I recently booked the Antelope Canyon hike and kayak tour and had a mixed, but still overall positive, experience. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, I wasn't able to complete the hiking portion of the tour, which was disappointing since that's a big reason why many people, including myself, travel there. I understand that safety comes first, but the communication around the change could have been handled better. The day before, we were told the tour would start earlier because of the weather, but it wasn't until right before the start time that we were informed the hiking portion was canceled and that kayaking was the only option. That said, I did go ahead with the kayaking, and I'm glad I did. The views were still beautiful, even with choppy water, and as a first-time kayaker, I found the experience exciting and memorable. The tour guide was great--knowledgeable, supportive, and made the experience enjoyable despite the circumstances. My main feedback would be around planning and flexibility. Since many people are paying $120-$130 specifically to experience Antelope Canyon, it would be helpful if alternative options were offered when hiking is canceled--whether that's transportation to a hiking-accessible area or another comparable experience. I'm not sure what the logistics or cost would be, but having a backup plan would make a big difference, especially for those who only have one day to do the tour. One of my family of sixes favorite adventures on our two week, cross country, national park tour. Everyone in our group (from ages 10 to 56) enjoyed being out on the lake and bantering with our guide Mike, a knowledgable native to Page who dables in a bit of everything. Arizona is HOT, and with our private tour, our guide Mike, not only gave us some lake and town history but the ability to customize our 4 hours on the lake. We choose to hike Antelope canyon a bit less and spend a good portion of time at a swimming spot. It was quite refreshing. We have learned water levels have been dropping drastically so be warned there is a good bit of a grade up and down hill to walk if you have bad knees, the motor boats on the lake do make wakes so be warned if you are a complete novice to kayaking, though I feel confident that with the guides and following instruction anyone in relative good health can navigate the waters. Bring lots of water 2L if your going 4 hours, and be sure to be a good visitor and PACK OUT your trash. Btw... this group has the coolest logo of all the kayaking tour guides... so its pretty easy to find their trailer amoungst the others! read more

We had an amazing experience kayaking and hiking with Ian our guide last week On our travels from Phoenix via Sedona to Page, we choose the morning tour with Antelope Kayak on Lake Powell We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt like we were in very safe and experienced hands. After the equipment and safety brief we were off on the adventure The waters and incredible landscape were breathtaking and Ian was very informative and good fun too! We felt that we were in a very special part of the world and we were lucky to be there Ian was very repectful and knowledgeable of the canyon and birds, animals and fauna that live there. He is an asset to Antelope Kayak and we would definitely return to the area to explore more and would highly recommend you use them! Amazing activity made even better by our guide Logan who is CPR & CCA Certified to ensure our safety. The tour description lacks information so here's what to expect. Kayaking Lake Powell for at least 1+ hrs, depending on the size of your group & everyone's speed. Hiking/walking the beautiful Lower Canyon for 1-1.5 hrs. Then kayaking back the way you came. You most likely will be challenged when kayaking if the wind comes up, but it makes for a great adventure. You know how some tours make you pay extra for photos taken by them? Not so here. Logan captured over 100 pix which were sent to each one of us via our cell phones at no extra charge. It was a great tour, with a very supportive, laid back, no pressure guide! read more

We had an amazing time at Antelope Canyon kayaking & exploring the caverns around! Ben was our tour guide and did a phenomenal job taking us around the canyon. Hearing from him that he grew up here in Page and how much of the area and canyon he knew so well made us both amazed to here the stories of how everything was formed here. I would 10/10 highly recommend doing this trip for the day. The views and experience itself is absolutely out of this world and once in a lifetime to experience. By far the best tour my family has been on! Ben was our tour guide and was amazing.. so knowledgable about the area! We were a family of 6 kayaking on the water with 2 younger boys 9 & 12 and two older kids 15 & 17. Ben was so patient and easy going .. and gracious taking family pictures to capture this incredible adventure! Amazing views and learned so much history about this area! If you are looking for an amazing tour of the canyons .. summer kayaking is the way to go and you will absolutely love going with antelope kayaking tours! Highly recommend this kayak tour with a super cool hike midway through Arizona's Narrows. Ben was awesome...super relaxed and we were grateful for that as we went to the wrong marina at first. He was chill about it and we still finished on time. Ben was informative and a good conversationalist...answered our litany of questions about Lake Powell. Would absolutely do this again! Our tour guide Slade was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly personable, making the experience feel more like an adventure with a friend rather than just a tour. Our kayak and hiking tour of Antelope Canyon was absolutely unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was seamless and well organized, but what truly made the experience stand out was our guide, Laura. Laura made sure we were comfortable the entire time, pacing the hike perfectly and pointing out hidden details we would have easily missed. My husband and I went on the kayak tour with Logan and had the best experience. Logan was very knowledgeable of the area and and insured all questions were answered. Logan was very attentive and insured all were hydrated, comfortable, etc. On the hike, he insured all were comfortable with the pace and provided information on the area. Logan took pictures throughout the tour and sent them them later that day, they were amazing. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Page area. read more

This was an incredible experience with my daughter on her spring break. The tour guides Slade and Vince (in training) made it feel like you were just hanging with friends.
