Our tour Mariah was great. We went right at 11:15, luckily there were little clouds in the sky. The tour was well-organized. The views were unbelievable. Just unreal. Since all the tours are guided, the tour guides would have usher us through on a very tight schedule (don't be late!). Take a lot of photos. My hubby joked that this landmark finally had more photos than the Golden Gate Bridge - just slightly so :)

    Looking up in the canyon.

My husband and I did the 1:00 pm Upper Antelope Canyon tour in April 2025. Everything from booking to touring went smoothly. You wait in a location with other Navajo companies, but it's not too confusing. Mariah was a wonderful guide, attentive and witty. I'm so glad we were able to tour the canyon!

    The colors are amazing

Buy your tour of the Upper Antelope Canyon the day before at least! They sell out fast. We took a tour with them because they had the time closer to noon open (1:20 pm) and their price was right. Purchased online and had no issues with the purchase, got the confirmation email and sent the waivers ... then I read about the time difference so this tour company actually has a clock with their time on their site: there is a time difference to the time on my phone, so make sure to double check or you could miss your tour. Once we arrived to the Upper Canyon location it was all set up very organized. They stagger the tours so every group will get a personalized experience. Our group had 8 participants so we boarded the back of the truck and drove down to the canyon (about 15 mins) to begin our experience. Wow this was amazing.. our tour guide told us stories and was also able to show us all the secrets designs that the light and the walls of the canyon form. There are so many tourists each day going to visit Antelope canyon... and our guide made sure that we had a wonderful experience and guided our group in such a way that we felt "alone" in the different areas of the canyon. He also took the best pictures !! We were so impressed and lucky. This company had the whole tour well organized and the experience was amazing. Totally reccommended! P.S. wear a cat, cap etc: there can be some fine dusting of sand falling from the top of the canyon, so this was good advice I just want to pass on to you. Enjoy!

We had an awesome time on our tour of Upper Antelope Canyon with Tse Bighanilini Tours! Michael was our tour guide. He was incredible! So knowledgeable. When you take a tour, you go to a parking lot with a small office building to check in. They have port-a-potties on site, as there are NOT bathrooms in the canyon. There is plenty of parking, and it's located right off of highway 98. They call groups by name, and you squeeze onto a shuttle to the canyon - takes about 10-15 minutes to get there. They recommend watching the video to see what to expect in terms of getting into/out of the canyon - do it!! So many people were confused because they didn't watch the video. The canyon is gorgeous, and Upper Antelope Canyon is the most famous one. Our tour guide helped all of us get stellar pictures of different formations and shadows. They do accept gratuities, so tip them!!

We were so lucky to have been grouped with Wyatt as our amazing guide! There were 4 families in our group, and he took his time to take amazing pictures of everyone inside the canon. He even showed us how to change the settings on our phones so our pictures would come out better. We didn't feel rushed even though there were many other groups in the canon. What a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience!

Upper Antelope Canyon May 12, 2025

We were privileged to participate in the Upper Antelope Canyon Tour on May 12, 2025. It was an awesome, once-in-a-lifetime event. Unforgettable, and well worth the 900 miles we travelled to be there. Our guide was successful in seeing to it that everyone on the tour had a great experience with ample opportunities for photography. We'd like to give a shout out to Lala on the desk staff for saving our day. On attempting to sign in, we found that the third party whom we had pre-paid nine months earlier had apparently failed to advance the payment to the Local Provider, hence we had no reservation. She assisted us in making the appropriate phone calls and and eventually found room for us on an earlier tour (at a lower price!). Can't find words to express how grateful we were for her kindness and efficiency in dealing with a problem for which Tse Bighanilini was not technically responsible. Super kudos !

We took a tour of upper antelope canyon. The tour itself was beautiful and Ver (Jane) was one of the best tour guides we could ask for. She was so knowledgeable about everything and pointed out shapes in the canyon and what to look for. She also helped me with my phone settings to capture some amazing photos! The reason I didn't put 5 stars is because the tour itself felt very rushed. We were on such a time crunch so we couldn't be in one spot for too long because we had to move for the next group behind us. My group brought a professional camera that was a little more manual to operate so we missed some opportunities with that camera because we were moving too fast. If you are going and just taking pictures on your phone it's fine, but if you are going with a professional camera/photographer you may be a little disappointed to how rushed it is.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our guide Tai (not sure on spelling) could not be better - he gave us great tips on photographs, had a great energy to him, and gave us time to really enjoy the canyon. We are over the moon with our experience. 5 stars!!!!

Picture taken by RJ Zoomba in the Upper Antelope!

