Update and response: Your employee told me in no uncertain terms that "of course we can get a driver by the end of the day, no problem." Also, are you really telling me that Atlanta and Dallas are not frequently visited locations? Yeah right. It's a straight shot down I-20, one of the most traveled highways in our nation. Further, a different broker DID get me scheduled within 24 hours by not trying to be greedy. More lies and excuses. Scammy company. read more

Don't walk, RUN away from this company. Quote was not honored. Pick up date not honored. Non insistent customer service. On hold for 1 hour.

I used RoadRunner for the first time to transport a small Honda from Seattle to the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. $1200 was quoted but the cost went up to above $1400 based on the assigned carrier. I was prepared for that. What I wasn't prepared for was to have the car in limbo for TWO WEEKS ! The tracking page was completely useless and frustrating. So were the texts and emails with 'automated' and totally vague statements that I would hear from the driver with updates (nope) and that I didn't need to do anything further. Don't bother with the customer service number either, it's a total waste of time/effort. I liked the suggestion made in another review to put an airtag in the vehicle if you wanted to have any idea whatsoever where it is. The car left my hands on April 14 and was finally delivered to my daughter in Durham on April 29th. Good luck if you decide to use this group. They got there eventually but their customer care and service is completely nonexistent. read more

Website claims they have 24/7 tracking. Car set for 5 days before leaving my area. Took 5 days to reach someone there to be told they don't have tracking. Currently scheduled to be 1 day later but we'll see. Communication is horrible and they aren't giving the service advertised. read more

while I was in the process of searching for the right transport company, I got a quote from roadrunner. I recieved a call asking if I was still in need of transport. Zero Stars. Do yourself a favor and avoid a massive headache. I scheduled a pickup weeks in advance, I received a text and email two days prior to my scheduled pickup stating everything was on schedule. They gave me a 12 hour window. Fine. The day comes and goes. ZERO communication. I tried calling them 17 times at three different numbers. 17 TIMES! NOTHING! Well, fast forward 4 days and amazingly they contacted me because they found a driver. After speaking with Dispatch, who was rude and condescending, I realized I made a BIG Mistake and CANCELLED. USE ANYONE BUT THIS COMPANY. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS! Everyone involved should be fired immediately. The Transportation Brokerage business must be ripe for the taking with a company like this in operation. read more

Do not use this company. They misrepresent what they will do when they will do it. A broker and they could care less about your schedule.

Told me date and had to extend it by a day. Sent me a text telling me that a car was going to be showing up in 2-3 hours. Never showed had to call them one of them literally said, "I don't feel like talking to you" and hung up. Couldn't get a hold of them for 2 days. Went online found out the switched my date to 6 days later. And were trying to charge me more. Professionalism is not a thing they value obviously. And cancelled my service and asked why I'm canceling and I said unprofessional behavior of the company. Don't waste your time this business is a waste and just plan trash. Edit: Just realized these people charged me the unquoted price I was told 1500 why did they charge 1700 that makes no damn sense these people are thieves too read more

RoadRunner Auto Transport - Them telling they were coming and not showing up - Vehicle Shipping Near Me - Bethpage, New York

Received a call from roadrunner transportation, asking about my 2008 Honda fit that I was needing transportation for. I've already found another shipper and the car will be delivered shortly. The customer service representative was very rude. When I told him that I had someone else ship the car and I don't know how to get you guys to stop calling me. He said I'm not psychic and we are not mind readers. I think that was uncalled for. read more

Do not use! please, I am a veteran and was at PTSD decompression clinic based in Utah. I went through a divorce and needed my Jeep sent to me. After numerous unsuccessful call backs, and promised dates, my vehicle arrived 7 days late and then the driver called me and said I owed him 600.00 more dollars then the price I already paid. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. The driver was polite and picked up my Jeep in Chicago and a week "late" arrived in Utah. Then called me and said I had to pay him 600 extra due clothes packed in my vehicle. I paid him via Venmo and he dropped off the Jeep. I was quoted 1300.00 and about 2000.00 due to the clothes in my Jeep. NEVER was notified by this shitty company, nor could reach out to anyone for explanation. please call me before you use this company......650-714-5949 I have all the quotes, and names of the scam. Never again would I use this company. I had to pay cause I needed my Jeep. They picked up and then boosted the price. Beware, I told you so. Thank you Rob for not helping me. Inquired about transport on a Friday but settled on a Thursday knowing it would take a few days to get to our destination. They were late in picking up until Saturday afternoon and assured a Tuesday delivery despite initially confirming a Monday. THEN the truck needed repair and we didn't get our car till Thursday afternoon. And we had to go to the drop off point which was 40 min away from the agreed destination. The driver then asked me to Zelle him money because the car had some items inside it . Nothing heavy or over the window line as explained in the contract. Very dissatisfied and won't recommend this company . read more

