Beautiful canyon. Really enjoyed seeing horseshoe bend from the overlook. Gail our tour guide was great.

We had a fantastic experience with Deer Spring Canyon Tours in Page, Arizona. Our 2‑Hour Secret Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend Overlook tour was led by Gail, who was an outstanding guide--professional, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Driving five hours from Sedona to Page ourselves turned out to be the best choice, especially compared to the high prices charged by other operators for transportation. The tour itself was well‑run, beautifully paced, and offered breathtaking views. I strongly recommend Deer Spring Canyon Tours and look forward to booking with them again. read more

Deer Springs Tours was excellent. The vehicle was spotless and very comfortable, and our guide Nicole was fantastic -- funny, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend were absolutely stunning, and being on private Navajo land meant zero crowds, which made the experience even better. This tour ended up being one of the highlights of my two‑week Southwest trip. Highly recommend. read more

Two Bucket List experiences checked off in one 3 hour period. I can't say enough good things about this tour from this company. Loretta, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, personable, and authentic. Loved when she told of her lineage, one of the most special moments on the tour. The beauty of the canyon was surreal and very spiritual. The view of Horseshoe Bend was picture perfect and well worth the walk for this old Boomer. Loretta sidekick for the day was trainee, Teniya. She is going to make a great tour guide. I enjoyed her company at the back of the line of our group. Get a seat on the first tour of the day to avoid the crowd of other tours that were lined up as we exited to get back on our tour truck. Don't miss this experience with this company. read more

Everything was perfect! Our guide Malcom was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and engaging. I highly recommend this experience.

we had a great time on this tour. our guide (Trey) was very knowledgeable and shared stories of growing up on this land. the canyon itself was amazing. I do wish we'd picked a different time of day so we could see the colors pop more (we went on the 2-5 tour). I think earlier in the day might have been better. but, this didn't detract from the beauty of it. second stop was horseshoe bend. the area isn't available to the public, so it was nice to be able to take in the view without a swarm of other people. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone! read more

Great tour! Found them on a third party booking site and the meet up spot was so close to our hotel. The facility was very welcoming and restrooms were very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and so were the guides. We had booked the private tour of the canyon & horseshoe bend. From the start, the guide that drove us was very welcoming to my family of four with teens. I forgot his name but he was a young slender gentleman. He shared his personal knowledge and experience of growing up in the area and about the history of the canyon we were in. He was great about taking photos and took great ones of our family and the other couple that was with us. We weren't in the truck with the canopy which I was grateful for because it can get very sandy/dusty. The views were breathtaking and unobstructed. I highly recommend taking the tour for the best of the views and stories. read more

This was by far one the greatest tours ever! Erin was our tour guide and she was the best! We arrived right before 8am and we checked right in. A few minutes later, Erin arrived with the truck and we boarded. It was just a total of four on this tour which was nice. The secret canyon location is breath taking. We had so much fun exploring the canyon as we were the only ones there. Erin was very informative and knew all her stuff. It took about an hour or so to walk through and walk back out. Our second stop was Horseshoe Bend and again, we were the only ones there during our stop. We were taken to the side private view so we didn't have to deal with the crowds of people on the main side. Our adventure lasted about 2.5 hours and we had a great time. The sun was starting to burn so I'm glad we opted for the earlier time. Cost: $160 per person Thank you Erin for a memorable time! You rock! read more

This is such a beautiful area. We had light rain that morning but it didn't detract from the tour. The slot canyon is an easy walk, no ladders in this one and it is so cool going thru it. Our guide, Nicole, was very good, she has lots of good information about what we were seeing and Navajo customs and history in the area. read more

Loved Deep Spring Canyon Tour. Our Dine guide Kenni was outstanding. She led a tour that was at our pace no rushing. she was so chill and friendly. I really appreciated how she took the time to explain Dine cultural traditions and how they related to the canyon and land. I am looking forward to coming back for another tour to see even more of the canyons and river bend. you are exposed to the heat but the views were spectacular. once in the canyon you are shielded and the space is magical. i am putting this on everyone must see list when they ask me what to do in AZ. I strongly recommend Deep Spring Canyon Tour operators. read more