Absolutely loved the tour of Upper Antelope! RJ Zoomba was our guide and if you're able to request him or are lucky enough to get him as your guide, count your blessings! He was very informative and also took the most amazing pictures of us and showed us other key photo areas! Highly recommend this tour and the Tse Bighanilini guides!

An outstanding experience. My husband and I took the Upper Antelope Canyon tour on May 20, 2024. I watched a few videos so I was prepared for the tour. Our truck had 10 passengers. It's open air so you'll feel some wind and sand. Bring sunglasses and a hat. A short bumpy ride and we were brought to the canyon's entrance. Our guide was Lamoyne and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He showed us things to do with our phones so we could take perfect shots. He also took numerous photos for everyone in the group. He pointed out unique features in the canyon so we could understand the canyons hidden carvings. Lamoyne offered to take the pictures many times so they came out perfectly. I am certain we have many shots we can pick from to land on our living room wall. Thank you Lamoyne for making our trip extra special!

awful customer service support- I wish i would have read other reviews before booking this tour. i would HIGHLY recommend doing The Lower Antelope tour over this - there isn't much difference in the views BUT definitely in the experience we had an unforeseen emergency and contacted Thai tour company FIRST thing and they REFUSED to issue a refund. it took several days for them to respond but once I posted a review they got In touch with me IMMEDIATELY They offered a credit - when I explained we live in the Midwest they basically said " cha-Ching!" The tour is already $45 but you have to go in with the guide. They yell at you to get to one side and even grab you to move you sometimes. There was a guy that wasn't a part of our group that got yelled at for walking to slow. He turned around and told the tour lady he was taking a picture and she said she he stopped and held up the line. He was getting mad saying what's the point of coming in here if not for pictures. There's only one way in and one way out. As you're walking in there's other people exiting and squeezing through. You're limited to taking one photo at each spot and if it doesn't Come out good they tell you too bad you should've had your camera settings right. The tour lady pushed me to the side of the wall at one point as she screamed at everyone to get to the right. There's a photography tour price of $160 which looks like they get better treatment. They block the tourists so the photographers could get their shots. If you ask me there's too many people inside at once. We came here back in 2007 and there wasn't nearly as many people inside so you had some wiggle room. I think the Navajos are being a bit greedy trying to fit all these tours in. They should limit how many people go in per hour so you could at least breathe and enjoy it. The tour lady wasn't the only one yelling. The other tour guys were also yelling at their people. I understand everyone wants a picture but there's no need to be rude. Maybe if they managed their tours better for the crowd control they wouldn't have to be like this. At one point I heard the tour lady say a bunch of us were being annoying. Geez if this place wasn't so nice I doubt people would come. I keep reading the lower AC is better. I will have to check it out. For now I don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless you are prepared to be rushed and crammed into tight spaces. Or perhaps you enjoyed being yelled at and stressed throughout your trip. They even ask for tips after it's over... It's not like they don't make money off of this place already. Shaking my head...

I also made contact with other companies doing the similar tours, in the end I decided to go with Grand Staircase Discovery Tours. The main tour which I wanted was White Pocket. I advised the potential date in March and Chris Chalmers (the owner) penciled this. I also inquired about South Coyote Buttes and Chris gave me the steps on applying for a permit. I did get the permit for South Coyote Buttes and the trip was built around it. The cost for the different tours were discussed and confirmed. As we got closer to our trip, Chris emailed and called several times to finetune our trip. We are now back in Bakersfield. We ended up taking 3 trips with them. Rob Wulff was our guide. Rob was the ultimate guide, soft spoken and knowledgeable about the area including the geology. Rob was extremely helpful specially on our first trip which was an overnight stay at White Pocket. The weather was not cooperative with the wind blowing 40-45 mph. Rob made it as comfortable as he can given the conditions. He showed us the good spots photograph and also made sure as a group (5) we were constantly watched over for our safety. During our hikes, Rob made sure the pace was right for everyone. The cost of their tours were comparable if not less than the other tour companies. Their service was great. Their attention to the details was impeccable. We will be back for more tours with Chris. Highly recommended.

The day before our tour, Julia called to let us know strong headwinds were expected and asked if we wanted to adjust our time. At the launch site, we met our guide Logan, and we were lucky that it was just our family of four on this tour. Husband and I wore aqua shoes and my daughters opted to wear their Birkenstock sandals and go barefoot, which was fine if you're okay with getting red mud on them. Logan was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous since I'm a beginner kayaker, but he let us move at our own pace. It ended up being a great workout while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The canyon was quiet, beautiful, and not crowded at all. We paddled across Lake Powell and into the canyon, and the cool lake water felt amazing in the warm end-of-March weather (mid-80s).