I arranged a pick-up date with "Zack," which was confirmed through initial email. THEN RoadRunner changed the pick-up date to the following day without explanation, causing me to have to change my flight. I tried in vain to contact "Zack" and others. I was left on hold forever. My voice messages and emails were not returned. Their "customer service" is completely non-existent. Their only job as the broker is to communicate, and they fail miserably. All that said, the actual carrier -- Aledi LLC and Alex -- was fantastic, and communicated very well once I was done dealing with RoadRunner. If I had to do it over I would contact the carrier directly, and avoid dealing with this joke of a company. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I engaged for their services on May 30th, and received a confirmation for pickup on May 31st with delivery on June 3rd. This was then updated by Road Runner to say pick up on June 6th and delivery on June 9th. all still good. I called to confirm. I also called the carrier that was assigned to confirm the pickup - the carrier said they were 30 minutes away from the dealer.....but was not the truth as the carrier arrived at the dealership after the close of business. The following morning, on June 7th, I received an e mail from Road Runner saying their was reassignment of transport carriers and now the car would be picked up TBD with delivery possibly on Monday, June 10th (of which I had communicated with RR from the beginning that I would be out of town this entire week and thus June 9th was critical). I called Road Runner the morning of June 7th to understand better the situation....very unprofessional and not helpful so I asked that my order be canceled and my money returned. The representative said OK and hung up on me. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ENGAGE THIS COMPANY read more

The service was impeccable, but the communication could have been better. Starway Logistics and their driver George were awesome! The vehicle was delivered without a scratch. The skill George demonstrated getting my vehicle off of the car carrier alone was worth the $1385 I paid to have my Honda Ridgeline transported from Arkansas to Vegas. I have to believe the communication issues are the fault of RoadRunner Auto Transport -- a service company who merely locates a shipping contractor for your vehicle. This may be the reason RoadRunner has to keep making excuses for not knowing where your vehicle is located. The communication was flawed almost from the very beginning. They never responded to my emails. The website was never updated to show that my vehicle was picked up. I got a text message this morning from George at Starway that my vehicle would be arriving today -- two days ahead of schedule. It's a good thing I didn't have to work or anything. In the future, I will try to use Starway Logistics or a similar shipper directly and bypass RoadRunner. read more

Horrible experience post-sale. Returned sales call within two minutes of requesting a quote. After the sale, I called almost ten times, on hold for over ten minutes each, without a response from them. I emailed my sales rep three times, without a return. I used an enclosed carrier to ship a collector car and the driver hit the transporter while backing out, causing minor damage. I sent photos and statements, but still without a message back. I have cancelled the charge on my credit card in an attempt to get a call back, figuring transporting a car across country for free may inspire them to actually care about service post sale. Still waiting..... read more

DO NOT BOOK with Road Runner. They will likely quote you a pick up date that is inaccurate. I was told explicitly by their salesperson that my car would be picked up on a certain date. No carrier reached out and no carrier was assigned within 24 hours of the pick up date. I had no idea when to be at home with my car. I called customer service more than 5 times today and was just routed back to the main menu. The person who gave me a quote, Nicholas Forelli, did not return my call. Based on this experience, I am fairly certain this company is some sort of scam and does not offer a real service. read more

