Large indoor seating area, with 3 or more rooms. I was surprised, but happy to see that dogs are allowed inside (I guess since they don't serve food?). There is also a smaller outdoor seating area by the food truck. Hand sanitizer is provided. Large offering of beers, so should be something for every taste. Love this place & their welcoming atmosphere. They offer a variety of homemade brews to choose from. The brewery has huge windows facing the street so you can enjoy watching all the action going on outside like, cyclist, runners, dog walkers & more. They offer plenty of indoor seating & some outdoor seating as well. if your lucky, you'll spot the cute cat that lives inside the brewery. And if your hungry, there's a food truck called Project Pollo that's always parked outside the brewery, they offer burgers, wraps, "chickn" sandwiches, buffalo wings, nuggets & more. 100% plant-based. read more

This is a fun brewery to visit. It has a spacious air-conditioned interior and has a stack of boardgames and plenty of outdoor games to entertain you (inside!). You can choose between cornhole, giant jenga, giant connect 4, and giant checkers. The brewery is dog friendly and the owner's pup is so sweet. On to the beer. They have a good variety of styles so something to please every palate. Some of their beers need to develop a bit, such as the IPAs, but they seem promising. The Mini Van Dad, a double IPA, was the best of their IPAs. The Somoa stout and WTHef hefeweizen my other favorites. The staff was friendly but seemed distracted, and it was hard to get their attention at times although we were sitting right at the bar. read more

This was probably my favorite craft brewery on my trip to San Antonio. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. The Somoa Stout was inspired but as the is my favorite Girl Scout cookie I was hoping the flavor would come through even more than it did. But a least they are making it . . . and it is still very good. The only other beer I tried was Late Night Polka Party, which had a great taste to it. It is so hot out right now. And since all roads lead to beer . . . go have one! read more

This was a super fantastic spot! Girls Pint Out had their monthly On Wednesdays We Drink gathering here and it was a blast. Staff even gave us a tour of the brewery and went into great detail describing the process (much of it being attributed to laziness, which we all found humorous). They have an awesome selection of beer and are bound to carry at least ONE you'll fall in love with. For me, it was the Wake Up Call Coffee Stout. It was like sipping on a dream. The only reason I docked a star was for a lack of a solid food menu. I know, they're a brewery, it's not why they're in business. I'm just sayin', something other than your token bar snacks would really boost it to the top for me. They seem to have food trucks, but tonight wasn't one of those nights. They also allow food to be delivered, which also works. But I guess part of a brewery's charm is enjoying their food, like a beer cheese or what have you. However, this won't stop me from visiting again, and by next time I'll probably be over that lack of a proper food menu and give them the full five stars they rightfully deserve. read more

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! I have been trying to find a not-so-busy brewery here in San Antonio for some time now and I am so glad I came across this gem. The environment was everything I was looking for and the pricing just made it even better. They had board games, a food truck outside, football playing on their big screens and family/friends all around. Another brewery in SA? Sign me up! I love seeing the beer community growing in our great city! I think they opened the week before I went in. They weren't super busy, but weren't slow either, for a random Sinday afternoon anyway. Beers were good, not necessarily anything spectacular, but all solid. We ended up getting 2 flights, which gave us the chance to try everything. My favorite was the Ballyseed, an Irish Red. Katy liked the Lil Rhody, a NE Style IPA. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do moving forward. Not sure if the taps will rotate regularly or of they will have a mostly the same. With plenty of board games to corn hole all inside for those steaming hot summer day or the chilly mildly cold winter nights lol. I'm happy to see San Antonio's craft beer community growing! Love the open floor plan and giant windows. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere was great for social gatherings. During the opening event we tried Mama Dukes, Craven Cottage and Smucker's Night Out. Out of the 3 beers the group's favorite was the Craven Cottage English Pub Ale. All of the beer was so good! We each had two flights so we got to sample almost all of the beers and some were better than others but I really liked them all. Typical brewery atmosphere-big windows, cool crowd, spacious. It had a large crowd but never felt crowded. Staff is awesome. 4.50 stars. While I still plan to frequent Still Golden and Dakota because they allow dogs inside the bar, Roadmap Brewing is the best dog friendly bar or brewery I have found in San Antonio. Why? First, the other dogs I have met here are friendly. Second, the place is pretty massive so you aren't pissing off tables of people who really aren't into dogs. Third, they have a pretty nifty water set-up for your pups. Basically, if you have a well behaved dog that isn't going to need to poop or pee for a couple of hours, this place is great. For non-dog owners, they have a ton of different beers and I thought each one I tried was pretty good. I think their NE IPA White Ford Bronco may be their top seller, but they have a number of varieties of beers to try. If you appreciate different styles of beer, then you will likely enjoy this place. While I still think Weathered Souls is the best beer I have had from a local San Antonio brewery, I'd rather drink at Roadmap given its super friendly policy to dogs and its relative proximity to my house. So if you are in the mood for good beer and don't want to leave your dog at home, then Roadmap is your best bet. read more

For a brewery that has only been open two weeks, Roadmap has their act together. We found Roadmap while visiting the San Antonio area and enjoyed a great afternoon talking with the owner and bartender. While we sampled from a wide selection of beers - all very good beers - we watched families, friends, and members of the local community come and go, all greeted with a friendly wave and excellent beverages. Ample parking is available and they offer menus from local BBQ places that deliver. Bring your own food - they are fine with that. They have chips and popcorn if your are looking for a light snack. We will definately be back to see where they go with their beer selection - looking forward many more enjoyable afternoons at Roadmap. read more

Roadtripping to South Texas & Roadmap seemed an ideal to stop for a beer & to check out a new brewery. Great spot! Highlight of the stop was the excellent beer, with styles for everyone and everything I tasted was really well done. Setup is awesome, with a ton of space and great vibes. Both a brewery dog AND brewery cat lounging around and added to the chill, welcoming, community brew vibes. Just a great place to hang, would be really great for a group outing, or a date night.
