We dropped our rental truck and trailer off here after a very long move. Donavan checked the…read moreequipment in quickly and gave me a choice of email or printed receipt, which I appreciated. I couldn't help but notice that the entire facility is immaculate. There were a couple of other customers there as I returned my equipment, and everyone was met quickly and helped very efficiently. But where this place really impressed me with their customer service was when my daughter discovered she'd lost some of her video game cartridges and wanted to look in the truck. I spoke with Sabrina on the phone, and she went above and beyond, checking the lost and found as well as looking in the cab of the truck for them. When I asked if my daughter could come in and look too, she said no problem. When we arrived, Dean got us the keys for the truck and again, went above and beyond, helping my daughter search for her lost property. We didn't find them, but my daughter has peace of mind knowing that she did all she could. We both really appreciate everyone here being so kind, courteous, and helpful.

UPDATE: It's now over 2 months since this service failure. I found additional damage to one of the…read moretrim panels once I finally got my truck back. I submitted a claim to U-Haul's insurance company accompanied by photographs and a detailed list of parts and labor from the dealer. Now, weeks later, their insurance company will not even respond to my latest email and have apparently decided they are going to just walk away from these damages. Absolutely the worst customer service I've encountered in years. If you choose to do business with them, you should consider yourself warned.

I also specifically asked them how many pounds of personal items can I put in the Trailer - JUST personal items. I was told 900 pounds. I asked the same question numerous times to be sure I could put 900 pounds in the trailer. Well they flat out lied to me. After I paid $526.20 to put a hitch on my vehicle I found out I can only put 400 pounds in the trailer. This isn't enough and now days before I'm supposed to leave and out over $500 I have to find alternative methods to move. I would NOT use this facility every again. I am currently paying HALF of what I paid to the mainstream storage place (hint, they are all over town and have a green and white logo, their name begins with the word "extra"). In addition, the on-site office folks are super warm and friendly. It's also a large facility, with a lot of space to maneuver vehicles. You can rent storage units here, or spaces for vehicles such as cars, trucks, RVs and boats. My stored items in my unit stay much cleaner, I think this is because it's an older facility, with better-built structures. The hours are super convenient: 7 am - 9 pm 365 days a year. Icing on the cake is that I have a beautiful Sandia mountain view from my unit! I absolutely love this place and would give it 10 stars if I could.
