional glimpses. Here, you can see what seems like a mile of it at a time, and even hear the rapids thousands of feet underneath you. All in all--if you think you know the Grand Canyon, this is an alternative perspective in every way you can imagine.

The tour is already $45 but you have to go in with the guide. They yell at you to get to one side and even grab you to move you sometimes. There was a guy that wasn't a part of our group that got yelled at for walking to slow. He turned around and told the tour lady he was taking a picture and she said she he stopped and held up the line. He was getting mad saying what's the point of coming in here if not for pictures. There's only one way in and one way out. As you're walking in there's other people exiting and squeezing through. You're limited to taking one photo at each spot and if it doesn't Come out good they tell you too bad you should've had your camera settings right. The tour lady pushed me to the side of the wall at one point as she screamed at everyone to get to the right. There's a photography tour price of $160 which looks like they get better treatment. They block the tourists so the photographers could get their shots. If you ask me there's too many people inside at once. We came here back in 2007 and there wasn't nearly as many people inside so you had some wiggle room. I think the Navajos are being a bit greedy trying to fit all these tours in. They should limit how many people go in per hour so you could at least breathe and enjoy it. The tour lady wasn't the only one yelling. The other tour guys were also yelling at their people. I understand everyone wants a picture but there's no need to be rude. Maybe if they managed their tours better for the crowd control they wouldn't have to be like this. At one point I heard the tour lady say a bunch of us were being annoying. Geez if this place wasn't so nice I doubt people would come. I keep reading the lower AC is better. I will have to check it out. For now I don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless you are prepared to be rushed and crammed into tight spaces. Or perhaps you enjoyed being yelled at and stressed throughout your trip. They even ask for tips after it's over... It's not like they don't make money off of this place already. Shaking my head...
