Taadidiin Tours is the one and only company that takes folks on tours of Antelope Canyon X -- the smallest and least visited of the three Antelope Canyon areas. Their tour price is about $60 +- an $8 new fee that I believe is set to be implemented soon. The other canyons are $80 and up and more crowded per online reviews, so I went with this one. I had a great time on the tour! My tour guide was super knowledgeable about the land and the canyon, and was also great at getting good photos of people (he knew where all the best spots were and even told folks how to pose at some spots to get the best pics). The tour pickup area is easy to find, they have a big sign by the freeway and you can see through the fence to the large parking area (all red sand/dirt with wooden markers). The place was pretty crowded when I came but it makes sense -- I think most tours sell out for all the canyons any given day/time. Do be sure to come at your time though, and note -- there is a time zone between this area and Page, AZ but the tour company goes off the same time as Page, AZ despite this!!! It says so on their website, and I called the morning of my tour to confirm because I wanted to make sure I didn't accidentally miss the tour by an hour. It's nice if you're staying in Page, AZ because you know the time at the tour is the same as the time where you are (although as you drive closer, note that you will spring forward an hour, and then fall back again if you drive back toward Page after the tour). After you park you check in at the counter, and they tell you where to wait until the vans pick you up. From there, you're assigned to a van and this is your tour group. You ride about 10-15 mins by van to the entrance of the canyon and then your guides take you from there. The whole tour itself takes about 40-50 minutes. Do note that because there are others in your group you have to take turns at some photo spots so just be prepared! And remember that according to Navajo nation laws, you can't take bags into the canyon so make sure you have a water bottle to hold, your phone, and any other small items you might need (e.g. tissues) in your pocket. read more

I planned a trip to Arizona just to see Antelope Canyon. It wasn't until a week before my trip that I realized that Antelope Canyon is on Navajo land and you need a guided tour to be able to visit. I did some research and since I was going in February, it didn't matter if I went to Upper Canyon because I wouldn't be able to see the light tunnels. When I was trying to decide which one to go to, and which tour company, I came across a travel blogger who had done all three parts. He said that he recommended Canyon X. I saw that Taadidiin Tour was the only tour operator for Canyon X. The reviews stated that it was less crowded and less rushed, resulting in an opportunity to get better pictures. I was sold. I booked for a Wednesday at 1 PM since a lot of the recommendations said 10 AM to 1 PM was a good time. However, the morning of there was a snowstorm at the Grand Canyon and we could not exit the east entrance to Cameron and had to detour to the south entrance through Flaggstaff and with the snowstorm we would have made it right around the start of the tour and not 20 to 30 minutes early. I called when they opened and spoke to Naomi who was very friendly and accommodating and rebooked my family to 3 PM. A couple hours later got a call from Kendrick saying that they're making the difficult decision to cancel all the tours for the remainder of the day due to snow and the road closures. We discussed options and he was able to rebook me for 9 AM the next day. He was very helpful and friendly as well. We arrived the next morning and the check-in process was very smooth. We were told to come back about 10 minutes before the tour and could use the porta potties. The ride to the canyon was about 10 min. It was bumpy because the road is terrain and not paved. We were in like a 14 passenger van. Our tour guide was with Tommy and he was so friendly and funny. He showed us where we should take pictures and helped us take pictures as well using the panorama features. Even though I didn't go in the afternoon as originally planned the 9 AM timeslot was great. The tour was an hour and a half. There are steps to walk down and which is the easy part, but you do have to take the steps back up. I booked the X canyon tour via third party, next time i will book directly with the tour company. The operation is transparent and efficient. The tour leaves on time, stages 10 minutes before they depart and the website recommends arriving early ( 20 minutes, get checked in, confirm the waiver is signed, use the bathroom ( there are not restrooms on the hike ) and make sure bags are left in the car ). Each van has around 8 - 12 people and that will be your tour group. The drivers are friendly. After 10 minutes, the van drops off on the top of the canyon. We only brought our phones. They don't allow equipment, bags, purses, food or any drink ( besides water ). Our guide was Van and he was beyond perfect. He was informative, helpful and fun. He walked us down explaining the. History, geology and cultural background. He also took great pictures at the best spots. Next time we're in the area we will book the longer hike in the other canyon. read more

We had the best guide! Jameson is Navajo and had stories handed down from his ancestors about the caverns. He also took wonderful photos of us in perfect spots. A van takes you down to a lower area where you walk down to enter the canyon. The walk down to the slot canyons is a lot easier than the walk back up but there are shaded benches along the way. Leave everything except water and a camera or phone in the car. (If you have Jameson, you won't need a selfie stick!) Inside, the walk is easy with no climbing, no ladders and no crawling. It's magical and a must do for anyone that can handle the walk back up the wide, low steps...but there are a lot of them as it is a 250 foot elevation to return after the tour. read more

Had a fantastic visit to Cardiac Canyon this week. Booked it for me and a buddy. The Taadidiin Tours operation was very well organized and efficient. They did a great job keeping in touch and letting us know what we needed when we got there. Our host Joshua was awesome. Great guy, very careful, and did a great job. Inside the canyon, it's just as beautiful as the best pictures you'll see of slot canyons. The entire three hours we were out, only saw three other people, and they were a photography party. There was none of the waiting for people to clear out in front of you to get an empty picture. I would do it again in a second. And they've developed a new way into Cardiac, so we didn't drop down not have to traverse the sand dune. By the BTW, Cardiac Canyon is in the same general area as Antelope Canyon and the same company does their own tour of Antelope Canyon. I did not do that tour so I can't comment on it, but the company and the people are awesome. read more

