First time having a tour from this company! Jamie the tour guide was cool ! Very informative and super understanding! She explained very well about the history and all the beautiful aspects of the canyon. She even taught us a camera trick to make our pictures look super wow ! Thank you !

This place is definitely worth the hype! And I say that as someone who drove for over 3 hours from Cottonwood to Page. The tour was led by Sunny, a real Navajo man. He took our group to the area (which is on actual Navajo territory) via a van, and it was a slightly bumpy but fun, scenic ride. Throughout the tour, Sunny gave us lots of information about the history of the Navajo people and the canyon. He also helped all of us snag some superb photos and showed us some cool features inside. I don't want to reveal too much, but I'm sure you will enjoy the tour. The price might seem a bit steep, but I think it's worth it. You are technically on their land, and they're being gracious enough to allow us into areas that only they have access to. Alongside the actual drive and the information provided on tour, your support goes directly to the people who maintain the canyon. It could be a once in a lifetime experience for you. I say go for it!

We did Antelope Upper Canyon tour . Make sure make reservations in advanced bc it fills fast. Arrived 30 mins early, signed waiver, brought only clear bags and water. Got to meet Arden very helpful. Drove by Connie our tour guide which by the way did an excellent job. 20 mins drive to the place. 20 mins pavement and 10 mins rough road . The place was amazing. The rock formations, the sunlight going through the canyon. . The photos we took and Connie helped us get those. It is a must when in Page

Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Tickets aren't cheap to visit Antelope Canyon -- only accessible via a guided tour from the Navajo tribe -- but the price is so worth it! I think I paid $108. This was a great tour company and very organized with herding our group and keeping us on schedule. Our guide was great, I forget her name now, but she gave us pro tips on taking photos (vibrant mode) and even took our photos throughout the upper canyon tour, which was quite kind of her. It's a bumpy ride there, so keep that in mind and try to sit closer to the front of the bus. It's cool inside the canyon, and then it ends with a mostly uphill walk that is not tough in the slightest, as the incline is manageable. We attended the noon session and were able to see some light beams -- my favorite part.

Antelope canyon itself was extremely beautiful and definitely a memorable experience. However, I do think the tour company could have done things better to make a better experience. It was a little unorganized in the beginning when we were at the office, they put too many people in our group causing us to be the last group while sorring it out. They also need to do a better job at managing the crowd. One guy in the group before us kept hanging back and prevented our group from getting good pictures. It is also very rushed in the canyon. Our tour guide cheyenne was awesome, she gave good tips on taking photos and took photos for everyone in our group

We visited the Upper Canyon with Lamar Oct 28 10:45am. We arrived over an hour earlier since we didn't realized the Canyon was a different timezone than Sedona. Lamar was personable and shared interesting facts throughout the visit. Prior to entering the canyon, he educated everyone on how to set their iPhone or Android phone for optimal pictures. He also took pictures for everyone in the group who wanted family pix. He is a very talented photographer, utilizing a flashlight to capture amazing family memories throughout the canyon. As we entered the darkroom of the canyon, he walked everyone through the steps to change the phone setting so we could continue capturing vibrant pictures in the second half of the canyon. He had a surprise flute playing presentation at the end.

Let me say first, the canyons are absolutely beautiful and if you have the chance to see them go! I will say I was highly disappointed in our "tour". Our guide was very rude and had no interest in giving us an experience. Almost like we were an inconvenience to him when we paid to be there. We were highly disappointed in his service, as I have done a tour through these canyons before and the guides were amazing and gave us so much info.

What an incredible experience! It's truly a bucket-list destination you have to see. Buying tickets was a breeze, and everything you need to know is easily found on their website. Our tour guide was amazing--super personable and packed with fascinating knowledge about the land. He was also a huge help when it came to snapping photos. Every moment was totally worth the price, and I'd love to go back! Not because I missed anything (I definitely saw it all), but because the sight is so stunning, I could keep coming back and never get tired of it!

The tour was amazing and something we've been waiting decades to do. Morgan was THE BEST!! He showed us the right settings on our camera and the right angles!! Love this experience and he made it memorable with all of our great pictures! The front desk guy was great too....made sure we were taken care of and was nice too! Great team and loved this tour!

We had the best time with our guide Morgan! The pictures he took are absolutely amazing! We never felt rushed and loved all of the history he gave us on the tour. Highly recommend this tour and definitely request Morgan! Amazing day!

