Two Bucket List experiences checked off in one 3 hour period. I can't say enough good things about this tour from this company. Loretta, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, personable, and authentic. Loved when she told of her lineage, one of the most special moments on the tour. The beauty of the canyon was surreal and very spiritual. The view of Horseshoe Bend was picture perfect and well worth the walk for this old Boomer. Loretta sidekick for the day was trainee, Teniya. She is going to make a great tour guide. I enjoyed her company at the back of the line of our group. Get a seat on the first tour of the day to avoid the crowd of other tours that were lined up as we exited to get back on our tour truck. Don't miss this experience with this company.

we had a great time on this tour. our guide (Trey) was very knowledgeable and shared stories of growing up on this land. the canyon itself was amazing. I do wish we'd picked a different time of day so we could see the colors pop more (we went on the 2-5 tour). I think earlier in the day might have been better. but, this didn't detract from the beauty of it. second stop was horseshoe bend. the area isn't available to the public, so it was nice to be able to take in the view without a swarm of other people. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Great tour! Found them on a third party booking site and the meet up spot was so close to our hotel. The facility was very welcoming and restrooms were very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and so were the guides. We had booked the private tour of the canyon & horseshoe bend. From the start, the guide that drove us was very welcoming to my family of four with teens. I forgot his name but he was a young slender gentleman. He shared his personal knowledge and experience of growing up in the area and about the history of the canyon we were in. He was great about taking photos and took great ones of our family and the other couple that was with us. We weren't in the truck with the canopy which I was grateful for because it can get very sandy/dusty. The views were breathtaking and unobstructed. I highly recommend taking the tour for the best of the views and stories.

Great tour. Our guide did an excellent job, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She taught us a few Navajo words and culture. Tour vehicles were clean and comfortable.

This was by far one the greatest tours ever! Erin was our tour guide and she was the best! We arrived right before 8am and we checked right in. A few minutes later, Erin arrived with the truck and we boarded. It was just a total of four on this tour which was nice. The secret canyon location is breath taking. We had so much fun exploring the canyon as we were the only ones there. Erin was very informative and knew all her stuff. It took about an hour or so to walk through and walk back out. Our second stop was Horseshoe Bend and again, we were the only ones there during our stop. We were taken to the side private view so we didn't have to deal with the crowds of people on the main side. Our adventure lasted about 2.5 hours and we had a great time. The sun was starting to burn so I'm glad we opted for the earlier time. Cost: $160 per person Thank you Erin for a memorable time! You rock!

Excellent guide...Trey was terrific, shared lots of local knowledge and personal experience living on the land. This is a funny man, sit back relax and he may surprise you with his musical talent. Oh, did I mention how stunning the Secret Slot Canyon was? Yes, it was!

Beautiful beyond words. Our guide Keni shared great information about the slot canyon and Diné people. She even helped us ensure our photos reflected the beauty of the a lot canyon.

we went on a tour today at 9:00 AM and our tour guide was amazing. She really made this tour the highlight of our whole vacation. She was so helpful with taking our pictures and super informative

    Horseshoe bend (second stop)

I think our tour guide's name was Erin and she was phenomenal, took amazing pictures of everyone, had a really cool demonstration, and was super knowledgeable about the area. 10/10 experience and was just an overall good time.

Hope you're lucky enough to get Nicole as your guide.
    Jim L.

Our professional driver/tour guide Nicole knew so much about the area. It seemed like she could answer anything we asked. I'm sure she's going to get her doctorate in no time! Not only that, but she knew just how to set everyone's phone for the best shots and shared some fun stories/facts with us. I would definitely book with them again since they can take you places that most cannot. We loved the Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Thank you for making Xmas 2025 so memorable! Oh, and Nicole, I'm ready to help manage the boy band once their acne clears up.

Gail, Gail, Gail!!!! Gail was awesome. We took the 2 O'clock tour with Gail and we were only one the the slot canyon, it was awesome. We were able to take pur time and we took lots of pictures, Gail actually knew the correct setting to make it look even better. The 2nd part of tour we went to a secert location over looking horseshoe bend where it was only the 8 of us on the tour, and the overlook had a safety rail system that made it better. Gail said it is her spiritual place and she could stay till we all ask to leave which was great, because we weren't rushed and of coarse she knew how and were to stand for best pictures. Please if your thinking of seeing a slot canyon and horseshoe, please use Deer Spring and by all means get Gail.

first off all, shout out to our guide Tyron! He was great at explaining the history and heritage of the area! the tour went great, the Antelope Canyon was marvelous, and easy hike for all, no issues there for anyone to be concerned about, unless a wheelchair is needed, the unique site at Horseshoe Bend gave a much closer view than general public. Highly recommend Deer Springs Canyon Tours and of course Tyron!

