DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM
The "Executive Vice President Barbara" was rude, yelling, and never took any accountability, for anything.
The most unprofessional behavior from a business I EVER encountered. One of the buses didn't show up to take our preschool kids on their field trip and after much shuffling and confusion, it was decided parents would all just drive themselves. We were already running almost an hour behind. I called with some of the other parents to express our dissatisfaction that the company failed to send the buses, and the "Executive Vice President - Barbara", although I surely hope she's not really an EVP because that would just be embarrassing for the company, essentially tells us that "it's not our fault, it's your guys' fault, because my worker Debbie would NEVER pass on misinformation. So it's not us, it's you guys!". She was literally yelling (which I will freely admit I also had my voice raised) at me; flinging childish statements like "I not yelling, YOU da one yelling".
I didn't even get around to telling her that my main reason for calling was to let the company know that the parents were not happy that we all took a day off from work to spend with our kiddos on their last field trip of the year, and 1/3 of the time was wasted waiting for a bus that wasn't coming. Instead of hearing my concerns, Barbara felt the need to YELL (full on titta yelling, which is bullying behavior) at me saying none of it was their fault, it was all our fault. Oh, and the best part that was really just icing on the cake? I had told her that the adults felt it was more important for the kids and teachers to go ahead on the bus and the parents would follow in their own cars. Well Barbara was adamant later in the conversation that I had said "only the kids went on the bus" and kept yelling at me that I was giving her bad information and saying "yeah well you said". So I told her, okay Barbara, if misspoke I apologize, but for the sake of moving forward in this conversation can we move past that? And what was her response? "Yeah, but YOU said..." repeat repeat repeat. I have had more coherent and productive conversations with my preschool aged child. Then when I told her "STOP, move forward! that has nothing to do with anything!" She hung up. HUNG UP on a customer.
Bottom line, GROUND TRANSPORT: there were parents who had taken off work to be with their little ones on their field trip today. One of the buses that was supposed to have been there, was not. Regardless of the circumstances that resulted in the bus not being there, there was obviously some breakdown in the links of communication. MR. GOMES, who was cited as being the owner of this company, if you read this I hope you speak with your staff if what is acceptable behavior when dealing with customers. Please feel free to listen to the recording of the conversation as your phone line says the conversation will be recorded. We have it recorded by one of our parents on our end. read more
