They did help update and improve my pc which makes it feel faster. I am very grateful for this store for their attitude, Updates, support and service overall. Wanted to get an idea if it was cost effective to replace a cracked screen or get a new laptop…read more Went to Special Touch, guy said he has replaced "Thousands" of laptop screens, so I asked for an estimate. Said needed to leave for 2 days to open it up, told him I just want an idea to see if was worth replacing and asked since he has done "Thousands" of these repairs, what the highest cost was? This Business Genius tells me "A Million Dollars". I told him that is F'ing crazy. So this place either does not know what they are doing or they are crooks, either way you don't want your business there. Ended up going to 2 other repair shops and both were able to give a high end estimate. Robert, your response is as ridiculous as your "Million Dollars" quote. I did not get frustrated until you gave an obviously ridiculous answer. Yeah, I shouldn't have said your answer was F'ing crazy, but no other words could describe it. Don;t worry, I found Peace when I went to a professional repair shop that had no issue answering my questions. I am sure you will also find peace as your business drops off due to your stellar customer service.

They went right to work on researching the periodic problem and have spent hours fixing it. True service, not sell it and forget it. I can say they back the products and services they sell 100%. As stated no other computer we bought had any issues just this one. Great staff and leadership.

Turned out my battery was swelling and upon further examination my hard drive cable was also damaged. He was very upfront and honest about his recommendation to discontinue the repair and let Ol' Bess finish out her days in peace. He got it to where the trackpad was temporarily functioning again (it was sticking due to the swelling battery) and even re-adhered the loose glass to my screen (a separate issue) I appreciate his candor as previously I'd been given the run around by the Apple Store. I was charged a very reasonable price considering Jon was able to get Ol' Bess working just enough for me to retrieve some documents off of her. I ended up ordering a new MacBook Pro and if anything is to go wrong with that one, I'll surely SKIP THE APPLE STORE and go straight to Friendly PC.

I was hoping that they could repair it, but if not, at least recover my files and pictures that I'd stupidly not backed up nor put on the cloud. I called the night ahead to see when they opened and was told 9. I arrived at 9 on the dot and waited 15 minutes for someone to show up and open the place. He was not masked and seemed to have no safety precautions for Covid. I was told it would be about $100 (maybe more) if they were able to recover anything. With a quick look that did not involve even turning on the laptop, I was told it wasn't worth fixing because it was older. I left my laptop, and not long after received a call that no files were recoverable. There was no fee. I returned home bummed about my lost pictures and school files (I'm a teacher). Not long after, I happened to see something on Amazon that I thought was worth trying called ResQStick. It was $30. It was easy to use and within the time that it took to download all the apps, files, and pictures, I had recovered everything. If a similar situation happens to you, I highly suggest that you try this solution first. It was quite clear from the beginning that this individual had little if no interest in assisting me. Check if this is the same management and people, and if so, be aware of my experience with them.

Turns out it was a simple seal on the oil intake tube. They not only repaired it but they cleaned my entire mower. The cost, to include transportation, labor, and parts was $153. Considering their shop is 25 to 30 miles from my house and they made three one-way trips, I thought that was a hell of a deal. They were polite and professional and prompt. 3/24/26Worst customer service/customer relations I have ever experienced!…read more Agreed to a "one hour" on-line service, using Schrock Desk, intended to reconnect my email servers, which connection were lost when Cox transferred my account to Yahoo, after the Schrock tech gave me verbal assurances it would be a simple task, taking no more than one-hour, with their minimum fee of $160. When time arrived for the one hour on-line service, the assigned tech was initially unable to find my previously provided account info, so this used part of the one-hour before we even got started. Eventually, the tech said servers were connected, and the job was complete. Since the whole hour had not been used, we proceeded to make the same repair on my second computer, but the tech could not establish the on-line connection. Having failed, but not having fully used the 60 minutes, he suddenly had to leave for another customer. So, Ok., good enough, I thought, the first computer was connected. Soon after, I tried to send an email only to discover my computer was not connected to the server. The following day, I went to the Omaha Schrock physical location to request a review of the situation, only to be told I could either leave my computer at their office and they would get to it in 2 - 3 days, or we could do another Schrock Desk on-line fix, in the near future , for another $160 fee. Having lost all confidence in their service level, and feeling I should be refunded my fee for lack of performance on their part, I asked for a refund. The tech declined my request. I suggested I would then have to ask the credit card company, through which I had previously paid the $160 fee, to assist in my effort to get a refund, by filing a dispute. The tech threatened me that I would be charged with criminal theft if I filed a dispute. Or, I could escalate my complaint to their regional manager. I did escalate and the regional manager timely returned my call by leaving a voice mail message and his telephone number. Subsequent repeated efforts to contact, first, the regional manager, and, then, the owner/President of the company, have been fruitless.
