We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional team. From start to finish, their team went above and beyond. Their design and permit team really surprised us in the best way because they stayed on top of everything and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We never felt lost or overwhelmed. Our family absolutely loves the kitchen. It's very unique, modern, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell they really care about both style and functionality. They finished our two-story home exactly on the timeline they promised, which meant a lot to us. It's rare to see that level of reliability in construction. Nima was outstanding throughout the entire process. He was always on top of everything, very professional, and easy to communicate with. His design experience really stands out, and you can see it in every detail of the house. He truly cared about us and made sure we were happy every step of the way. The quality of the finish is exceptional. Every detail feels well done and high-end. Nima and his project managers met with us regularly, often daily, which made us feel very supported and confident throughout the project. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our home or the experience. Highly, highly recommend!

This was a six-figure remodel that looks acceptable only at a distance. Up close, the workmanship…read moreand quality control are far below what was contracted and paid for, and the most serious issue is unpermitted work that directly harms the homeowner. Key issues: * No permits pulled for electrical work, bathroom remodels, or major door installation (sliding/nana-style door) * Bathrooms were not properly waterproofed, resulting in a significant leak from the upstairs sink and shower into the kitchen below * Level 5 wall finish was explicitly contracted and not delivered * Paint applied over fixtures and fire sprinklers, impairing function and creating safety concerns * Poor finish work throughout: uneven surfaces, peeling paint, exposed gaps, unsecured fixtures, and visible installation shortcuts Because required permits were not obtained, I am now exposed to liability, disclosure requirements when selling, potential fines, and reduced home value. This is not a cosmetic complaint--it is a material and legal issue that the contractor failed to address. Premium materials do not excuse substandard labor, lack of oversight, and permit avoidance. I would not recommend this contractor to any homeowner expecting professional-grade work or code-compliant execution. Extra update not added on original review: I do not recommend Nima at all. This experience caused serious safety issues, stress, and legal problems as a homeowner. Water from the upstairs shower/sink leaked into the kitchen ceiling and through a recessed light fixture while electricity was on, causing the light to flicker. I have video evidence showing water actively coming through the ceiling and around the light. Seeing water pour through an electrical fixture inside your home is terrifying and created a real fear of electrical shock or fire. This occurred during a six-figure renovation, yet plumbing and bathroom work were done without proper permits and without correct waterproofing. The leak originated from upstairs plumbing and was not treated as an emergency. What made this situation far worse is that Nima completely abandoned the project. He stopped responding to calls and messages and refused to address the dangerous conditions he caused. As a homeowner, this left me dealing with unsafe living conditions, hidden water and electrical damage, and serious legal and resale risks due to unpermitted work. Because of his lack of accountability and abandonment of the job, I was forced to take legal action, including pursuing recovery through his contractor's bond. No homeowner should be put in this position. This was not cosmetic work gone wrong. This was a dangerous failure that directly impacted my safety, my home, and my peace of mind. I strongly urge anyone considering this contractor to verify permits independently and proceed with extreme caution.

Having partnered with them on several projects now, I can confidently say their work is consistently second to none. Here is why they stand out: They provide honest, expert feedback: And offer step-by-step assistance when selecting materials and items, which is invaluable if you're feeling overwhelmed by choices. Attention to Detail: Their precision is fantastic. This dedication to excellence extends to their subcontractors as well, who are clearly vetted for their skill and commitment to the same high standards. Problem Solvers: We have approached them with some truly challenging and unconventional requests over the years (we are renovating an old Tudor Revival house built in 1876). Rather than shying away, Rechenmacher Sousa has always risen to the occasion and delivered beautiful results. Professionalism & Tidiness: The staff is lovely, friendly, and--perhaps most importantly during a renovation--extremely tidy. They treat your home with respect throughout the entire process. They may not be the cheapest contractors available, but at no time during any of their projects have I had to worry about the final result. It's stressful enough going through the renovation process. After shelling out your hard-earned money, you shouldn't have to worry about what you are going to end up with on completion. With Rechenmacher Sousa the final product is always stunning. I highly, highly recommend Rechenmacher Sousa for anyone who wants a stress-free experience and a breathtaking result.

We were definitely tempted to go with the larger company but when we spoke to the owner David Mizrahi, we were convinced that he would take good care of us. We knew there was damage downstairs in the dining and living rooms and thought there was more in the upstairs bedroom over the garage. Obviously, we needed a contractor to repair the house. While we were at it, we wanted to change the look on the front of the house by changing the siding, putting a stone accent across the front, and removing brick pillars and replacing them with stone and tapered columns. We were fortunate to find Barak Elkader and Arrowhead Remodeling & Design. Barak understood what we needed to have done and accepted the job even with a few possible unknowns hidden in the walls. The Arrowhead team of Jacob, Robert, and Clinton were real craftsmen and did an extremely nice job. The siding turned out excellent and the stonework and columns were exactly what we wanted. Barak and his crew are very professional and tidy. My wife and I really appreciated that every evening after the days work was done the area was cleaned and functional. Unfortunately, now I must redo the landscaping to match the excellent look of the home.

