DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! THEY ARE HORRIBLE. We went with them because they were able to get us…read morein earlier than other shops and the reviews weren't bad. After fixing our vehicle, we still had issues, our running lights still weren't working (we'd told them about this when we brought it in. This was after getting rearended) and after we get it back, our entire right side back lights isn't working and there is still a shake in our door, clearly indicating that our frame was not all the way fixed. Not only that, but the day after picking it up, we went to open our back latch door and the ENTIRE LATCH CAME OUT. We bring it back in, they take an additonal week and 2 days. Our lights are fixed, but about 1 & 1/2 hours after picking the car up, we start having problems with the back latch opening again. My husband brings it back (about 4 hours after picking it up) and they tell him because it looks like we got in another accident (there was a dent in the door from trying to get it to close all the way because we couldn't get it open), they are not responsible for it. Then had the nerve to tell us that we are causing the workers stress due to it being 2 days before the Thanksgiving holiday because we want our car fixed. I would not recommend anyone bring their car to this place.

If I left a 1 it was RIDICULOUSLY generous and only because of the accounting manager, the GEICO…read moreadjuster and the receptionists. I dropped my car off on 12/21/21. Granted, I know it's holiday season and I expected there to be delays in service and parts because of that. My car is a 2012 Honda Civic SI and because it's older I also anticipated parts being hard to find. I got my car back TODAY (1/28/22). I didn't receive a single update from this place on the status of my vehicle in the 30+ days it was there. I if I needed updates I had to call and get them myself. I called multiple times and was told that I would receive a call back either from the adjuster or from someone at the shop and never received a phone call. This is my vehicle we're talking about, my way to work and what I depend on to get me wherever I need to be. My initial claim was supposed to be finished on the 10th January but it had to be extended because of parts, which again, I completely understand. I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism that I dealt with there. My insurance company extended my rental date to the 20th of January and the rental company called CarStar to ensure that they would be covering the additional days, which they agreed to. I got a call on January 26th saying that CarStar was wanting to back out of covering my rental which would have left me with a $300 bill covering additional rental days. When I called to complain and speak to a manager I was assured that I would receive a call back and never did. When I went to pick up my vehicle, which I was not notified was ready because I had to end up calling to confirm that myself, we did the walk around and there was a chip on my door handle which now I have to return to that place to get fixed. I never spoke to a supervisor or manager and although they did slightly work with me on the rental coverage I still had to come out of pocket which is completely unfair. When I left the shop my car was below empty and left me stranded on the side of a highway. When I called the shop to see if they could assist me they said they would send a tow truck that I would have to pay for out-of-pocket according to the manager. He couldn't take five minutes to speak to a customer about a complaint but was extremely quick to let me know I would have to pay for a tow truck out of pocket. I am absolutely flabbergasted at the negative experience from this place. I used to work at an Xpress repair shop which works with insurance companies and if the adjuster was not there I as a receptionist was responsible for updating customers on their vehicles, but I guess this place doesn't have the common courtesy to put that policy in place. Do not take your vehicle to this place! Seriously the worst experience with an auto shop I've ever had. I appreciate the kind women who helped me there, and if the manager reads this: Tony, I wish you would've taken a second to talk to me about the dissatisfaction I had with your workplace, maybe I wouldn't be writing this.

Scott Ferguson and his staff will ALWAYS receive my highest regards. They are very professional,…read morecordial and considerate. My dilemma with my drivers license (and other thin cards) literally being consumed by my center console of this German-made car, had plagued me more than once. Scott ask "Junior" to take a look at it, literally at the end of the day and workweek. Junior, being the very skilled technician, that he is, not only retrieved my current DL, he was able to remove my old one, a loyalty rewards card and another card. Yes, careless of me to place those items there. I've learned a valuable lesson. Nonetheless, so thankful of me also for the skilled professionalism of Vin's Paint and Body, Mid County!

I genuinely cannot recommend this body shop to anyone. My experience has been an absolute nightmare…read morefrom beginning to end, and my car is STILL there after almost two months. Before they even took my car in, I was specifically told they would not bring it into the shop until they had all the parts they needed. Once they had it, I was told the repair would take about a week and a half. That obviously wasn't true. Nearly a month later, they finally called to tell me they needed another part. Then, almost another month after that, they called AGAIN saying they needed yet another part--and now they apparently don't even know when it's going to come in. So how exactly did you have all the parts before taking my car, like you told me you did, if you're still discovering parts you need nearly two months later? The delays would already be bad enough, but the customer service has made the entire situation even worse. I've tried repeatedly to get help, answers, or some kind of solution, and instead I've been met with what feels like complete indifference. There has been zero urgency, zero accountability, and terrible communication. If they had been upfront from the beginning and actually communicated with me, this would be a completely different review. Instead, I was given a week-and-a-half estimate after being assured the necessary parts were ready, and I'm now approaching TWO MONTHS without my car with no clear completion date. I trusted this shop with an expensive vehicle that I depend on, and I seriously regret it. Based on my experience, I would never bring another vehicle here, and I would strongly recommend anyone considering this shop think twice before handing them their keys. If you're expecting honest timelines, consistent communication, accountability, or a shop that seems concerned about how long you've been without your vehicle, my experience here has been the exact opposite. Almost two months. Still no car. Still waiting on parts they originally told me they had. Still no definite date for when I'll get my vehicle back. That should tell you everything you need to know.