The attraction itself is free, but parking costs $10 per vehicle. After parking, there's a short walk to the overlook. The walk is pretty easy, but it can get hot and windy depending on the weather, so bring water and wear comfortable shoes. Once you reach the viewpoint, the scenery is absolutely unreal. Seeing the Colorado River curve around the canyon in person is so much more impressive than photos online. The overlook is very high, which makes the views even more dramatic. If you're planning to take photos or videos, try walking around a bit because some areas get crowded. We found one of the higher spots for better views and it was totally worth it for pictures. Also, don't forget to stop by the "Page, Arizona" sign nearby before leaving! Overall, such a beautiful and easy stop to add to any Arizona or Southwest road trip itinerary.

The views are unreal in person, and we took so many amazing pictures here. I came with a group of about 15-20 girls and we all had such a fun experience. The walk over was manageable, and once you get to the overlook, it's definitely one of those "wow" moments. It was $10 per car to enter, and unfortunately the America the Beautiful pass doesn't work here since it's separate from the national park system. Still, totally worth the fee for the experience and views. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about were the bathrooms -- definitely different from what I'm used to at California national parks. I was very glad I brought my own flushable wipes just in case. But honestly, that didn't take away from the experience at all. If you're anywhere near Page or the Grand Canyon area, this is absolutely a must-stop destination!

The day before our tour, Julia called to let us know strong headwinds were expected and asked if we wanted to adjust our time. We already had a different morning tour scheduled, and they were incredibly accommodating with our plans. At the launch site, we met our guide Logan, and we were lucky that it was just our family of four on this tour. Husband and I wore aqua shoes and my daughters opted to wear their Birkenstock sandals and go barefoot, which was fine if you're okay with getting red mud on them. Logan was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous since I'm a beginner kayaker, but he let us move at our own pace. It ended up being a great workout while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The canyon was quiet, beautiful, and not crowded at all. We paddled across Lake Powell and into the canyon, and the cool lake water felt amazing in the warm end-of-March weather (mid-80s). They provided life jackets, offered bottled water, and Logan even took photos of us both on the water and at the end of the canyon, which we really appreciated. He also shared helpful paddling tips along the way. The entire tour lasted about 2.5-3 hours and was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend for families and beginners looking for a scenic and well-guided kayaking experience!

Our group completed the kayak and hike which were very much worth it! We needed slight accommodations and Sid and John were reassuring and supportive for both my mom and I. This tour is really for everyone and I can't recommend this tour company and John enough. Because we traveled during off season, we had the entire lake and trail to ourselves. John left much time for us to take cool pictures and was a wealth of knowledge. He made sure to engage with each person in the group and was successful in getting the more shy individuals to step out of their comfort zones. John and Sid (the other employee) made this tour worth it. They provided awesome recommendations for things in the area and also future outdoor related activities in the U.S. Be sure to pack enough water. Remember you are in a kayak and your items will likely get soaked. Luckily they provide one water proof bag per kayak which can hold your phone and camera. If you feel the need to pack more, I recommend that you bring your own waterproof back pack. I opted to go barefoot in the kayak and wear shoes on the hike. You will have to walk through water to get on and off of the boat. Do not let your size and fitness level deter you from this tour. The team is incredibly accommodating and reassuring, making this the perfect tour for all. Highly recommend this tour and either Sid or John!

This in my humble opinion is and has become the top, must visit and see destination in Arizona. Let me try and explain why it surpasses the Grand Canyon. These gorgeous canyons were naturally carved over thousands of years by the combined forces of the eroding water via flash floods and the strong winds interacting with the sandstone. Hence behold these spectacular smooth natural flowing, swirling and narrow rock formations as our stellar guide and the others educated us via words, music and lyrics. She said yes but the benefit of using them was they carried the boards down and up a steep hill. We were there on Saturday April 25th. So we rented two paddle boards and she warned us about the winds. It was like $155. She was nice so we went for it. We get to the site and are waiting around. They haven't even taken the boards off the truck, but we were fine waiting. Layla finally made it up the HILL and had 2 boards taken off the truck and laid on the ground. I asked if any of the MANY men who were there and carrying kayaks down, was going to carry them down. She said no, you carry them. And that hill was STEEP. I figured meh, okay. I was annoyed since we were told they'd be ready for us at the bottom. Layla carried my paddle. Once I saw the hill, I was even more annoyed but I already paid $155 plus $30 entry to the lake. When we got to the bottom, she mentioned when we got back I had to carry it back up. I said I'm not doing that. lol. She held my leash so I could climb on my board. Not an easy task where we were. The paddle boarding was rough but we knew that, the girls at the office warned us. 5 miles later we returned. I STRUGGLED getting off the board and trying to haul it up by myself, my body was shaking and I was visibly exhausted. A young man who worked for this place, WATCHED me struggle. Asked how it was, I said it sucked. He mentioned me carrying the board up that steep hill, while I was shaking from exhaustion and out of breath, and I said "I'm not doing that" and he replied with "why is it heavy?" I did carry my life jacket and paddle...but after that comment I REALLY didn't want to. Layla gave me a water at the top and said to take a breath, I was breathing very heavy. I'd say don't rent paddle boards. You will have to carry them up and down the hill and will get no assistance getting off the board either. But they did carry the kayaks and help those people who also paid like we did, in and out of the kayaks. So maybe rent those and not the paddle boards.