Look for another transportation company, they're lack of comprise and communication is unacceptable. They are unreachable we were about to call the police to report our vehicle stolen- due to getting no type of update, or being able to get a hold of them. Horrible experience they charged us $1,400, which we thought was reasonable due to the 3 day delivery ETA provided. We had found another company for 900$, but they had a 4 day delivery. If there was zero stars they would get zero. NO NO NO NO!!! DO NOT use this company. huge mistake on my part for not doing enough research!! We hired them to ship 3 of our cars from LA to CA. they used a third party called Scott's. The guy showed almost a day late, we'd already left for the drive cross country and had to have our neighbor help us out, at 1am!!! Once the cars arrived to our destination in CA, they had to be dropped off before we arrived, we were traveling with our child and couldn't drive straight through. Once we checked our cars out the level of damage to our SUV was literally beyond repair. The dashboard where the radio and temp control is was destroyed!! Like WTF happened in here!?!? There was a strange substance all over the window and the carpet of the car, there were scratches all over the car, strange fluid on the headliner as well. We called immediately and they gave us some BS story that they hit a dear and went back for it and decided to store it in our car - one of the blankets we had covering the back area seemed to have some kind or brown/red substance all over it, like something had been leaking for hours, through to the boxes we had in there. We called road runner to tell them about this and they admitted that NOTHING should have been placed in our cars, and that they would get back to us. Another one of our cars was also damaged inside and it was clear that something had been placed in it as well. Meanwhile road runner assured me that the only time the car would be accessed is to move it on and off. Each car had extra miles on it too. We had to call the sherriffs dept and do some DNA samples from the substance taht was all over the car. It was a total nightmare. Road runner took zero accountability. The SUV with the most damage is no longer manufactured and all the parts are no longer available. We ended up having to go through our own insurance to get it repaired. Road runner took they time responding and did nothing to fix the car and in fact offered less than 1000k for repairs, which the repairs came out to be closer to 15k. Unbelievable company - liars. Totally immoral. Scotts Auto didn't take responsibility either. Good luck finding a good auto shipping company. From our experience, you're better off driving your car if you can. read more

Terrible experience.... They absolutely refuse to give you any updates on where the car is. I keep being told they will call you in two to three hours, well now it's the end of the day and I have no car and no update. It is unreasonable to expect a customer to keep days on hold without any estimate window. I have plans I have to cancel tomorrow if they don't get me this car in time... They suggested I ask my neighbor to receive the car which is literally insane. All customer service agents had an attitude, will never use again MARCH 16 Two days later I still have no update on where my car is, and no escalation from road runner (other than that they called the carrier for an update....... Wouldn't you do that the day of delivery when the car doesn't have an ETA?). Looks like I will be canceling my weekend plans to wait around on their vehicle. Road Runner's policy for customer service is that they will not call the carrier for an update on the day of delivery, so expect NO HELP the day your car is being delivered. They have 0 accountability over their carriers and no interest in helping their customers. read more

We used this company once before and had a good experience. This time we booked and confirmed. The day before the car was to be picked up the driver demanded more money or he would not take the car. We were in a bad situation so we paid the upcharge. It was very difficult to get in touch with Road Runner. When someone called back they said they would not honor the original price, that the drivers could upcharge any amount and this will happen in the future if any driver wants to charge more. I had a horrendous experience with this auto transport company. At first, I believed that the pick up would go smoothly, as i made the reservation a week in advance. When the day came for my car to be picked up, I had received communication that they would be there in the morning. I waited all day long, called the customer service hotline several times, and received no updates from the company or the driver. No one returned calls, and no one could tell me where the driver was. I had a flight early the next morning booked as well. The dispatch finally sent an automated email with the carrier company # and the drivers number, but they both conveniently happened to be disconnected so there was no way we could get in touch. The next day, we got a call saying that our car would finally be picked up, only for it to be delayed once more due to the fact the the scheduled driver needed to take a sobriety test. On the third day of dealing with the company, my car was finally picked up, where I had to haggle with the driver to take it since it was "overloaded". Plus, I was promised door to door delivery service, and had to have the car driven to a nearby store to be collected. And, they definitely bait and switch their prices. I was quoted and confirmed for 1245, and then was bumped up to 1495, plus the 200 dollars extra the driver forced me to pay because the car was "overloaded". I had a stack of clothes in the backseat of my car, that was nowhere near over 100lbs. The only good part about all of this is that my car arrived in timely fashion, but still it was such a nightmare dealing with this company. They lack professionalism and communication, and I would never, ever recommend someone using this company. AVOID this company at all costs! read more

They withdrew $1045 from my bank account even though I never booked with anyone because the times that were available for pickup did not work for me. I've been on hold for over 3 hours no one answers. I'm calling my bank for fraud and the BBB. Follow up: Called my bank and they're appalled and put a stop payment on any future payments. If the charges aren't reversed they will file a dispute. Road runner finally called me back 24 hours later and said they charge a card once assigned to a carrier??? Wtf. How do you charge someone for an assignment without even knowing if the assignment works for both parties???? I told them I will be filing with the BBB today as what they're doing is a total scam. $1045 is a lot of money to willy nilly be taking from people's bank account. Update: I'm not sure what the reply states there is an alternate payment? There was never an option to partially pay prior. Regardless taking money for services not rendered is poor practice. It took me nearly a week to get my money back because instead of them canceling the charge they put that charge through and then gave me the $1045 back. Even though it's slightly cheaper than other companies, it's not worth it. I was quoted for $725 with a pickup date of 10/28, they called me on 10/29 saying no driver was willing to accept that rate and said I would have to pay $850. An absolute bait and switch, not to mention they were delayed by a day! Also, there is no way to track your car, and the communication across the board was brutal. They did not give me an exact time to have the car picked up, so I had to basically be "on call" for the entire day. Save yourself the trouble and peace of mind and find another company. read more

