Rj Shore Collision did an AMAZING job on my car. My 2018 Mazda cx5 got side swiped and needed a new headlight and had damage to the front end. Before going to RJ Shore I got a quote from a well known body shop for 3,300. They insisted that I needed a whole new front bumper as well as the headlight AND possibly a hood. When I brought it to Rich I explained to him that I was not going through insurance and wanted to keep the price down. He said he could do the headlight and fix up the front end (which had a crack, scratches, and was popped out of place) without replacing the bumper or hood. He did all the work for less than HALF the price of my previous estimate. He was MORE than reasonable especially considering my headlight assembly alone retails for over 1,000. All the repairs only took 3 days and he was great about updating me with pictures and responding to any questions via text. When I picked up my car it looked just as good as the first day I bought it! They even detailed the entire car (inside and out). The price was exactly what he gave me as an estimate, no surprises. Guys please go somewhere else , I brought in my car to get the bumper and right fender replaced. Long story short got the bumper done right but they left my windshield pump disconnected and now all of a sudden my windshield is squeaking like crazy now . God knows what else they messed up that I have not noticed . read more

My mechanic just notified me that I need roughly $1000 of work on my brakes due to errors that R J Shore made when repairing my vehicle after a major crash. When I contacted them about it naturally they disclaimed responsibility. Nobody else has worked on the vehicle so my mechanic is 100% sure it was shoddy work by Shore, which thankfully did not result in another accident due to brake failure. I've used Shore twice but most definitely will never use them again. Be careful! read more

My insurance company sent them to tow my car (Lexus). I requested a flatbed be used via my insurance company, the good news is RJ sent a flatbed truck and came very quickly so they deserve some credit for that. To my surprise, the gentleman who came did NOT hoist the car up on the flatbed. He drove the flatbed towing my car behind it. I quickly called him on the phone and asked why he didn't put it on the flat bed and his reply was "it's a front wheel drive car and it's easier this way". I expressed that I specifically requested a flat bed so as to minimize any potential damage to the car and he assured me that it will be fine. I called the towing company to voice my concern and get more details as to why they did not put my car on the flat bed. The dispatcher went on pitbull attack mode immediately. She aggressively challenged me on why I wanted the flatbed used and loudly and condescendingly began to "educate me" that it is not true that a flatbed is safer for the car and that in fact the opposite is true. She challenged me on where I got my information, that they would not tell a mechanic how to do their job and so no one should challenge them on how they should tow the car since that is their expertise. She then went on to tell me that hoisting a car onto the flatbed risks the front bumper getting ripped completely off the car and other potential damages. She went on and on and would not let me speak, getting more and more agitated. I tried to tell her I specifically asked for a flat bed and that's what I had wanted due to some speed bumps and potholes between my house and the mechanic. She was extremely rude, argumentative, condescending and actually hung up the phone on me. It was an 8 minute conversation where I had the opportunity to say no more than 5 complete sentences without getting cut off. I suspect that she must have dealt with many similar complaints because her attitude seemed to say "I don't have time to deal with this shit again". Simply put: it's MY car, I'm paying (via my insurance) and I decide how it will be towed. I called my insurance company to let them know, they were also surprised that the car was not hoisted onto the flatbed. RJ you need to train your personnel on how to speak with unhappy customers without being rude, aggressive and disrespectful. Furthermore, if in your "expert opinion" hoisting a sedan onto a flatbed risks ripping off the whole front bumper, then better job training for your staff to mitigate that risk is in order. BE WARNED: per the dispatcher I spoke with on the phone, RJ's "expert" opinion is that flatbed towing is far more dangerous for your car and it is not your place nor your mechanic's to specify how they should tow your car. In my experience, even if you specifically request a flatbed, they will not use it (unless maybe if your car has 4 flat tires). read more
