We had such a great time here! It's a family-owned spot and you can really feel that warmth, everyone was incredibly friendly. We actually arrived right before they closed (heads up: they do close a bit earlier than other tours in the area, so try to get there by 2:30 PM for the final tour). I called ahead to check pricing and it's definitely more affordable than other options nearby, especially for kids under 17. The walk was about 1.5 miles, but totally worth it. Our guide was even kind enough to help us snap some amazing photos! Easily the highlight of our day.

The process of booking this tour was so easy. We had to reschedule because the dates of our visit changed. They were so accommodating! Our driver, out to the site, Cynthia, shared a little about her life and shared some phrases in Navajo. She was friendly and made us feel at ease. Our guide, Josh, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and funny. He was also accommodating as he took time to take pictures of guests in the canyons. Truly, he made us feel welcome! He also shared some tips about our next destination which made our trip so enjoyable. I highly recommend Taadidiin Tours! Don't miss this if you are in the Page, Arizona area!

I planned a trip to Arizona just to see Antelope Canyon. It wasn't until a week before my trip that I realized that Antelope Canyon is on Navajo land and you need a guided tour to be able to visit. I did some research and since I was going in February, it didn't matter if I went to Upper Canyon because I wouldn't be able to see the light tunnels. When I was trying to decide which one to go to, and which tour company, I came across a travel blogger who had done all three parts. He said that he recommended Canyon X. I saw that Taadidiin Tour was the only tour operator for Canyon X. The reviews stated that it was less crowded and less rushed, resulting in an opportunity to get better pictures. I was sold. I booked for a Wednesday at 1 PM since a lot of the recommendations said 10 AM to 1 PM was a good time. However, the morning of there was a snowstorm at the Grand Canyon and we could not exit the east entrance to Cameron and had to detour to the south entrance through Flaggstaff and with the snowstorm we would have made it right around the start of the tour and not 20 to 30 minutes early. I called when they opened and spoke to Naomi who was very friendly and accommodating and rebooked my family to 3 PM. A couple hours later got a call from Kendrick saying that they're making the difficult decision to cancel all the tours for the remainder of the day due to snow and the road closures. We discussed options and he was able to rebook me for 9 AM the next day. He was very helpful and friendly as well. We arrived the next morning and the check-in process was very smooth. We were told to come back about 10 minutes before the tour and could use the porta potties. The ride to the canyon was about 10 min. It was bumpy because the road is terrain and not paved. We were in like a 14 passenger van. Our tour guide was with Tommy and he was so friendly and funny. He showed us where we should take pictures and helped us take pictures as well using the panorama features. Even though I didn't go in the afternoon as originally planned the 9 AM timeslot was great. The tour was an hour and a half. There are steps to walk down and which is the easy part, but you do have to take the steps back up. The other family with us had young children and a toddler with a car seat, but they did fine.

I booked the X canyon tour via third party, next time i will book directly with the tour company. The operation is transparent and efficient. The tour leaves on time, stages 10 minutes before they depart and the website recommends arriving early ( 20 minutes, get checked in, confirm the waiver is signed, use the bathroom ( there are not restrooms on the hike ) and make sure bags are left in the car ). Each van has around 8 - 12 people and that will be your tour group. The drivers are friendly. After 10 minutes, the van drops off on the top of the canyon. We only brought our phones. They don't allow equipment, bags, purses, food or any drink ( besides water ). Our guide was Van and he was beyond perfect. He was informative, helpful and fun. He walked us down explaining the. History, geology and cultural background. He also took great pictures at the best spots. Next time we're in the area we will book the longer hike in the other canyon.

Had a great experience with this your. Was not trying to spend over $100 per child when one of them is only 1 and this was a great choice. Our tour guide Josh was fantastic and we got amazing photos of the slot canyons. I am extremely satisfied with this tour.

This morning we went onto property within Navajo Nation to view a slot canyon. We chose Antelope Canyon X Tours because there was less hiking and a shorter time span. It was perfect for us. Our tour was split into three groups of 12 or less. A nice size! Thomas, our Navajo guide was informative and fun. We highly recommend it.

My son and I had an amazing time on this tour. The guide, Kylie, was charming and knowledgeable. This is one of the most beautiful and unique sites. The company does an excellent job of providing a wonderful experience.

We had the best guide! Jameson is Navajo and had stories handed down from his ancestors about the caverns. He also took wonderful photos of us in perfect spots. A van takes you down to a lower area where you walk down to enter the canyon. The walk down to the slot canyons is a lot easier than the walk back up but there are shaded benches along the way. Leave everything except water and a camera or phone in the car. (If you have Jameson, you won't need a selfie stick!) Inside, the walk is easy with no climbing, no ladders and no crawling. It's magical and a must do for anyone that can handle the walk back up the wide, low steps...but there are a lot of them as it is a 250 foot elevation to return after the tour.