Where to begin? 1. Auto Tracking - No there isn't. Just a webpage updated 24 hours after the fact. 2. Web-based customer service chats - Not available EVER! 3. Customer Service agents - rarely get through and limited efforts once you do get through. 4. My transport driver lost the key fobs to my Prius and my alarm system enroute. 5. I owed them $950 payable on delivery. I withheld $150 due to the fact that I didn't think I'd get satisfaction. When the sign on the truck "JAJ GLobal" is written in Sharpie on a cardboard sign taped to the side of the truck, it does NOT instill confidence. 6. The driver replaced my Prius fob (he had to to get the car off his truck) 7. He could not replace the alarm fob and given the age of the vehicle I may have had to replace the full alarm including installation costs. 8. Road Runner customer service said in an email which I have, "the carrier will make everything right..." 9. Luckily, I found the installer in PA and they sent me a new alarm fob for $75. 10. I then had to get my existing Prius fob reprogrammed at the Toyota dealer to match the one created by the truck driver (item 6 above) for $179.99 11. So I am out $104.95...$150 - $75 - $179.99. 12. When I contact Road Runner "customer service" they told me "You were already compensated when you withheld the $150 at delivery. We consider this case closed." 13. When asked if I could file a claim through the "extra insurance policy" the service rep said "No." 13. When I contacted the carrier, they said "I already lost money on this job, I can't pay more..." RoadRunner Auto Transport - "Professional sign" for JAJ Global - Vehicle Shipping Near Me - Bethpage, New York

I wish I would have checked Yelp before using these dudes. They definitely live up to their 1.5 stars. Roadrunner. Where do I start with these guys. I am overall very disappointed with Road Runner Trucking Services. I find their customer service to be poor, not reliable, misleading, did not live up to the services they said they would deliver and charged me without providing any services. I inquired about a quote online and thankfully put in the wrong phone number because the guy hounded me essentially everyday asking whether I was ready to proceed with shipping my car so we only communicated via email. He obviously must be commission. He told me the following: don't rely on/trust brokers because they will quote you one price and if they can't find a trucker, they will cancel, or if a trucker requests more $ than they will charge me the difference, essentially saying the quote means nothing and RR is different. They're quote was $1145, which was reasonable compared to other quotes I got. They will contact me in advance for pick-up and vehicle must be available all day between 9-6p as they could pick-up anytime, but said I could leave the keys in the vehicle since I couldn't make myself available all day and they had no objections to the address provided for pick-up. Come the following day, a trucker called me, who could not speak English well so we were barely able to communicate, but a few words, but what I could understand is, he would not pick up that address due to the location and suggested a Target parking lot 3mi away (how am I supposed to get home) and that I had to be present at pick-up so couldn't leave the car there and also he would pick-up sometime between 6-9p. So I call the guy who originally reserved the pick-up and leave VM explaining the issues and of course he doesn't call back. I email him and of course no reply. He already got the sale so why bother addressing my issues. I then get a call back from some guy from NY and hour or two later who is very blunt. I share my concerns about pick-up location and pick-up time in the evening when I was told business hours. He then he says very frankly, it is 9-9p pick up times and they can advise on other locations and I need to review the terms and conditions. After a couple of minutes of back and forth he becomes a bit more friendly and tries to locate an address closer by which we find one and he goes onto to say they'll find another trucker. To cut to the chase after 2 days, multiple calls, them saying they'll pick-up and don't, and then the last time they say they have a driver, but it will cost me $1260 b/c he's more expensive. What happen to the $1145? Whatever? At this point I just want to get my vehicle transported, but of course this dude never shows up and I get this email saying the trucker cancelled. An email? They couldn't call me and inform me? Smh. I call last time, wait on hold for a few min., someone finally picks up who's irritated already and haven't even said anything or give him my ref #, after I do he says hold on, I hear hold music for couple of minutes just to hear someone else pick up and ask me for my ref # so obviously I was put back into the queue. And the final straw is I cancel my reservation to find out they already charged me $1260 and it will take like 5+ business days to get my money back. Smh. read more