Beautiful and stunning views! Even though it was raining half the day still spectacular pictures. We enjoyed ourselves very much. We loved our tour guide, her name is Jan, highly recommend her.

Amazing experience. So glad we made an advanced reservation. We went on the 1:45 tour. We were a group of 4 people along with 8 others. The tour guide Don J was great, welcoming, nice, knowledgeable & patient with the diverse group. He helped us enjoy the tour by providing history as well as great photo opportunities and poses. He was such a delight and definitely made the experience special! He engaged with everyone on the tour and kept us safe. I highly recommend this tour, wear comfy clothes and shoes. Be ready to experience the beauty of nature!

I'm going in mid May. For lighting, is the 9:30 or 11:15/11:40 times better?

    Do they accept credit cards?

Yes I made reservation by online. It was easy and paid by credit card.

    Are any handicap accessible?

Hello. We took the lower canyon tour. No handicap tours available. Perhaps try the upper canyon tours. Tour took approximate 1.5 to 2hrs. A lot of walking in steep grounds with narrow stairs. Hopefully this helps.

I got in touch with the individual who posted the photos and was given the contact info for the above company. I inquired about a potential trip for March 2016 and was given different options. I also made contact with other companies doing the similar tours, in the end I decided to go with Grand Staircase Discovery Tours. The main tour which I wanted was White Pocket. I advised the potential date in March and Chris Chalmers (the owner) penciled this. I also inquired about South Coyote Buttes and Chris gave me the steps on applying for a permit. I did get the permit for South Coyote Buttes and the trip was built around it. The cost for the different tours were discussed and confirmed. As we got closer to our trip, Chris emailed and called several times to finetune our trip. We are now back in Bakersfield. We ended up taking 3 trips with them. Rob Wulff was our guide. Rob was the ultimate guide, soft spoken and knowledgeable about the area including the geology. Rob was extremely helpful specially on our first trip which was an overnight stay at White Pocket. The weather was not cooperative with the wind blowing 40-45 mph. Rob made it as comfortable as he can given the conditions. He showed us the good spots photograph and also made sure as a group (5) we were constantly watched over for our safety. During our hikes, Rob made sure the pace was right for everyone. The cost of their tours were comparable if not less than the other tour companies. Their service was great. Their attention to the details was impeccable. We will be back for more tours with Chris. Highly recommended.

The attraction itself is free, but parking costs $10 per vehicle. After parking, there's a short walk to the overlook. The walk is pretty easy, but it can get hot and windy depending on the weather, so bring water and wear comfortable shoes. Once you reach the viewpoint, the scenery is absolutely unreal. Seeing the Colorado River curve around the canyon in person is so much more impressive than photos online. The overlook is very high, which makes the views even more dramatic. If you're planning to take photos or videos, try walking around a bit because some areas get crowded. We found one of the higher spots for better views and it was totally worth it for pictures. It was $10 per car to enter, and unfortunately the America the Beautiful pass doesn't work here since it's separate from the national park system. Still, totally worth the fee for the experience and views. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about were the bathrooms -- definitely different from what I'm used to at California national parks. The day before our tour, Julia called to let us know strong headwinds were expected and asked if we wanted to adjust our time. We already had a different morning tour scheduled, and they were incredibly accommodating with our plans. At the launch site, we met our guide Logan, and we were lucky that it was just our family of four on this tour. Husband and I wore aqua shoes and my daughters opted to wear their Birkenstock sandals and go barefoot, which was fine if you're okay with getting red mud on them. Logan was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous since I'm a beginner kayaker, but he let us move at our own pace. It ended up being a great workout while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The canyon was quiet, beautiful, and not crowded at all. We paddled across Lake Powell and into the canyon, and the cool lake water felt amazing in the warm end-of-March weather (mid-80s). They provided life jackets, offered bottled water, and Logan even took photos of us both on the water and at the end of the canyon, which we really appreciated. He also shared helpful paddling tips along the way. The entire tour lasted about 2.5-3 hours and was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend for families and beginners looking for a scenic and well-guided kayaking experience!

John and Sid (the other employee) made this tour worth it. They provided awesome recommendations for things in the area and also future outdoor related activities in the U.S. Be sure to pack enough water. Remember you are in a kayak and your items will likely get soaked. Luckily they provide one water proof bag per kayak which can hold your phone and camera.
