I'm so happy I found them because I prefer supporting local businesses, especially when they are POC and women owned. Right off the bat, the customer service was amazing. No more than 2 hours after I submitted the order form online, was I contacted by the proprietor Christiane. After a short email exchange, we spoke on the phone to communicate order specifics and to ensure she understood my "vision." And boy, did she come through! I already had a good sense of her decorating skills, but since there were no other reviews, I really did not know what to expect in terms of flavor. I ordered a tres leche cake with dulce de leche filling, and it frikken delicious!! The cake was perfectly moist, and the flavor of the filling was well balanced with the cake - which with this flavor combo can be overly sweet. But she really killed it and everyone loved it, the birthday girl especially. I couldn't recommend Sweet as Sugar Desserts enough!
