They only mount over price tires you buy from them after they told me over the phone they would mount the tires i bought (brand new) off amazon. I even discussed that the tires where $1000 cheaper for the same exact brand and tire they had. read more

Developed a bubble on one and was told because I didn't finance the tires that there was no warranty! Seriously!!! Then quoted me $190 to replace it. I couldn't be happier with RNR. I was a first time customer and came in looking to buy tires. The front desk manager and worker were right there to help. The service was fast and accurate. In fact while ordering my tires the front desk employee advised another customer that his vehicle was ready. The customer was so shocked and said well dang lemme call my wife I just told her to come pick me up that was fast! Great place and now I'm a lifelong customer. read more

So the staff to start off are good but it's a deception. There outrages prices and lack of explanation of interest and payments to my parents I feel they took advantage of them. If i could give negative review I would, this company has made me a loyal Discount Tire company customer for life. The first red flag was when upon the suggestion from a friend I purchase tires here, I was at the counter doing paperwork and another customer comes in and says they are responding to an advertisement of starting their contract with $20 right next to me. I immediately asked my salesperson if i qualified for the same promotion and she proceeds to tell me that she is not familiar with the promotion and cannot give it to me. Mind you, she works for this company and says she is not familiar with their promotions that are being blasted daily to the listening markets of several local radio stations. Secondly, my tires constantly need air, one specifically. At last count, I have personally had 6+ visits to the store for air. No it is not my sensor, and when I asked if they did something to it, it was suggested by an rnr employee that I bring my tires to discount because they "don't do that". Thirdly, one of their employees called to remind of a payment and was rude and hung up on me twice after I matched her response to my question. This was after another employee failed to write down in the notes that I would make a payment on a previously agreed date. When I mentioned it and asked if it was their policy to still call to the female employee she attempted to dismiss me, this time with the witness of the people I had in my vehicle who heard her. I was actually out that day and immediately went into the store to address the employees behavior with the manager, the employee was still foolish enough to continue the same loud talking and ignorant behavior in front of the manager and another customer with no correction on the manager's behalf, when I recognized this, I suggested to the employee to take care of the customer she had and that her opportunity to continue speaking with me was done when she chose to hang up on me. She dismissed and attempted to deny abruptly hanging up on me with, "I told you to have a nice day". On a later date shortly thereafter, I ended up interacting with this company again and explained to another staff member that I will be arbitrarily disrepected by no one, I heard the same employee in the background laughing at a specific thing i said. When I insulted the "hang up employee" the one on the phone reminded me that my words were not necessary. I immediately reminded her that I heard her coworker laugh at me and Mr Grooms say "who does she think she's talking to" in the background and told the employee, she did not deny and changed the subject when I asked her if that were true. I had correctly assessed that they had me on speakerphone, as is their right, however again I can do business without attempts at being insulted. I shared this with them. Finally, Mr Grooms, the regional investigator, I spoke with him and where do I start, the absolute ignorance and rude behavior, the attempts to be condescending and patronize me. When I asked for the store manager, he informed me that he didn't know where she was and that he was the store manager and that he was in charge and that rnr is a million dollar business. I asked "well being that they were such a high volume company was it their successful business model to be rude and ignorant to their customers" only to be met with more ignorance and more moot conversation from him. Grooms wrongly accused me of being mad and my response which seemed to take him off guard was why would I be mad about paying for tires I was already using on my vehicle? He even admitted that he had not heard that before. He also incorrectly informed me and was ignorantly and loudly adamant that I had paid online before I corrected him that I didn't need to pay online, because I was actually in the store so much getting air that I often just paid there or over the phone. With 5 vehicles to purchase tires for, I imagine Discount Tire Company appreciates your apathy and choice to be ignorant. This company has made me a repeat lifetime customer of Discount Tire company. I write this before I visit the store once again to have air put into my right rear tire. Also, my friend has recently attempted to use their "insurance benefit" and was denied. Of course there is more to this story, I do not believe the customer is always right, but if you enjoy or tolerate being condescended or are accustomed to ghetto, ignorant sales and collection tactics rnr is the place for you. read more

Omg Mr. Grooms the regional director is worst of all it is easy to tell why staff and others are so rude and ignorant after only speaking with him briefly. I knew things were going downhill and it wasn't worth the fight when I saw the grammar in Grooms' text. I just want to make sure no one else has to experience what I have with RNR tires on College St. in Beaumont, Texas. My husband originally went in to price tires. Without my being there because I was at work when he needed tires I listened to him by phone say that the tires would be a specific price per month and that they could set it up to be same as cash by a particular date of pay off. Having used same as cash plans with other companies I assumed that the amount to be paid monthly would pay the tires off by the time needed for same as cash. I am paid twice per month and make payments to them usually every two weeks. Unfortunately they make payments due every week so I am usually two weeks behind when I pay however, they add a late fee every week of $10 so when I pay I always pay the additional money for the late fees. Today I received a voicemail from a Mr. Grooms saying that if I didn't call him back within 24 hours he would come up to my job. I took this as a threat to myself as well as my livelihood. I spoke with him and advised that if he looked at my payment history he would see that I always pay after 2 weeks. At that time he continued to speak to me as though I was beneath him. I made my payment after speaking with him for the two weeks as usual. About 2 months ago I asked for the payoff amount and was told a specific amount; today I asked for it because I want to just pay them off and not ever be bothered with them again but the price is now $250 more than it was 2 months ago!!! Now remember there are no missed payments. Paying for these tires at the amount specified will have these tires costing more than $3300. Just want to make sure no one else has to experience this bs. It's really after you think already pay off your debt they said you , still need pay a lot more and you can't access to your payments history and you finish paying almost 5000$ for 4 tires and rings that will not cost more than 2000$ in other place read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had buying tires .. they could not balance them right I paid on the tires for over a month.. took it back 3 times and they did an alignment on it which almost killed me because the guys working in the back don know how to work the machine correctly.. I spoke to the manager of the store and she says she will help but she don't like to take blame for anything and will make it seem as if I had nothing to be mad about and I was upset for nothing .. the bolts were lose that hold the steering in place and the steering wheel went left and my truck was going right good thing I was able to control my truck before going into the wall .. after all that I told them to take their tires back I'm no longer doing business with them and they scratched up my rims chipping paint and the manager again said she would have to watch the camera to see if her guys did it!!! They don't not take care of the customer at all !! It's a piece of shit store and the manager is horrible... please don't buy from these people they take your money and will not treat you right read more
