We did lots of research before deciding what company to book our tour through. We could not be HAPPIER that we picked Shun'Diin! The communication from the beginning was superb! They picked us up and drove us to the tour site. We got a lot of information on the culture and history of the surrounding areas as well as the home base for the tour. They were incredibly friendly throughout the whole day. They offered to take photos to us and because we were there on a honeymoon they even did a special photo for us. They also gave several recommendations for activities and sites to see in the surrounding area. Could not have been happier with our experience. And it felt great to support a family operation versus a bigger chain company who just looks at us like a number. Thank you Shun'Diin!

this company tour is the best. Erwin is very nice and he will tell you the history of City of Page Arizona. what we paid for is very worth it and i will definitely book our next tour with this company. i highly recommend this company. Erwin Thank you so much for this beautiful experience

What an incredible tour. Our guides Nathan and Erwin were above and beyond. My 80 year old dad was struggling with the altitude and heat and Nathan made sure he got back to a shaded area where he could sit down. As Nathan guides us through the canyon he made sure we got incredible pictures. Erwin was out driver and along the way he told us about Navajo history as well as his history. It truly enhanced the tour.

'My husband and I needed a break and decided to book a tour of Antelope Canyon for November 5th. We made our reservation through Shun'Diin Canyon Tours and it was fantastic. I don't know why it took use so long to visit this beautiful , special area near Page Az. Our guide was phenomenal. Erwin was gracious and shared so much of his culture with us. He brought snacks, showed us additional sites and really spent time offering information about the Navajo nation and customs. He takes great pictures and is responsible for the cool shot of the person (me) in my husband's hand. There is so much more to see that we won't wait long to return. When we do return it will be with Erwin and Shun'Diin tours. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Shun-Diin Canyon Tours. From start to finish the entire process was seamless, and Erwin and Amelia went so far above and beyond to ensure I had an incredible experience. Erwin confirmed my address and pickup time the day before my tour to ensure a smooth start to the day. He arrived on time in the morning and en route to the first tour he told fascinating stories about his family's history and their connection to the land, which enhanced my experience on the tours. After my first tour at Lower Canyon - which was incredible - Erwin was waiting for me with cold water and snacks, and we headed off to my second tour of the day at Upper Canyon. While waiting for the tour to begin I met Erwin's wife Amelia, and she was incredibly welcoming and kind as well. After my second tour of the day, since I was the only person on the shuttle that day, Erwin offered to take me to the nearby swap meet where I was able to purchase some beautiful authentic jewelry from local vendors, a great place for souvenirs and an unexpected bonus to the day! On top of all that, he then voluntarily drove me to Glen Canyon Dam Overlook and we hiked down to the lookout point which was a beautiful view and something I wouldn't have been able to see on my own since I didn't have a car during my time in Page. I was absolutely blown away by Erwin and Amelia's kindness and generosity. My time in Antelope Canyon was amazing and I owe that largely to them. I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting area!

Amelia and Erwin of Shun'Diin tours took such amazing care of me and my family the entire trip. I cannot emphasize enough that we would not have been able to have the incredible experience we did without their guidance and care! Cannot recommend booking with this Navajo-owned family business enough. For starters, our luggage never made it to the airport with us. Amelia and Erwin picked us up from the airport, took us to Walmart so we could get supplies and clothes for our trip, then to a restaurant to eat dinner altogether, then finally our hotel. Without their help, we would've been completely out of luck as there are no Ubers or Taxis readily available to charter us around town. The tours themselves were so awesome and seamless - I loved how we were able to have an intimate tour with just us and my family without anyone else in our group tour. We did a full day of touring the Lower Canyon, Upper Canyon, Rattlesnake & Owl Slot Canyons, and finally ended at the Horseshoe Bend, all with different tour guides. Once again they took amazing care of us the entire day with a well thought out itinerary. From picking us up at our hotel, to the hot lunch they provided between tours, to shuttling us anywhere we needed to go afterward (we had booked massages in town), and finally picking up our luggage at the airport while we were at said massage appointments and dropping it off to our hotel rooms so we didn't have to figure out a way to do it ourselves. They made our trip unforgettable by going above and beyond being just a group tour service!

