we had a great time on this tour. our guide (Trey) was very knowledgeable and shared stories of growing up on this land. the canyon itself was amazing. I do wish we'd picked a different time of day so we could see the colors pop more (we went on the 2-5 tour). I think earlier in the day might have been better. but, this didn't detract from the beauty of it. second stop was horseshoe bend. the area isn't available to the public, so it was nice to be able to take in the view without a swarm of other people. We paid $97 per person in cash for an Antelope Canyon tour, even though the posted price was $82. After payment, our group was removed from the tour and denied entry because one person attempted to take a photo. We were not warned beforehand, and the tour was not completed. Despite this, no refund was provided. Visitors should clearly ask about photo rules, pricing, and refund policies before paying, especially when cash is required. read more

Great tour! Found them on a third party booking site and the meet up spot was so close to our hotel. The facility was very welcoming and restrooms were very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and so were the guides. We had booked the private tour of the canyon & horseshoe bend. From the start, the guide that drove us was very welcoming to my family of four with teens. I forgot his name but he was a young slender gentleman. He shared his personal knowledge and experience of growing up in the area and about the history of the canyon we were in. He was great about taking photos and took great ones of our family and the other couple that was with us. We weren't in the truck with the canopy which I was grateful for because it can get very sandy/dusty. The views were breathtaking and unobstructed. I highly recommend taking the tour for the best of the views and stories. read more

This was by far one the greatest tours ever! Erin was our tour guide and she was the best! We arrived right before 8am and we checked right in. A few minutes later, Erin arrived with the truck and we boarded. It was just a total of four on this tour which was nice. The secret canyon location is breath taking. We had so much fun exploring the canyon as we were the only ones there. Erin was very informative and knew all her stuff. It took about an hour or so to walk through and walk back out. Our second stop was Horseshoe Bend and again, we were the only ones there during our stop. We were taken to the side private view so we didn't have to deal with the crowds of people on the main side. Our adventure lasted about 2.5 hours and we had a great time. The sun was starting to burn so I'm glad we opted for the earlier time. Cost: $160 per person Thank you Erin for a memorable time! We took this tour at the end of March with our guide Gail, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip. Gail was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making the entire experience both educational and fun. The off-road ride to the "secret canyon" was thrilling and added an extra layer of adventure. What really stood out was how accessible the slot canyon was -- we didn't have to walk far to reach it, which is a huge plus for anyone with mobility challenges. Our group of 15 was the only one there, and the breathtaking views felt exclusively ours. We captured fabulous photos, and Gail went above and beyond by taking personal pictures for every group member. There was no rush whatsoever; we had plenty of time to explore, soak in the scenery, and savor the moment. Gail, Gail, Gail!!!! Gail was awesome. We took the 2 O'clock tour with Gail and we were only one the the slot canyon, it was awesome. We were able to take pur time and we took lots of pictures, Gail actually knew the correct setting to make it look even better. The 2nd part of tour we went to a secert location over looking horseshoe bend where it was only the 8 of us on the tour, and the overlook had a safety rail system that made it better. Gail said it is her spiritual place and she could stay till we all ask to leave which was great, because we weren't rushed and of coarse she knew how and were to stand for best pictures. Please if your thinking of seeing a slot canyon and horseshoe, please use Deer Spring and by all means get Gail. read more

Deer Spring Canyon Tours was 5 Star. Would give 10 stars if I could. The booking was easy, location for the meeting spot easy to find, the stag was very nice. Meeting facility was clean, with bathrooms and water if needed to purchase. Nicole, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and informative throughout the entire tour. She took the time to explain the history and geology of Antelope Canyon and made sure everyone had a great experience. I meant to post this last year but life happens and I forgot. April of last year my son and I did a spring break trip, part of which was spent in Page AZ. Most of the tours of "Antelope canyon" were ridiculously overpriced and most were full weeks in advance. By sheer fate we found this tour. It wasn't nearly as expensive as the rest and offered both horseshoe bend and a slot canyon tour. They do not take you to "Antelope canyon" but rather a private slot canyon that is absolutely beautiful. Our tour guide was Gail and it was her first tour ever (once again, this was last year when this business first started). She was absolutely the best. Very informative and kind. We all loaded into a company vehicle and headed out to the slot canyon. I think our tour was around 4pm and it was perfect. She let us take as much time as we wanted snapping pictures and taking in the sights. It wasn't overpacked at all! Just a few groups in and out. Once we were done in the slot canyon, we all got a private entrance to horseshoe bend. (We could see the chaos and hustle of the public entrance just to the right.... Definitely preferred our vantage point). If you find yourself in Page AZ and want a more private route... I highly recommend this business! read more

The staff and especially Gayle was wonderful. However, the information is misleading because when we booked the tour, it stated "secret upper antelope" . However, at the end of our tour, the guide/Gayle, made a statement "you know we didn't go to antelope canyon". We asked questions and she said it was a similar canyon with less people . So our understanding that we did not see the Antelope Canyon. This left us in a not so happy and not satisfied person, myself and my friend. The same was with Horseshoe Bend. We went to an area that you cannot take the pictures that you see on the website. Do not book the "secret" tours. Misleading information resulting in not satisfied group of us. read more

What an experience! The ride to the secret canyon in an open touring jeep over rutted and rocky dirt roads was like at an amusement park, and our guide Malcolm had us all laughing and excited by the time we got to the canyon. After a short explanation of the geology of the place, Malcolm took pictures with our cameras for each couple or group, before sending us off through the winding pathway, effectively spacing us out so that we felt like we were the only ones in the canyon. It was beyond words to describe, but the pictures give the idea. We returned to base for a quick bathroom stop before heading out to see Horseshoe Bend. In this case, pictures can't give the full feeling of the astonishing sweep and grandure of the view from this private overlook. Highly recommend this tour over the larger crowded ones to Upper and Lower Antelope. The small group size, and being the only group there made the experience incredible. A well-run and very friendly tour. read more