I feel like I've been seeing photos of Antelope Canyon for years, but never thought I'd have an opportunity to see it in person. But when we discovered that this place is only a few hours away from the Grand Canyon, where we visited first, we added it to our travel itinerary. The more "famous" areas are the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons, but we had heard from friends and other online reviews that the experience can be adversely affected by the sheer numbers of visitors every day. But then we learned of lesser-known Antelope Canyon X. With only a single tour operator and fewer tour times, we had read that it makes for a more pleasant visit. For reference, there are six tour companies operating in Upper Antelope and two in Lower Antelope. Though we wouldn't be seeing the more iconic parts of the canyon, we figured that we would still have a good experience. Pricing for the X tour was considerably less expensive than Upper and Lower Antelope. Online booking was easy, and we received clear instructions from Taadidiin about their policies. We showed up much earlier than planned for our scheduled tour, but the person checking us in kindly put us with an earlier group. After a short van ride, we arrived at the top of the canyon. The tour starts with a fairly steep descent, so be aware that it does take a bit of effort to come back out. At the bottom, the group splits off into multiple smaller groups of about 12 guests, with a Navajo tour guide assigned to each. The canyon is beautiful - I never realized just how narrow a slot canyon can be. Our guide was knowledgeable and relaxed and never made us feel rushed - in contrast, another tour guide seemed to be rather impatient with his group. We were allowed ample time to take pictures, and she pointed out the best places to get some nice shots, while also offering to take photos of us. So, you won't see the Insta-famous views here, but you'll get an excellent tour at a more relaxed pace (as long as you don't end up with the one pushy guide). read more

We had a tour of Canyon X with Taadidiin Tours in early April of 2026. Their employees are extremely warm, dynamic and professional, from the text message they sent out a week or two in advance giving clear guidance and explaining requirements, to the post-tour ride back where they discussed Navajo history and culture in a meaningful and respecful way. The highlight, however, was the actual tour of the unbelievably gorgeous and spiritual canyon provided by our tour guide Jemeson (sp?). The tour is at just the right pace and contains a perfect balance of geological and cultural/historical background along with the perfect number of moments to take photos and soak in the unimaginble beauty. Jameson was knowledgable, funny and warm. His genuineness, kind smile and straightforward manner of speaking always made us feel like he was talking to us person to person rather than following some detailed script. He also handled the many children (inlcuding my own) that were part of the tour with ease and appropriateness even when they fell behind, became distracted, or were not paying as much attention. We had a great time with Taadidiin Tours! I did a lot of research on Antelope Canyon and ultimately decided to go with this tour company instead. Although we did not visit Antelope Canyon, we visited two other canyons that I assume are very similar or pretty much the same thing as antelope. Taadidiin Tours is the only tour company that visits these canyons so there were only about 30 or 40 people there while we were there. I've heard horror stories about Antelope Canyon being Less than pleasant because it's so crowded. Also, we paid half the price to tour with Taadidiin versus the typical antelope tour company. Wow amazing and breathtaking views of God's wonder. No wonder why so many foreign tourists visit this place. Once you arrive and check in for your scheduled tour, you'll ride in a van, and the driver will drive off-road to the Antelope Canyon site. I would give this 5-stars if the tour consisted of explanations of how this magnificent site was created. It would be nice if there was a speaker system during the van ride, where the guide could explain the history of this land. Don't expect a traditional tour guide. The guy just drove us there, walked us through the canyon, and took our photos in specific locations. They do not offer clean restrooms, only outdoor port-o-potties. We gave this business and tour a try based on the outstanding reviews and videos shown on Instagram and TikTok. While the views were absolutely stunning, the tour guide was the worst tour guide my family has ever had on an excursion from start to finish. He was unenthusiastic about the tour and did not share any history (although the tour description and website said that this would be part of the experience). The tour was rushed. At many times, our group was immediately behind another group and would have to wait to explore and take pictures. While the tour guide did ask if anyone wanted group pictures, the pictures taken by him were worthless as they were all blurry or captured with our eyes closed. At some points, we had opportunities to take pictures of our own, but these opportunities were also rushed and often times the tour guide would just stare at us with no personality, making the tour a very uncomfortable experience. When we asked him questions, he was very short and did not interact much with the group (if not at all in my opinion). My family was in town for the GCU graduation and drove 4 hours from Phoenix to experience THE BEAUTIFUL canyons but for the price and customer experience, it was absolutely not worth it. I would say the tour guide was also a reflection of the check in experience, as the lady we interacted with at check in did not seem as enthusiastic as well. So, our interactions with the employees of the business did take away from our experience. We will not go back and would not recommend this experience. If you still decide to do this tour with this company, try your best not to do your tour with Kristian if that is an option. Otherwise, go somewhere. read more

After doing extensive research regarding Antelope Canyon tours I decided to go with Canyon X by Taadidiin as these tours are supposed to be more relaxed and not crowded. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. There were 4 groups of 12 people each that are doing tours at the same time. My recommendation would be to cut that down to 2 groups as 4 is just too much to actually enjoy it. People were always waiting right around the corner or coming from the opposite direction and blocking corners. This is not a tour where you go in one way and another way out. Our tour guide gave us information regarding the canyon around us and her tribe, however, often times she had to speak super fast because the next group was already right behind us and I had a hard time following. We were given time to stop for pictures and our guide was offering to take pictures in several spots, however, given the amount of people this had to be rushed as well. I haven't done any other Antelope tours so I can't compare them but from what it looks like is that other tours consist of even more people so you can decide which is a better fit for you. read more