We had the privilege of joining Shun'Diin tours today with Erwin at the wheel of their immaculate Sprinter. What a treat! Erwin not only knows the area backward and forward having grown up here but has an outstanding ability to share stories, history and so much more. What a gracious and knowledgeable individual. Erwin was able to elevate his portion of our tour through Page from a good experience to a great one with his knowledge and history. These are the people to see to get a first-hand, in-depth experience from local Native Americans who know and love and understand the area. One of the best tours I have ever been on and I've been on a lot of tours. I had no idea how beautiful Page, Arizona is and we will definitely come back and definitely book Shun'Diin tours as well.

I had been wanting to visit these canyons for years and am so happy U choose this company to do it with. I met with Erwin who was with us and picked us up and always had water and snacks for us! How awesome is that. He was very knowledgeable about the area and honestly it just felt like we were all driving around with our family. He was so easy going and always making sure we were good. The sites were spectacular. I think I have a million photos on my phone. On our first day tour with them one of the canyons closed due to snow fall and they were able to accommodate us for early the next day since we were leaving the area. We also met his wife Amelia which was the sweetest and talked to us and told us about the area and her upbringing there. Which really makes you see the whole place I'm a new light. Amazing experience and thank you for sharing your homelands with us!!!

The tour is already $45 but you have to go in with the guide. They yell at you to get to one side and even grab you to move you sometimes. There was a guy that wasn't a part of our group that got yelled at for walking to slow. He turned around and told the tour lady he was taking a picture and she said she he stopped and held up the line. He was getting mad saying what's the point of coming in here if not for pictures. There's only one way in and one way out. As you're walking in there's other people exiting and squeezing through. You're limited to taking one photo at each spot and if it doesn't Come out good they tell you too bad you should've had your camera settings right. The tour lady pushed me to the side of the wall at one point as she screamed at everyone to get to the right. There's a photography tour price of $160 which looks like they get better treatment. They block the tourists so the photographers could get their shots. If you ask me there's too many people inside at once. We came here back in 2007 and there wasn't nearly as many people inside so you had some wiggle room. I think the Navajos are being a bit greedy trying to fit all these tours in. They should limit how many people go in per hour so you could at least breathe and enjoy it. The tour lady wasn't the only one yelling. The other tour guys were also yelling at their people. I understand everyone wants a picture but there's no need to be rude. Maybe if they managed their tours better for the crowd control they wouldn't have to be like this. At one point I heard the tour lady say a bunch of us were being annoying. Geez if this place wasn't so nice I doubt people would come. I keep reading the lower AC is better. I will have to check it out. For now I don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless you are prepared to be rushed and crammed into tight spaces. Or perhaps you enjoyed being yelled at and stressed throughout your trip. They even ask for tips after it's over... It's not like they don't make money off of this place already. Shaking my head...

The day before our tour, Julia called to let us know strong headwinds were expected and asked if we wanted to adjust our time. We already had a different morning tour scheduled, and they were incredibly accommodating with our plans. At the launch site, we met our guide Logan, and we were lucky that it was just our family of four on this tour. Husband and I wore aqua shoes and my daughters opted to wear their Birkenstock sandals and go barefoot, which was fine if you're okay with getting red mud on them. Logan was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous since I'm a beginner kayaker, but he let us move at our own pace. It ended up being a great workout while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The canyon was quiet, beautiful, and not crowded at all. We paddled across Lake Powell and into the canyon, and the cool lake water felt amazing in the warm end-of-March weather (mid-80s). They provided life jackets, offered bottled water, and Logan even took photos of us both on the water and at the end of the canyon, which we really appreciated. He also shared helpful paddling tips along the way. The entire tour lasted about 2.5-3 hours and was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. John and Sid (the other employee) made this tour worth it. They provided awesome recommendations for things in the area and also future outdoor related activities in the U.S. Be sure to pack enough water. Remember you are in a kayak and your items will likely get soaked. Luckily they provide one water proof bag per kayak which can hold your phone and camera. If you feel the need to pack more, I recommend that you bring your own waterproof back pack. I opted to go barefoot in the kayak and wear shoes on the hike. You will have to walk through water to get on and off of the boat. Do not let your size and fitness level deter you from this tour. The team is incredibly accommodating and reassuring, making this the perfect tour for all. Highly recommend this tour and either Sid or John!
