FANTASTIC. I would highly recommend stopping in here for lunch, and I also would recommend calling ahead and ordering to go if it's possible. The food took 30-40 minutes to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait. I got the Toga wrap, basically just a Caesar wrap, and it was delicious. Everything was fresh, the chicken was hot and cooked perfectly while the dressing came in the perfect amount. It's a hidden gem, and has different daily specials as well. Lots of options to choose from, and everyone I ate with was satisfied. Highly recommend.

Stopped in because of word of mouth. Came back within the same week because the food & staff were that good. Don't miss this little hidden gem in Dunmore. It doesn't matter what you order it's all homemade. If you need something prepared a special way just ask, they are extremely accommodating. Make sure you try the Billy Batts chicken sandwich so good ordered it both visits. The Jessie wrap & the drunken chicken panini are over the top delicious too.

Billy Batts sandwich, only half, other half went to quick!!

It's always a great lunch at the back burner. I really like the porketta and The abbey salad. The employees are awesome and the owner A+.

I love finding cafès with a big variety of drink offerings and bites. This place definitely fits the bill! I ordered a Joseph's salad with chicken: grilled chicken over spring mix, dried cranberries, crumbled blue cheese, and butter toasted walnuts with house orange viniagrette - exactly what i was looking for! Plus! You know i need at least 2 drinks wherever i go, so i ended up trying their chaga Matcha ($6.50) and coconut matcha smoothie ($8). I prefer the former but both are yummy and they use 100% premium ceremonial grade matcha! They came out mild and delicious rather than being too bitter or sweet as some matcha drinks can be. Service was amazing, though you'll need to ring a bell in case someone is in the back. I actually preferred this since the place wasn't crowded and I could take my time with the menu and everything on display. Paige was the barista and she was super friendly, and even offered me some buttons and handouts when I asked about their chaga matcha! Ambiance here is also nice! It's actually located inside a Fidelity bank but with plenty of breathing room to order at the cafè and sit to enjoy your meal. There's plenty of outdoor seating and corporate-esque seating inside. If you have Fidelity, you can actually get a discount on coffee here as well! Everything seemed pretty reasonably priced to me, coming out to just under $25. A great spot to stumble upon!

Zummo's is a coffee shop and cafe. I found it on Yelp. I could just tell it would be good. The number 2 way to judge a coffee shop. The coffee is good. My black iced coffee was good, and served quickly even though there were a lot of people there. They also sell beans from multiple roasters. Mostly blends. I was always talk about the shock and awe of a spot's baked goods case. I was shocked and awed. They had gigantic, amazing looking scones. I bought one that I'm saving for my family. I ordered a piece of one of 3 frittatas available. Spinach feta. It was way above average for cafe frittata. Good flavor and texture. They had a number of bagel sandwiches ready to be cooked. Although the front room was full when I walked in, it turns out they have a large back room as well. Lots of seating. Wood floors. They also have cool outside seating. I was impressed by Zummo's, and also the closeness of the Scranton community. Lots of people walking together outside. Gathering over coffee. Saying Hi to people. Scranton is doing something right. 5 Stars

Rarely in my travels do I encounter such a cute coffee spot that deserves a special shout out, but Blackwatch Cafe is worth a caffeine fix detour when traveling through the Scranton area. The unique vibe hits you as soon as you walk in, as there's decor worth a look in almost every direction. It's a tasteful collection of fixtures, pictures, and figures of all kinds. There is parking nearby the cafe, and the place offers a walk up window should you wish to sit on the patio outside or grab a drink to take for a stroll in the park. I ordered an iced mocha latte (half sweet), and it was prepared to perfection with a smooth taste and just the right amount of sweetness, and no hints of bitterness. It was probably the best iced mocha drink I've had in over a year. Service from the several ladies working there was really friendly. All in all, Blackwatch Cafe was a top notch cafe experience for me, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend others give them a visit when visiting Scranton. It's definitely the kind of coffee shop the world could use more of, offering a quality product, as well as a unique cafe experience. The park offers a wonderful place to stroll as well.
