We hired Dundaa's Kitchen to cater for our organizational retreat - best decision ever! We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Chef Fink. From the outset, he was incredibly accommodating and had excellent communication planning and leading up to the event. He created a customized and thoughtful menu for us, and really took great care with all the ingredients he sourced. We had a good number of dietary restrictions in our group, and he was able to accommodate all of these, blending them into the menu as well. It wasn't a situation where someone was singled out with a different dish every night if they were a vegetarian or had a food allergy. It's almost like you wouldn't know there were any restrictions at all! He even accommodated a last-minute request for dessert on the final night. Every dish he prepared was truly incredible. One of our team members joked that they were disappointed when they opened their own fridge at home because they missed his food so much. WOW! Dundaa's Kitchen catered my daughter's first holy communion and it was AMAZING! To start, Danial was so easy to work with - from planning the menu to coordinating the details, I found him kind, responsive and accommodating. But the real gem of hiring him was the FOOD! Short rib biscuits, banana foster pancakes, the best salad I have ever eaten and an epic omelet bar made for very happy (and full!) guests. Everyone raved about the food - even some family members who tend to be hard to impress. They loved it!!!! I especially appreciated how punctual, thorough and present Danial and Jaclyn were during the event. We also had the beverage bar which was a really nice touch. Our guests loved the fresh squeezed OJ and the herbal tea blends. Overall, they were fantastic and I am still dreaming about that vanilla buttercream cardamom rose cake! Sunday's five course dinner from Dundaa's Kitchen was so much more that a great meal. It was a wonder-filled culinary delight! Chef Danial thrilled our palate from the First Course of Roasted Chestnut Soup to the Fourth Course of orange and spice marinated Pan Seared Duck Breast. OMG! It was the best! If that was not enough, Chef Danial topped the evening with a Puffed Pastry Cinnamon Swirl for dessert. All this in my own home! In my own kitchen. At my own dinning room table! I've had food from Dundaa's Kitchen both privately (for a sentimental dinner with the hubby) & publicly by visiting the food truck. Last Sunday, after telling me and my wife that she was coming over with the kids, My daughter surprised us by having Dan (Dundaa) ring our bell and tell us he was there to cook us a 5-course dinner.
