We had Roadside Bistro cater our Rehearsal Dinner of 50 people. Devon & Michael were extremely communicative and great to work with! We had SOOO much food, we had it for days after the rehearsal. It was super affordable, too! I know they do full-service catering, but we had them just deliver trays of BBQ & Sides, and it was amazing! The BBQ & potato salad were out of this world good, and all of our guests were raving about the food! They also have GREAT vegan options, as so many of our guests are vegan. So the lobster roll isn't very big in size but big in flavor. It's perfectly crafted and busting with flavor. If your super hungry go for a cheesesteak and you won't be disappointed. Also the blueberry peach salad is fantastic and fresh. Aside from the Lobster roll everything is greatly priced. That said I have no issue paying $20 for a Lobster roll that fantastic. Extensive menu for a food truck, so ordered two items, a 7.00 Gyro that was not oversized as sometimes can be and it was what I expected, equal to others I have enjoyed although it could have had more cucumber sauce. 8.50 cheeseburger combo no bun with curly steak fries and water. We just got done touring Wallenpaupack Creek Farm for our wedding venue and we were starving. On our way out of town, we spotted a huge sign on the side of the road advertising "LOBSTER ROLLS" and I do love me a lobster roll and on the side of the road too? Sure, sounds safe, why not? Comes with bistro fries. )) The burger was amazing!!! I HIGHLY recommended this to anyone, the flavor was outrageous and I loved the fries. We're not from the area and came to find out that this ordinary looking truck had a cute outdoor seating area and did catering too! Wow man. We came up to the area last year after a trip of lobster rolls up the coast to Maine. This was our first and last stop on that trip. One of our top rolls. I got a lobster roll here the other day, it was decent but was on the small side and I didn't taste lobster, just lemon. Not bad outright, I still enjoyed it in general, but for $17 I was hoping for something better than a bag of kettle chips and a thick piece of toast piled with lemony lobster. The pizza itself has a powerful flavor which was pretty good, though would recommend sharing even the personal (smaller) pizza as the BBQ sauce gets a little sweet. I spent most of the summer on staff at a nearby summer camp and discovered this great little food truck as a welcome alternative on the nights I couldn't deal with camp meals. It's a cute little food truck literally on the "roadside" on the 2-lane Main Street in Newfoundland. They offer fresh and delicious food that is reasonably-priced and includes a regular menu of well-prepared staples, such as the bistro fries that are made from fresh potatoes rather than the standard frozen food service fries typically dumped unceremoniously into the fryers. Other highlights from their regular menu include a hearty falafel sandwich that is even great on their gluten free wrap, delicious burgers, and General Tao's chicken tacos (although the tacos don't travel as well as the other menu items so eat them there if you can.) They also offer a unique assortment of pizzas on their pizza menu and the dill pickle pizza is a particular pleasure with just enough sour flavor and a creamy sauce with cheese to offset the sharpness of the pickles. In addition to these menus, they rotate creative and delicious monthly specials based on what is seasonal. July's highlights included a spot-on lobster roll on a toasted bun that had plenty of meat and just a touch of mayo so it didn't overpower the lobster. There was also a blueberry peach salad that looked fresh and delicious when others were eating it, but I didn't try it myself. In addition to excellent food, the staff is polite and efficient and they offer a casual outdoor area with picnic tables where you can eat and enjoy the view of the expansive fields behind the food truck. Amazing food at insanely reasonable prices. Since he opened two weeks ago I've had the Chicken Cheesesteak, the Pulled Pork Sandwhich, and the Chicken Caesar Wrap, which were all incredible.
