Shrimp and Polenta - lardons were the best part; shrimp overcooked.

Truly nice space and view, very good service with mediocre, over-priced and unrefined food.

Talk about a cute spot!! Located on the 3rd floor of the Ada hotel this restaurant is not one to miss. This is an indoor/outdoor spot with ample seating both inside and a rooftop terrace with great seating as well. Upon entry to the restaurant we were greeted by friendly staff who gave us great recommendations on what to order. Drink: I ordered the N/A Spritz which was refreshing, flavorful, and bright. Food: -Rix House Pulled Burrata. Amazingly fresh with great vegetables and balsamic vinegar. -Grilled otto's Chicken: Beautifully cooked chicken with perfectly cooked rice. Full of flavor! I can't recommend this place again and I'm looking forward to my next visit here!

    Walleye

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and decor! Hostess, server, and bartenders were all extremely welcoming and attentive. Food came out quick with lovely presentation. Drinks were also great! We had the whitefish dip, it was great. Also ordered the walleye and salmon. They looked amazing but both lacked some flavor. The salmon was definitely better than the walleye. Regardless, I would definitely go back just for the vibe.

Mushroom risotto (wild rice because changes to supply)

The service was amazing. Our hostess was welcoming and honest about menu changes. However, the food was lacking and I feel bad saying that considering the service. Both my partner and I's meals were lukewarm & unfortunately had alterations to the meal due to lack of supply *despite* a reservation made over a week prior with a follow up confirmation call. Had a holiday drink that tasted just like a normal espresso martini. Ambience good. Average.

Such a great all year rooftop situation. Fun drinks. Great bartender knowledge. Sit at the porch rail in the summertime.

Service was outstanding and the food was throughly enjoyed across our party of four . I kicked off with deviled eggs and followed with lamb shepherds pie . Both the appetizer and entree were fantastic . The shepherds pie was filling and I loved the presentation of the potato surrounding the lamb and vegetables. My fiancee had Caesar salad to start followed by salmon . Similar to my summary that both dishes were fantastic. We will definitely be back again.

I had heard that this place had good food, but because the price point was a bit higher than average, I wanted to try it for myself before bringing my family. The service was attentive and friendly. The food, however, did not meet expectations. I found the deviled eggs to be overcooked and a bit rubbery while simultaneously lacking flavor. The presentation was nice but I care more about the taste than how it looks. The Tavern Smash Burger does not seem to know what it wants to be. The patties were thicker than a traditional smash burger, lacking the juiciness of a regular burger while also missing the caramelization of your typical smash patty. The accompanying "Chef's Sauce" for the burger was not particularly flavorful and there was not enough acidic content to counter the fattiness of the burger. The bacon that topped the burger was cubed pieces that were chewy and frankly off-putting, and I found myself wishing for crispy bacon strips instead. All in all, I really wanted to love this place, but I just don't. The food wasn't terrible, but also nowhere near good enough to justify the cost or make me want to stop back in.

Service was top notch from start to finish. Plates were cleared between each course, we were checked on often but not too much and felt super taken care of. The tart strawberry mocktail was one of the best I've ever had, refreshing and perfectly balanced. We started with the truffle arancini- it sits on top of a bed of black pepper aioli which was to die for. The gem salad was fresh- loved the addition of crispy prosciutto&mandarins. I had the double waygu burger with fries(highly recommend asking for a side of the black pepper aioli for your fries!!) while my husband had the hanger steak frites. Both were cooked perfectly and SO flavorful. We were stuffed, but had to finish with the tiramisu. It came in a chilled glass- so appreciate the attention to detail. I'll be thinking about this meal until I can come back for more!

Food is fresh, service is excellent and the ambiance is cool too. My waitress was on it with her recs! She helped me find a gin drink to my linking and talked up the scallops. I got them and loved it! Dishes were a bit garlicky, but I like garlic! The bed tartar was wonderful and I enjoyed how they "chunked" the meat instead of making it a mush. My friend got a steak on top of the gnocchi and really enjoyed it! Overall I think this restaurant is worth the hype and canto wait to dine here again! It's important to know that if you want to dine here, plan to reserve a table ahead or plan to wait for a table. They hold 50% of table s for walk ins. Parking DT is always a challenge and once they build the soccer stadium, I imagine it will be craziness. It just takes a bit of planning.