The canyon deserves 5 stars, but the experience with Gail was more than a disappointment. Contrary to reviews recommending her which look like AI, our tour of 12 (we did not know one another) found her uninformative, rude, and rushed. After a reckless 30 minute ride, half through soft sand, we arrived at the secret canyon. Other than pointing out a few formations you could see in the walls and taking two obligatory photos, she spent most her time admonishing people for taking photos and telling us to wait to do that on the way back out. Problem was the better light for photos was heading into the canyon, not out! The only mention of her culture was when she said not to photograph her because it was against her culture. There are many other tour companies available, don't waste your money. read more

Excellent guide...Trey was terrific, shared lots of local knowledge and personal experience living on the land. This is a funny man, sit back relax and he may surprise you with his musical talent. Oh, did I mention how stunning the Secret Slot Canyon was? Yes, it was! read more

Gail, Gail, Gail!!!! Gail was awesome. We took the 2 O'clock tour with Gail and we were only one the the slot canyon, it was awesome. We were able to take pur time and we took lots of pictures, Gail actually knew the correct setting to make it look even better. The 2nd part of tour we went to a secert location over looking horseshoe bend where it was only the 8 of us on the tour, and the overlook had a safety rail system that made it better. Gail said it is her spiritual place and she could stay till we all ask to leave which was great, because we weren't rushed and of coarse she knew how and were to stand for best pictures. Please if your thinking of seeing a slot canyon and horseshoe, please use Deer Spring and by all means get Gail. read more

Our professional driver/tour guide Nicole knew so much about the area. It seemed like she could answer anything we asked. I'm sure she's going to get her doctorate in no time! Not only that, but she knew just how to set everyone's phone for the best shots and shared some fun stories/facts with us. I would definitely book with them again since they can take you places that most cannot. We loved the Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Thank you for making Xmas 2025 so memorable! I am so happy I picked this company for our tour. Gail was our guide and she was wonderful. Instead of having to figure out the best spot for selfies, she took our phones and took a picture FOR us and they were great shots. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone. read more

We paid $97 per person in cash for an Antelope Canyon tour, even though the posted price was $82. After payment, our group was removed from the tour and denied entry because one person attempted to take a photo. We were not warned beforehand, and the tour was not completed. Despite this, no refund was provided. Visitors should clearly ask about photo rules, pricing, and refund policies before paying, especially when cash is required. read more

The people here are amazing! Stay away from 3rd party travel agencies like Headout and go directly to Deerspringcanyontours.com or call these folks! We took this tour at the end of March with our guide Gail, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip. Gail was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making the entire experience both educational and fun. The off-road ride to the "secret canyon" was thrilling and added an extra layer of adventure. What really stood out was how accessible the slot canyon was -- we didn't have to walk far to reach it, which is a huge plus for anyone with mobility challenges. Our group of 15 was the only one there, and the breathtaking views felt exclusively ours. We captured fabulous photos, and Gail went above and beyond by taking personal pictures for every group member. There was no rush whatsoever; we had plenty of time to explore, soak in the scenery, and savor the moment. Next, we headed to Horseshoe Bend via the tour company's private access area -- another huge perk! No crowds at all, just stunning views and peace. Again, Gail helped everyone get the perfect photo. read more

Highly recommend the Secret Slot Canyon and Horseshoe Bend tour! Kenny was the best tour guide! There is no mistaking she loves her people, loves her job, and loves sharing her knowledge. She helped everyone on the tour set up our cameras and gave us fantastic tips for getting the best photos of the slot canyon. There was no rush on the tour, like some other companies do. The hike to/from/within the canyon was a simple walk and the tour vehicle parked within sight of the overlook viewpoint for Horseshoe Bend. Deer Spring Canyon Tours was 5 Star. Would give 10 stars if I could. The booking was easy, location for the meeting spot easy to find, the stag was very nice. Meeting facility was clean, with bathrooms and water if needed to purchase. Nicole, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and informative throughout the entire tour. She took the time to explain the history and geology of Antelope Canyon and made sure everyone had a great experience. What really stood out was how she helped everyone with their phone and camera settings so we could capture the best photos possible. That extra effort made a huge difference and showed how much she cares about her guests having a memorable experience.