    Cardiac Canyon, Skip the Lines

Had a fantastic visit to Cardiac Canyon this week. Booked it for me and a buddy. The Taadidiin Tours operation was very well organized and efficient. They did a great job keeping in touch and letting us know what we needed when we got there. Our host Joshua was awesome. Great guy, very careful, and did a great job. Inside the canyon, it's just as beautiful as the best pictures you'll see of slot canyons. The entire three hours we were out, only saw three other people, and they were a photography party. There was none of the waiting for people to clear out in front of you to get an empty picture. I would do it again in a second. And they've developed a new way into Cardiac, so we didn't drop down not have to traverse the sand dune. By the BTW, Cardiac Canyon is in the same general area as Antelope Canyon and the same company does their own tour of Antelope Canyon. I did not do that tour so I can't comment on it, but the company and the people are awesome.

It was wonderful! I consider a must do if you are in the area. Darlene was our guide and I felt like she made every effort for my trip to be awesome! She gladly took and ASKED if we wanted our pictures taken. She encouraged us to take as much time as we wanted. Never felt rushed. I'm 74 and the climb out of the canyon is steep. She stayed with me the whole time to be sure I was ok! The stories she told, info she gave and her unimposing way made this trip great. Views unbeatable! Loved it and would gladly pay to go again.

You have to take a tour to visit Antelope Canyon, so I shared my thoughts on that experience on the tour company's page. When visiting Antelope Canyon, you have the choice of either Upper Canyon or Lower Canyon. Upper Canyon is the more popular and famous option as it's where the light beams occur at different times of the day. Lower Canyon is where you get deeper into the canyon. No matter which canyon you choose, make sure to book your reservations weeks in advance. If you don't, especially if it's a weekend or peak season, you'll likely be out of luck. We visited on a Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. Antelope Canyon has become one of the most popular attractions in Arizona thanks to TikTok and Instagram. In many ways, it's becoming the new "Grand Canyon." Even if you're not big on social media, if you're a certain age, you know Antelope Canyon. Why? It was the standard wallpaper on Microsoft Windows for many years. And yes, the pictures are just as mesmerizing as reality at this natural wonder. The incredible formations inside this canyon were caused by many years of flooding and weather elements such as wind. You'll spend about 45 minutes in the canyon taking it the beauty of the canyon which is located on the Navajo Nation reservation. You'll be taking a lot of pictures of yourself, of the canyon, and listening to what your tour guide shares with you about the history of the canyon. It's one of those places that everyone should visit at some point in their lives if they're able. It's that incredible. It takes some planning and it's not cheap, but it's well worth it.

This in my humble opinion is and has become the top, must visit and see destination in Arizona. Let me try and explain why it surpasses the Grand Canyon. These gorgeous canyons were naturally carved over thousands of years by the combined forces of the eroding water via flash floods and the strong winds interacting with the sandstone. Hence behold these spectacular smooth natural flowing, swirling and narrow rock formations as our stellar guide and the others educated us via words, music and lyrics. The 70 minute tour in the afternoon( & earlier one around 10 am) is timed perfectly to coincide with the proper angles and intensity of the sun's rays as we made our way down to this wonderland. It was a lovely and breezy 80 degrees and maybe 70 ish when we got to the bottom. Please wear comfy sneakers. This beauty is in Page, Arizona just 271 miles north of Phoenix. I emphasis again this is a once in a lifetime event.

The tour is already $45 but you have to go in with the guide. They yell at you to get to one side and even grab you to move you sometimes. There was a guy that wasn't a part of our group that got yelled at for walking to slow. He turned around and told the tour lady he was taking a picture and she said she he stopped and held up the line. He was getting mad saying what's the point of coming in here if not for pictures. There's only one way in and one way out. As you're walking in there's other people exiting and squeezing through. You're limited to taking one photo at each spot and if it doesn't Come out good they tell you too bad you should've had your camera settings right. The tour lady pushed me to the side of the wall at one point as she screamed at everyone to get to the right. There's a photography tour price of $160 which looks like they get better treatment. They block the tourists so the photographers could get their shots. If you ask me there's too many people inside at once. We came here back in 2007 and there wasn't nearly as many people inside so you had some wiggle room. I think the Navajos are being a bit greedy trying to fit all these tours in. They should limit how many people go in per hour so you could at least breathe and enjoy it. The tour lady wasn't the only one yelling. The other tour guys were also yelling at their people. I understand everyone wants a picture but there's no need to be rude. Maybe if they managed their tours better for the crowd control they wouldn't have to be like this. At one point I heard the tour lady say a bunch of us were being annoying. Geez if this place wasn't so nice I doubt people would come. I keep reading the lower AC is better. I will have to check it out. For now I don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless you are prepared to be rushed and crammed into tight spaces. Or perhaps you enjoyed being yelled at and stressed throughout your trip. They even ask for tips after it's over... It's not like they don't make money off of this place already. Shaking my head...