From the very beginning, he helped us navigate through all the decisions needing to be made while staying within our budget. Additionally, Mehrdad provided great recommendations, highlighting the pros and cons of the many choices we had to make over the 13 months our project took. The project included a 500 sqft extension, a new floor plan with an open kitchen/living room, three new bathrooms, and an extra bedroom. We were very pleased with his attention to detail; he was always upfront and worked in our best interests. Where his work ethic and attentiveness really stood out for us was not when things were smooth sailing (which was most of the time), but in the few times where reality deviated from expectations. For a big project like remodeling a house, the question is not IF there will be miscommunication between client and contractor, but WHEN- there are too many moving parts to avoid it completely. But when things (very rarely!) were off, Mehrdad stepped up and made good on his promises to fix the issue, and, crucially, took detailed notes for himself to refer to, ensuring the changes were made to our satisfaction and agreement. Even months after the project was completed and the pay checks were cut, Mehrdad continued to stay in contact with us and even stopped by a few times to check on how things were going, making minor tweaks to the house as needed. The level of customer service he provided was incredible, and far beyond anything we've experienced with a contractor (and we've done a few home projects by now). And he is just a great guy all-around. Highly recommended!

We did a reconstruction project after mold renovation, a bathroom remodel that turned out so beautiful and a room addition in our home. If you are considering a construction project in your home and need a good general contractor, I highly recommend Tin and his team.

I cannot recommend this contractor based on my experience with my bathroom remodel…read more The project included relocating the toilet rough-in by cutting into the concrete slab and installing new plumbing for a custom shower. Despite this being part of the agreed scope of work, the contractor failed to relocate the toilet rough-in. As a result, the toilet was installed approximately 10 inches away from the wall, leaving it too close to the vanity and without the required clearance beside looking horrible. Rather than correcting the plumbing as contracted, the contractor changed the bathroom layout without my knowledge or consent by installing the toilet diagonally so the project would pass the final inspection. This unauthorized design change significantly altered the appearance and functionality of the bathroom. The repositioned toilet is so close to the shower that the glass shower door strikes the toilet when opened. Unfortunately, the workmanship throughout the project was consistently poor. Among the problems I encountered were: The shower glass doors were installed upside down and had cannot be corrected. The hot and cold water lines were reversed. My porcelain sink was chipped during installation, and the damage was covered with a rough repair material instead of being disclosed and properly addressed. Numerous shower tiles were cut incorrectly, resulting in excessive material waste. The contractor was unable to install the large-format tiles selected for the shower pan and ultimately replaced them with a much simpler mosaic tile because he could not complete the original design. Despite repeated discussions about maintaining the continuous veining pattern in the shower niche, the contractor installed the niche tile upside down, disrupting the intended appearance. A floor tile was chipped during construction. Because the tile had been discontinued, it had to be replaced with the closest available match, but the replacement is noticeably different from the rest of the flooring. Overall, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of attention to detail, poor workmanship, unauthorized design changes, and apparent inability to execute the work that was contracted. Instead of correcting mistakes properly, shortcuts were taken that permanently affected both the appearance and functionality of the bathroom. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this contractor to carefully inspect their work, ensure all design changes are approved in writing before they are made, and verify that the contractor has the experience necessary to complete complex bathroom renovations as promised.

Long overdue 5-star review for Fran Yetso Construction! We had a large addition to our house…read more(adding a second floor and doubling our square footage; almost half a million dollars when all said and done). Looking back, I can't imagine what it would have been like with anyone other than Fran. When we first started thinking about our project, everyone would tell us "You have to be careful! You can't trust contractors, they'll just take your money and leave and you'll be stuck!" Having been through the process, I can see where all the concern is on both sides: home renovation is an inherently complex process with countless important details, and overlooking or miscommunicating even one of them can spell disaster that neither side wants to be responsible for. No matter how good your planning, you're going to have unexpected stuff you have to work through with your contractor. In our case, we had a lot of challenges with our architecting process, so, that lead to even more overlooked details that could have been disastrous. In each case, Fran and I were able to sit down, have adult conversations, think of solutions, and come to agreements I felt were fair. At many points, he could have made demands and I would have been stuck with either accepting them or being left with half a house sitting out in the rain. But, I think he's the type of person who foremost wants to be able to look back on his life as having done lots of quality work with integrity -- which I was very thankful for in those situations. If you want to get accurate cost estimates (with any Contractor), spend any extra money to get extra time with your architect filling in details. Never accept "oh, you can decide and figure out those things when you get there." Do your windows open vertically or horizontally? How big is your toilet going to be and how much space is there between it and your sink countertop edge? What's the natural slope of the ground you're putting your foundation on? Having architectural plans with details explicitly annotated down to this level will make everyone's life easier and save you thousands of dollars after the city inspector comes in. Mistakes we made in our architecting process that could have been disastrous nightmares, but, thankfully, were manageable with Fran. I remember my main question at the beginning of the process was "will the cost I'm quoted be the cost I pay in the end?" The final answer: well, no. But, that's because I chose to turn it into something much fancier than what I started with. I do believe that had I kept to the original plan, Fran would have kept within a reasonable bound of his original cost just fine. The next question we had was "will they maintain the timeline they've quoted?" The answer: pretty darn close to it even though we increased the scope as we went. It was actually us that often slowed things down, wanting more time to think about key decisions we needed to make. Fran was quite eager to keep things humming along and we certainly had no sense of feeling abandoned or anything. Naturally, for a project this size, there were a million other questions we had. Rather than enumerate them all here, I'd be happy to answer any questions messaged to my yelp profile. But, in short, we were incredibly lucky to have found Fran and enlisted his help in building our home into a structure with both a professional sturdiness to it and a uniquely designed personality we love :)
