WORST MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION ON THE ISLAND!!! They will not only CANCEL your scheduled medical appointment but they will not call you to inform what they did,steal your insurance money,have you wait 2-3 hours for a ride home from dialysis and doctors appointments. The owner Marilyn cares more about money then her paying customers who are all Kaiser & HMSA patients. Worst service! Totally unprofessional. Totally dangerous. Unbelievable that Kaiser still uses this company at all. They were super late delivering my family member. When I called to find out when I could expect them and to let them know that they had forgotten her brace at Kaiser and she wasn't supposed to be moved without it, the woman (owner) on the phone yelled and hung up on me. An hour and a half after the scheduled arrival time two guys arrived and unloaded my family member on the gurney and left her in the rain while they tried to tell me they didn't want to carry her on the gurney cause it was heavy so they would just carry her on a sheet! I explained that was out of the question as this person was very fragile and not supposed to even lift her head without her brace. These guys had driven away from Kaiser before the nurse could put her brace on and they wanted to move her on a sheet! One guy wound up carrying the front of the gurney and I had to help the other guy with the back of it. The guy in the back was so out of shape he had to stop and catch his breath on every step even though I did most of the lifting. The driver was the owner's son who told me to call her if had any complaints. Highly recommend NEVER using this company if you care about the person being transported! read more

They have horrible customer service and not efficient. I've been using many different handicap transportation companies for my job. RMB gave me terrible experience. They made me and my 96 yrs old client waiting for about 90min. I called and checked on them every 30min. She answered only "we are coming! We are coming! ". They didn't give us any estimates of arrival time even I asked for. So, we waited, waited, waited... without any ideas when they would pick us up. Then, when thay finally showed up. They didn't say anything, I mean nothing. No "Hi", no "sorry ", no "thank you ", no "have a nice day ".... I mean nothing. They acted like we don't exist, just drop us off and drove off. read more

We were referred to RMB by our health plan since they are contracted to do business with them. My mom has been going to dialysis for over four years, and RMB has been providing the transport service for her dialysis treatments. The drivers are courteous, and my mom knows all the drivers by name. I've communicated with Marilyn, the dispatcher, and Ryan, who confirms reservations. Marilyn tends to talk fast, and some people would initially take it the wrong way. However, from the drivers and other people who utilize RMB, Marilyn means well since she's always receiving calls from patients, hospitals, and health plans. My scheduled ride was for 4:30 P.M.I had a procedure on my face where I had to stay out of the sun at Kaiser Permanente Honolulu clinic on Pensacola St. Honolulu. They are doing renovation work at Kaiser right now so the pick up would be at the corner of Pensacola and Young and there are signs to redirect you to that area. At 4:34 I called RMB and a very fast talking foreign lady told me she'd call me right back. Well she didn't call me right back and 18 minutes later I called her again. This time she made the excuse that the driver was there but he couldn't find the place. She then proceeded to say that she would be picking me up but she was in Kailua and didn't know how long it would take because of traffic. A husband and wife team finally arrived around 5:30 p.m. I proceeded to tell the driver the easy way to get me home but he said he was going to rely on his GPS which was definitely the long way home! The driver kept addressing me as mama and I'm pretty sure he was close to my age which I found to be disturbing! I then told him he could pull up in the parking area to my apartment and he said well you don't have any luggage. At that point I said as he was parked on the street to just let me off here and next time I'll be sure to pay for a taxi cab myself! The savings of $10.00 for me was definitely not worth my 1 hour wait! They were apologetic but I do believe they're not a good service and probably charging ten times what a taxi would charge. Terrible customer service! I called to inquire for a pick up and drop off within 2 miles for 1 hour. I've never had experience with these kind of services so I was hoping for a thorough explanation. The lady that answered kept interrupting me and wouldn't even let me finish my sentence. I asked how pricing worked and she would not tell me which is complete BS. There goes my trust with this company... all I needed was a simple ride for my disabled grandmother and she wanted to charge me almost $100. She kept rushing me off the phone and was like "just call me just call me when you want a ride, ok thank you bye" and hung up. Like WTF? They have always arrived on time and were incredibly gentle in moving my loved one in and out of the vehicle while providing a smooth and comfortable ride to and from. Worst company on island. Nurses called several times and couldnt get a hold of them then they arrived late and on the way home allmost got into 2 accidents (worst driver i have ever experienced)and when i asked for his name he refused to give me his name and said "go ahead call my boss she doesnt care bcuz you dont pay for the ride anyway " ( hmsa pays for my transportation for certain procedures) Contacted boss and complained and she hung up on me. RMB was referred to my mom that runs a care home. We have used this company several times to transport my mom's clients who are wheelchair bound to and from doctors' appointments. Their vans are clean and their drivers are very professional and courteous. From my understanding, this is a family run company. This company has very bad service. Yesterday when they dropped my client off from dialysis, the driver together with his wife, just dropped my client outside by the Mailbox and left her there, instead dropping her off in front of the garage where the wheelchair access is located. My client told the driver to drop her off in front of the garage but he ignored her request. When I went out to receive my client I had to look around for her and found her by the mailbox. When I called them to discuss the matter, I spoke to the drivers wife to let her know that if they were to drop her off again to drop her in front of the garage. The wife responded with attitude "Were not door to door" This is in her exact words. Why would you not drop the cient off where the wheelchair access is and just leave the client outside by the road by themselves. She was very rude and she also said to complain with the Insurance Company if I had any issues and just hanged up. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with a Transport Drivers/ Owners. My client's been going to Dialysis for over 5 yrs now and they would drop her off inside the garage where the wheelchair access is not outside by the road or Mailbox. I will never ever use this Transport again. The excuse of they're not a "door to door" Transport is no excuse to just drop off the clients wherever they please. Mind you they won't care if you make a complaint because it's the owner who's handling the drop off and pick up. Just a heads up for anyone looking for transportation, you might want to reconsider choosing them if you don't want your client or loved ones to be just dropped off any where. read more

Great company!! We have a care home and the workers took really good care of one of our patients who went to dialysis every MWF. The driver is always kind and accommodating, the patient we had was heavy and the ramp incline on our house is a bit steep but the driver never hesitated to help us and handle transporting the patient to the van without any trouble or complaints. Also the dispatcher, Marilyn was really nice, she was really good about notifying us if the drivers were running late or if we had to call to cancel or reschedule. Also when we had an issue Ryan the manager was kind, patient, and went above and beyond to really help us resolve the problem. Overall the service we got from them has been top notch. Definitely would recommend their services for caregivers or people who need transportation services. read more

This is bad RMB transportation company. They are not on time of schedule pick up the patient. We wait more than one hours.

This company is not safe if you are transporting a loved one. Today 4/20/2019, 2 good size men attempted to carry my mother up the stairs and is wide enough for a gurney but the decided to use the sheet. Somehow, my mom's above the left eyelid was scraped by the ground and bled. She is only 60 lbs and they could not handle carrying her up the stairs. DO NOT USE This COMPANY, the manager Ryan does not even call to check on my mom and basically tried ignoring my call. I am not done with this company. My mom was coming home to start hospice. The transporters are not trained properly even though the owner say they are. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR LOVED ONE SAFE. read more
